Omnia IV

Omnia IV was launched in 2019 and is part of the authorial line of the In the Box brand, called Match of Senses. Along with it, another three perfumes hit the market at the same time: Origine Un, Euphoria Sensuale, and Fusion Énigmatique. Omnia IV is classified by the manufacturer as woody-spicy and its fragrance has notes of bergamot, cardamom, pepper, grapefruit, nutmeg, and elemi, on top. In the body, notes of lavender, whiskey, and violet leaves were combined, while the base brings notes of cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, and ambergris. Its color is brown, and the bottle has a slight gradient that, for me, combines very well with the fragrance that carries. That's because, the same feeling of being in a menswear store of formal clothes, with a vintage perfume sprayed inside, I've already felt in other creations, whose bottles also have the same hue, known as amber glass. On the skin, Omnia IV begins with an air of mystery. Its fragrance reveals a chocolate scent, which drowns out all the citrus content I was hoping for. There is a strong resinous aspect, but it lacked – in my opinion – a little more presence of nutmeg and, above all, cardamom. And stay tuned: in the olfactory tape, a vulgar nuance insists on appearing. On skin (at least, on mine) that doesn't happen! The evolution of Omnia IV is smoother than that of Origine Un. The whiskey note gives the boozy aspect, which lasts throughout the drying process, but it is the sandalwood that determines the path towards which the composition will follow. Then, the base becomes warmer, thanks to amber and patchouli, being the latter very evident and of excellent quality. Omnia IV doesn't seem to exhale much, even though it has Parfum concentration. The feeling of enveloping, of hugging, is greater than that of projection. But the durability can not be questioned. It is that type of perfume that, if its fragrance matches with your skin, will easily become your signature for a long time.
