Zum Mist Lavender Lemon

The lavender in the title caught my attention but when I sniffed this unfortunately the lemon was just too overpowering. It’s a good quality lemon scents with a twist of sweetness. It smells quite like the lemon scentsy wax bars I used to buy when I was young and naive and under the impression that kitchens MUST smell like lemon in order to smell like they were properly clean (who gave me that silly notion?) Scentsy was notorious back in the day for making wax cubes and all types of other products that knock you in the face with how strong and potent they were. And this fragrance mist had quite similar tenacity that I remember from all those years of politely attending the parties and purchasing those same scents over and over again. This isn’t unique, I don’t think it intends to be. It’s just a nice, straight forward lemon. Not very natural, more sweet and candle or fragrance oil like, which considering these are intended as room or body sprays, makes sense. I wouldn’t purchase this if you’re expecting any sort of lavender scent, as I was when I tried this. I’m glad I found these at my local grocery store, there was a time where I thought about buying a few of these blind. This would have been a disappointment, but if you love strong sweet lemon bombs, give it a try.

A fruity, pineapple type of lemon note with lavender and rosemary. It smells good, but it reminds me a bit too much of a cleaning product. This might appeal to people who love Lemon Pledge, unfortunately it's a bit astringent for my taste.
