Prends-Moi (Take Me)

Prendi-moi starts off w/ the smell of raspberry lip-gloss. I am seeing a woman in my mind's eye that has very glossy red lips. As the fragrance develops it becomes brighter, I sense aldehydes, tart bergamot and a soft pink pepper. Rose shines, it is a red rose, first a bud, then a full flower. Dusting chocolate and especially my favorite spice of all in perfume cardamom blankets the rose and she becomes almost edible. Tuberose mingles w/ the red rose and spices, and they do a swirling dance, round and round in circles and create a dizzying effect. I'm sure the perfumer here wanted to create the feeling of loves first blush and has succeeded quite nicely. The woman's cosmetics effect in Prendi-moi is done quite brilliantly, this perfume does smell like lipstick but there is more to it than that. It smells of the heat coming off of a woman. The smell of her dusting powder, her lipstick fills the air. This perfume captures the smell of a woman falling in love. Dizzy, cautious, blushing, daring, to dare. Gently pulsing, flushing warmth like the flow of blood to the heart. Very Beautiful. Oh, and also full bottle worthy. My favorite of the line. Edit: Prends-moi is not an overtly sexual perfume. It is much more ladylike but w/ a budding sensuality underneath. This is just such a pretty and ladylike perfume.

Oooohh, I love it. LOVE IT!! Prends-Moi pushes all the right olfactory buttons for me as a fragrance I might wear every single day. Every evening? Definitely not. To begin with, Take Me is not provocative despite what the suggestive back against the wall name might lead you to believe. There's no challenge or dare-to-wear vibe. It may present as an invitation, but the invite isn't carnal, it's a cuddle on a big comfy couch. Prends-Moi is subtle, and rather comforting to me. It is also, quite lovely. The opening is raspberry with a little spice thrown in. Don't worry, it's not too much. It's pepper and a tiny bit of unlisted cinnamon. Bergamot usually grabs my attention as a top note, but not in the opening here. The middle is laced with lipstick without trying too hard. It's not the lipstick of Frederic Malle or of Chanel's Misia. Violet is replaced here making the lipstick wonderfully soft and creamy from the tuberose and a gentle red rose. The base is surprisingly and persistently warm with far more amber than cacao to my nose, and to my liking. Noteworthy Notes lipstick-- a matte (not satiny in feel) floral--a soft creamy tuberose and an equally soft rose warm and comfortable not even remotely wanton...an absolute keeper nonetheless <3

This is a poofy, magenta, satin-wrapped, heart-shaped box of chocolates in an old Hollywood movie. The chocolates are all filled with different fruit-flavored cremes and cordials, and maybe a couple are half-bitten, with waxy lipstick left around the bite. Prends-Moi is the olfactory equivalent of mid-century orchestral easy listening vinyls. I recall the cover art of Mantovani's Continental Encores, with a luxurious housewife reaching her arm to the wealthy husband who comes through the door of their red-and-pink velvet filled home. Surely she wore this to tempt him back from his work! Perhaps she has novelty fruity desserts waiting in the kitchen. My one complaint would be that the sillage settles, after a couple hours, into a slightly sour and powdery "tropical" note that strongly reminds me of those gel air fresheners that twist open, but it retains the original impression on the skin. This is unavoidable enough for me to never FS it. The magenta satin impression is gradually taken over by coral organza.

I’m normally a white floral girl, or if there’s something interesting to note or unique I’ll try it. On paper, this perfume is a no-no. Too many spices, and never had lipstick perfume before. I got a sample of each isabey as I love gardenia and fleur nocturne. I fell in love with this and bought a barely used unloved blind buy off eBay. It’s now one of my daily go to fragrances and will be replaced when I use it all. It’s overtaken mfk a La rose. For me it’s ever so slightly fruity but barely, the spices temper the fruit but are blended so well as to not be spicy, and the lipstick is main feature..roses are mostly present too but not sickly like Stella. I agree, this is not sensual or sultry. It’s elegant fresh and energetic but so feminine. Sometime I blend it with Sana jardin REvolution de fleur to soften and add floral. I think this is one of my top 5 perfumes of all time. I love it.

Love at first sniff. First off, if you love Givenchy Amarige, you will love this I reckon. It is like it's little sister, sweet, fruity, very girly and classic. This will serve you on a date, at the office and on a night out. So inoffensive, a crowd pleaser. I sniff my wrist constantly when I wear it, it smells so good. I had gotten a sample in my Pafory subscription, bought a bottle straight away.
