L'Eau d'Issey Summer Pour Homme 2008

Well I must say that this is really growing on me. Seems kind of simplistic when used in Fall through Spring, but I have to say that in this blistering summer of 2011 (mid-western USA) this fragrance has REALLY shined. It is absolutely the best in my collection for these over-105-degree days. Keeps giving me the idea of cool refreshing oranges all day long. It has actually improved my morale in this heat. It lasts on me all day at work (some of which involves being outdoors in the HEAT of the sun), and this kind of longevity in a summer fragrance is unheard of for me. I need to try the Summer 2009 version!

What can I say, this is my favorite scent, and when you want to "get fresh" and go out, this is the stuff you need to try before you buy, very well put together, sophisticated, classy, eye opening, but not brash, and definitely not harsh. Nice summer version Pimp C, R.I.P man, this was his favorite cologne, probably his only, Mary J. Blige's favorite too. Man............WOMEN LOVE THIS!!!!!!!

I really love this one. I am currently out of this one. This is a smooth, and clean scent that demanded attention when I wore it. The compliments never stoped.This cologne is simply awesome but hard to find.

This smells like my 2003 original formulation of Issey Pour Homme 😍

It's so fresh and pleasant. It's a perfect mix and balance of spices and citrus. The freshness is present throughout the entire scent life. The coriander's sweetness rounds up the fragrance and gives it an aromatic quality. It's not sweet fresh, it's aromatic fresh and very well done! A+!!!

It's an orange scent with a little bit of spice. 85% fruity and 15% spices. Very well done and does not get mentioned a lot. Probably discontinued but can be found for decent prices. Performance is slightly above average and I do like it.

This is what I'd be smelling at a waterfall somewhere in Asia as I meditate and let the waterfall message the back of my neck. The opening reminds me of a toned down Dylan Blue but the dry down is it's own unique fresh smell. Can we also appreciate the chemistry for a second. It manages to perform like an EDP with just a few ingredients, this is very hard to do and it does it well. Scent - Smells like Tang (that old sugar drink) Projection - 5/10 Longevity- 7/10

First impression; the opening is a bit peppery but not hot. Nice aqautic accord but not chilly cool. I notice some juicy fruity note but not very obvious. The drydown reminds of the original Issey. Nice scent and nice bottle! and this fragrance lasts forever! It's very impressive for this category. I am talking about 8+ hours on my dry skin.

At the moment, this is my husband's favorite perfume wardrobe. And I can not but agree with his choice. Totally. Makes me wanna hug him more, and keep that gorgeous scent's traces on my skin and clothes. One of the best ways to really stay in touch during the day. Beautiful! Fresh! Hugalish!

I'm really sorry for you 'seabear', but L'Eau d'Issey is one of the best fragrances I have ever met... and perfumes are my life. L'Eau d'Issey is one of my favorite. Can I recommend Allure by Chanel? I also love Dior Home (and the sport version).

First hour its almost the same as L'eau dissey pour homme 1994 , the dry down goes in its own way but same situations usage, freshie summer Yuzu , if u look over this u won't miss anything special

I dont know how you can say this fragrance is subtle? It's extremely strong and you only need a small spray, I absolutely love this but it's anything but subtle lol and it can be overpowering.

Love it it’s unique and like more than the original. It last for 5 hours moreover it’s soft and fresh good for daily use.

The scent is unique and is miles away from the original PH. Some may feel it strange or unpleasant. Don't blind-buy.
