I LOVE tuberose, and was ready to adore “Black Datura” by Miller Harris, unfortunately, it turns sour on my skin, so disappointing. And I’m not into green fragrances! So what happens with this one? 🤯 whoa... the tuberose is gorgeous, very stable, round and sexy, I can’t stop sniffing my skin. If “Tubéreuse Astrale” by Maison Crivelli, “Tubéreuse Impériale” by BDK, and “Tuberose in blue” by Altaia develop beautifully on your skin, this one’s for you.

Very similar to Narciso Rodriguez perfume and also poudree. I love it

This was my first experience with a chypre (for reference this is a floral chypre parfum). I have heard the days of yore before 2012 IFRA ban on oak moss. Now most makes substitute natural moss to complete the chypre accord. The history of the chypre family of accords is fascinating - from scented gloves and wigs to women's emancipation. Having no personal reference to the days of genuine oak moss, I will judge this fragrance at nose value (and a couple other criteria). Sad to say that from this, I am probably not a chypre fan. However, I enthusiastically love tuberose. In this fragrance, the sultry scent of the tuberose blends with the woodiness of the chypre to create a balm, resinous quality. Is there a note of amber? After the boldness of the tuberose settles, the resin/amber is what lingers on the skin. The reach is quite good though. I sprayed 1 1/2 sprays (more for me to pick up the notes) and my husband could smell it at 10 ft. He picked up a powdery quality, probably the moss. My rating: ⭐️ generous fragrance concentration of 20% ⭐️ complexity ⭐️ originality (I like a floral gourmand but they're everywhere) ⭐️ minimal formulation Bonus that there are refills and the packaging is being "artcycled") but no extra star! I docked a star for saying it is tuberose forward but actually being chypre heavy. TL:DR Not so much tuberose as chypre. Earthy, mossy amber that is slightly masculine and blends into the skin's natural scent

Initial spray is very mentholated, and in the dry-down, it smelled pretty exact to Tuberosa from Profumum Roma. Like, maybe 98% like Tuberosa to my nose. So it might be a bit repetitive to own both. It’s not a fully bloomed tuberose, it’s still encased in its bud. Perfectly unisex. In its later stages, it becomes slightly creamier... only slightly. Not exactly a love from either fragrances, but it was nice to have tried both and drawn a comparison between the two.

The bottle and marketing is beautiful, but Or de Moi is not. To me it smells like rotting , vegetal tuberose . Pass

Wilting tuberose drowning in a ton of mossy green notes...slightly soapy and screechy scent. This is not for me. A sample is more than enough.
