Sad Cypress

If this is what a sad cypress smells like. Then i am very happy being sad. :)~ Don't expect this to smell like TF italian cypress. Nope not at all. To be honest. I like this ten times better then the TF. This has a crisp cypress note that mixes great with neroli. It gives the scent an up beat edge. Not sad to me. Earthy,crisp and edgy! I love the underlying tones of honey and mahogany! It adds so much woody depth. This isn't a run of the mill cypress that is dark and brooding woods alone. This juice has character! And please don't fear the iso e super or the castoreum. It's such a background player you can barely tell. Everything is well blended and along the lines of the other fragrances. Great depth. Good projection,sillage and performance! The fragrance lasted about 8 hours for me. But i could tell that when i sprayed it like the others. The oil content feels higher then a mall scent. And the oils don't sit on the skin for long. So don't worry, it's not like applying a concentrated perfume oil. Just a good quality perfume. For those earthy,woody fragrance lovers. Amazing scent for all around use, any season, any time. Sweet and sappy, but with bits of freshness to balance that out. Great outdoors, especially at this time of year when all the plants on campus are blooming.

Recently dug this out of my collection's forgotten section after receiving a bottle of Broken Glass by Blackbird. The two have similar profiles, though my body much prefers the warm, fresh, aromatics of Sad Cypress over the sharp sting of Broken Glass. The longevity is ample, and it mixes and layers with other scents well without a thought. Wish I had pulled this out sooner, it would have been lovely this past winter.
