A Cloud of Cocoa

It smells exactly as advertised, hot chocolate. You don’t really get the boozy notes when you smell it all that well, but you can definitely taste it and my god does this taste good. It doesn’t taste artificial and tastes like what I imagine a hot chocolate flavored saltwater taffy would taste like. As someone who only recently has learned to appreciate gourmands, I don’t really know when I would want to smell like hot chocolate other then Christmas morning when I want to smell like the most delicious cup of boozy hot chocolate while I have my own. This one is worth tasting of the three by far, and the smell of it is interesting but it’s exactly as advertised, so if that appeals then it’s a definite. My favorite thing about this by far is the dry down. It goes from being the strong, chocolate smell that smells like you have the mug in your hand to a very subtle, cocoa note that feels as delicate as actual cocoa is, and it’s wonderful.

This smells just like a chocolate milkshake, it's supposed to be edible as well but that's more of a gimmick than a real feature. I wouldn't actually spray this on food and eat it, naturally it has a strong chemical taste (while also resembling chocolate). The perfume though actually caused some people to do a double take when walking by me like "where's that smell coming from?" in a positive way. I wouldn't bother with the other ones in this collection because those don't even smell like gourmands, but this one is solid.

Smells like a melted Tootsie Roll! Pretty nice scent, but not something I'd like to wear (even as a gourmand lover).

i love sweet dessert smells but this is not for me... like smelling chocolate syrup. cool concept though apparently these are edible and wearable so they can spray them on your ice cream at salt and straw locations

asked for a spray of this on my ice cream at salt and straw - unfortunately this month’s theme is chocolatiers so somewhat redundant with my scoop of cocoa nibs and frangipane. Smelled great emanating from my cup, but can’t speak for how it performs on skin :)
