Paradox for Men

WOW...!!!! Yes it's a cheapie, so don't expect much, if you try this fragrance keeping this in mind and without checking the notes here. You'll be heavily surprised that this was launched in 1999, I tried it today in 2023 and it beats so many mid range fragrances from well known designers by miles. It's fresh, soothing and the best part is that it is not like any other fragrance I have ever smelt. Given that I am always around bargain bins and mostly the cheapies and mid range fresh/blue fragrances are all the same, this one stands out. you can dress it up or down, extremely versatile as well. The only drawback is that it's discontinued and is no longer a cheapie, goes around $300 Aud on ebay. Not worth that price tag, but definitely worth a try through the small testers available for cheap.

My Love has this one. It's more fougere fruity kind of fragrance than chypre. Or may be chypre fruity is better description for him...? Compare to a lot of boring concoctions on the shelves these days this one is already a classic. Fresh attitude with some fruity and gentle spicy notes layered on nice woody base. It's not too sweet and has some character. Too synthetic?! I don't think so,,, Well ,What is natural these days?... Its only two options - You love it or,,, not! :) Different, but I think it's still worth a try.

i think it is suitable actually for age under 25 :) for me it's a very easy and young fragrance that is not aquatic or sporty. it smells a bit powdery but definately modern. i really like it! not a serious fragrance. i like to wear it for clubs and parties when i want to make nice and cool impression, it makes me feel that i'm young or younger, but not like tommy or such. definately worth a try!

Glad I bought the $5 mini on eBay instead of blind buying the whole bottle. Not a fan of this one. I was looking for the mangosteen note when I bought this to try. Sadly I didn’t get any mangosteen at all in this. I didn’t get any mango either. Only a hint of citrus. I even decanted the mini into an atomizer. Still only weak citrus with spice and vanilla. Soft all around. Oh well. Try the $5 mini with free shipping before you buy a bottle of this.

It smells very odd with strong herbal (mint/basil?) accord at the beginning. Then I get a sharp pineapple that isn't fruity. Yikes! There is a very artificial plasticky honey and it has a sweetness like a cough drop. It kinda works, it kinda doesn't. Its hard to explain. It doesn't "evoke" anything natural to me. I can tell this is something I wouldn't wear. Too bad, it's going back to the store.

This is terrible. It is probably the synthetic honey note that smells like rotten protein. Not manly, strange and synthetic fragrance. 2/10

It took me 3 years to finally blind buy Jacomo Paradox for Men. Everyone told me it was fruity and aquatic. Paradox for Men opens with an inky, dark, citrus with an underlying "green" vibe. Quickly, the dark and inkiness subside and a sweet honey note comes through with a fresh zesty spicy accord. The honey remains as the fresh spicy accord gives way to a sweet and smooth drydown. The drydown is where it becomes unisex. I like Paradox for what it is, but at first glance, it's just run of the mill fragrance. It's not a stand out by any means. I'm glad I just purchased a mini and not a big bottle.

The paradoxical Jacomo very soothing scent ........ There is a fruity background, which is mixed with a honey - jasmine and the end product is a mixture of relaxing feeling ..... Overall, I like ..... first a little like chocolate ....... but subtle scent! should be rested for a bit ....... A single negative aspects, if we can call it that is not exactly a clear masculine scent ........ 40+ women smoothly I could imagine the office ...... weird ..... but nevertheless I like .....

I just bought this yesterday. I really dont care for it on my skin but I sprayed it on my shirt and let it sit for a couple hrs and its great! Slightly musky. I would wear this a lot when it gets cooler outside.

Neither good nor bad. Nothing exceptional. Just a perfume. But I quite like the fact that "Chypre" ... This is very cool.
