An energizing Aromatic Chypre Back in 2014, I was just getting serious in my journey into the fascinating world of perfumes when fate decided to stir the pot. I was strolling towards a store near home when my eyes landed on a tiny, overlooked pharmacy tucked beside it. That day, with the shop owner momentarily absent, I found myself wandering outside the store—and that’s when I noticed it: a perfume box boldly labeled “Bogart.” Intrigued, I stepped inside and enquired about it. The elderly gentleman at the counter admitted he wasn’t too familiar with the prices and promised to ask his son. Sensing a story waiting to unfold, I left with a spark of curiosity ignited. Determined to uncover more about this mysterious fragrance, I hurried home and scoured the web. Every review and description only deepened my desire to make it mine. Later that very evening, I returned to the store. Although the striking box had mysteriously vanished, the son was there — and he offered me a the bottle for just $6. With a quiet thrill, I paid, clutched the bottle like a treasure, and stepped back into the evening. I spritzed a little into the cap and took a deep, confirming breath. In that moment, I knew it was perfect. From the very first spray, Bogart makes an unforgettable entrance — a burst of bitter, green notes kick-started by the crisp zing of aldehydes. Imagine the lively interplay of galbanum, juniper, and a hint of lemon blossom dancing together, their brightness elevated by touches of lemon, orange, and mandarin. Just a few minutes in, a rich leather note—Iso Butyl Quinoline—begins to emerge, echoing the character of classics like Knize Ten and Chanel’s Cuir de Russie. This smoky, tarry, woody essence is beautifully intertwined with minty geranium, aromatic rosemary, and lavender, with a dash of spice added by cloves and nutmeg for that subtle dramatic flair. As the scent evolves, the initial burst of citrus gracefully gives way to a sophisticated, mossy base of oakmoss and treemoss, all supported by soft musks and cedarwood. Despite its complexity, Bogart carries an airy freshness — making it the perfect companion for those contemplative rainy days. Eventually, I exhausted that first magical bottle - and in 2024, I ordered a replacement online for around $18. Although the new batch doesn’t quite capture the full depth of the original, it faithfully echoes the signature profile—right down to listing oakmoss and treemoss among its allergens. For anyone drawn to aromatic, leather-y, mossy chypres with quiet sophistication and a hint of nostalgia, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Bogart a try. It’s an utterly engaging, and energizing, fragrance experience. 8.5/10

Well... Let me think how to say that politely, since I don't want to offend anyone. (with my words, not the perfume). So... I'm not a frag nerd, but I usually actively advocate for non-mainstream frags. Indeed, my gf often tells me that she doesn't like my perfumes. Whatever... People are right in saying that this is a snapshot of the 70s/80s... That said, like nowadays, in the 70s/80s some people had money to buy expensive frags from Dior-Chanel-Guerlain, and tasteless others bought the cheap crap. And I am pretty confident in saying that this frag was considered a cheapie (at least for its scent) since day 1 it was sold. A previous comment mentions that this frag could be worn by a CEO that kicks asses (or something like that). That's correct: the CEO that kicks asses because he has no management skills and starts to realize that his miserable 80's firm is sinking... The stinky CEO of a shitty small company in a shitty small city in the middle of nowhere, that thinks he smells good because everybody smiles when he passes by... Not because they like his smell, but because they are making fun of him. The kind of company no one wants to work for. Back to the Bogart: - oakmoss + geranium = great grandad smell (no... it's no niche....it's no vintage... in 2018 it's just ridiculous...) - it is a cheapie. yes . because it smells cheap. period. (since the 70s) - do I regret buying it? no, because it has an historical value, and despite it is the pure stereotype of fougere perfume, it just sucks and smell of Jewel-Osco (the bathroom, not the fruit department). And also because I now know that "80s powerhouse" describes a perfume of old man who doesn't know he's ridiculous. (trump probably wears that one, but definitely not J.Bezos or E.Musk) I own and love OMS Oud Edition, But here... it is... how to say...... simply a no. I guess most of the previous reviews have been done by men between 70 and 110 years old, and maybe this perfume reminds them their teenage. But me, I'm only 40 years old, and I am unable physically to pull that one off. For men 70+, fall/winter daytime (assuming they stay home) PS: sorry if I offended someone, but I had to be clear.

Okay, this one had me scratching my head. From the previous reviews I thought this was going to be a no-brainer, in a good way. So, based on those, I did a blind buy. When I tried the first few sprays on myself, I got nothing but unpleasant, almost acrid SOAP. Or, as a previous reviewer said, "headache-inducing". This led me to believe I had gotten a stale bottle (Check Fresh says 2012). I wasn't ready to give up on it yet, so I tried spraying it on an article of clothing. In this case, a shirt cuff. It's now a completely different bottle of cologne! I get the opening notes of rosemary and lemon, and yes, while there still is a soapy note, it isn't nearly as prominent, nor as long-lasting. The drydown takes a while and I'm left with a wonderful nutmeg/clove/moss/leather and slight birch finish. The birch would remind you of sipping a root beer. I think this clearly is a case of (my) body chemistry affecting a fragrance! And I had a similar experience with Quorum Silver regarding skin application v/s clothing. So...if you have encountered the same experience as I...don't give up yet. Try it on clothing...a shirt collar, cuff, even a T-shirt. When I did this, I was rewarded with a wonderful scent. I have elevated my opinion up to where I can truly say "I love this stuff!" UPDATE: I kept thinking my bottle was stale, so I ordered another one. It comes from a much more recent batch. It's great stuff! The soapiness I detected from my first bottle, well...that must have been the staleness creeping in. The opening from the new bottle is a very pleasant lemon blossom and rosemary. Very nice! The mid and base notes are much more prominent than in my old bottle, and the drydown is a MUCH more balanced and pleasant mossy/birch/leather. Two thumbs up!

It's as if Bogart was formulated specifically to adhere to each follicle of a hairy man's chest, destined to be aspirated intimately and admired via handshakes and pats on the back—for a job well done of course. It could be the smell of a young single electrician who was raised in a blue-collar Italian neighborhood or the earnest banker who has a loyal wife and two mouths to feed. Or it could be a man who cruised at the Trocadero Transfer in San Francisco or danced the night away at The Saint in New York. A double-breasted suit, casual leisurewear, or tight jeans and a white tee, Bogart is one of those macho "colognes" that is a shapeshifter that could easily mold itself onto every male phenotype. Redolent of that savory flavor of masculinity of its zeitgeist, it is dry and herbal, rosemary and pine resin melding with spiced florals, rendered assertive and standing erect. It cannot be pinned as merely a soapy fougere, green chypre, or parched leather—it's all of the above, compact, concise, fortified and effective. It's does the job, and brilliantly so, in the thick of it, stout in body, firm in handshake. Groped by geranium, caressed by a lather, dried clean on the mosses, Bogart was released at a time when a scent for a man would suggest virility at the discretion of its wearer, just before such declarations were resonant and inescapable. It represents the crossroads between Aramis and Kouros, and is one helluva good smelling artifact of its era.

Nostalgia sells. And it's never been more true in 2023. Vinyls are making a comeback. Bold 80's inspired fashion is cool again. 80's synthpop is topping charts when it does come out. All the cheese of that era is suddenly being acknowledged for what it was - bold, confident, self assured. It is in this context that I find more of us slowly but surely going back to what is now referred to as the "powerhouse" men's fragrance of then. Loewe's Esencia Pour Homme, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, Polo Green, Kouros et al. In a sea of waxed pretty boy bodies, a hirsute Tom Selleck is cool again. Its become cool enough that Zara recently came out with Leather Jardin, which is a masterful nod to this style of perfume. That's what this fragrance is - nothing less. As indicated in several reviews below the opening is a punch to the gut. And while initially I was ambivalent about it, I now love it. As it softens up, it becomes more mature and classy - not a modern classy but a piped tobacco grandad classy. It feels like someone who first roughs you up and then offers you a drink. One of my favorites to wear at home along with Esencia Pour Homme, the aforementioned Leather Jardin and D&G Pour Homme. Transportive 9/10 only if it hits your nostalgia buttons

This stuff is awesome if you are into this genre of fragrances. I am a big fan of Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and have often heard Bogart Signature is a very similar.fragrance. My bottle of PRPH was getting low and the curiousity was getting to me so I ordered a bottle of Bogart Signature to replace it and wow people were right. It shares a lot of simlarities specialy in the opening but then Bogart takes it in a slightly different direction. It puts an even greener and darker spin on the classic DNA. PRPH seems brighter and fresher while this comes across as darker and even more manly than Paco if that if that's even possible. The big main differences that I notice in Bogart Signature is the cedar note making it woodier along with the birch which adds a smokey note to it, also the oakmoss comes across as darker in the Bogart as opposed to the Paco. Bogart Signature lists a leather note but I don't specifically pick it up perhaps it's blending in the background with the other base notes helping to give it that darker smoother vibe. I still really like PRPH but I think Bogart Signature has surpassed it as my favorite take on the DNA. Price and performance are both great and this is definitely a hidden gem in my books. .

The stiff bristles of a manface. A jawline you could chop fire wood with. The curly mat of chest wig, poking up atop a polo collar. The chisel of a protruding Adam's apple. I am Man. Smell my Bogart. This is a classic men's fragrance in all the ways I could possibly describe leather, wood, spice etc... mildly derivative of 80's (and early) men's power juices, this one in the woody aspect of Paco...sure...Quorum...yep...but I swear I can tell the subtle difference in this hyper complex animals, which ultimately come together to be vastly similar. If you have experience wearing fragrances you will be able to distinguish between them by two crucial factors, 1) their development over time, how the signature of different notes and accords pop out of a seemingly similar soup, at different times during the wearing and 2) The way it makes to feel. Largely it's differing versions of the same feeling....like bloody, great big, hairy MAN!!!!! Loved wearing Jacques Bogart for the first time, this is one classic I've never tried, blind bought for next to nothing, the new formula is COMPLETELY fine, and I'm really satisfied with it. great addition to my wardrobe.

HOW IS PINE NOT A NOTE LISTED 😲 very dark green almost like a gothic barbershop vibe ,incredibly sharp and astringent on the opening but with a darkness behind it ...the colour of the botte sums up how i see this juice ....classic ,dark green ,bitingly sharp soapy clean and very dense .....i was moaning about jaguar for men yesterday saying its too light and dry but nothing is really there ...this is how i pictured jaguar for men its beautiful ,the opening and mid especially reminds me of a very sharp soap that really burned the nostrils similar to what my dad used to use as a coal miner (maybe some soap he nicked from the colliery because i dont know anyone else who ever had it 😂) this is my first one but if the other bogarts are even close to this ill be very happy with the house very old school as it dries down i get a sharper and fresher quorum i much prefer it to quorum because of the sharpness it dosent really feel dated or "aftershavey" it just smells clean on top of that leather /oakmoss quorum type base ....very good so far almost an instant love and you could stock up for life for £100 😂

There's masculine and theirs kick ass masculine. This Bogart is the latter. Absolutely manly with the alpha top notes of a rugged burly lumberjack. But wait a half hour and the middle notes dry down to a fresh, green, gentlemen king of scent. The opening and base are so different it's like having two fragrances, literally. This is not a crowd pleaser, it's more of a statement. Like saying "I'm a man and I will not apologize for my manhood. Deal with it or shut the f*ck up." Although this can be worn by guys of all ages with a more masculine, mature and confident personality, it's probably best for those over 35. Having that said, if you are a young buck and want the attention of that 35+ hot milf you've been thinking about... Bogart Signature will unquestionably get her attention. Just remember 1 or 2 sprays is all you need. Anymore will be counterproductive. Light application will get her to want to lean in to get more of that masculine scent. The boys wearing their sweet unisex scents will be forgotten quickly.

Between this and One Man Show, Bogart for Men was always the sleeper fragrance and in my view the superior of the two. It was a solid, leathery fougere that while powerful never was so over-the-top that it couldn't be worn as a good daily scent. Some of the reviewers are correct about the top lemon accords tending to hide the remainder of the scent at opening, but given a bit of time, the rosemary, nutmeg and clove would take over and provide a very seamless and subtle transition into the leather/oakmoss base. Well-composed, tame compared to One Man Show, and elegant considering its period. It's likely to seem somewhat dated by today's standards, but were it to be more available, I'd include at least a sample in my own collection. Simply, it's nicely polished and constructed, mature and elegant. Totally maasculine and very befitting of someone 45 and up. Definitely worth sampling if you have a chance.

this a solid classic mature cologne; the opening is a blast of fresh green herbs (not too strong) but it melts down into a very nice dry chypre and woody Fougere, it has some spices in its composition that give a deep and enchanting performance to the fragrance; birch, leather, and Oakmoss are there, especially the leather and Oakmoss notes although not too harsh in the projection, the cologne dries down in a kind of herbal and mossy smell; somehow similar to Paco Rabanne and Pour Lui(Oscar De La Renta); I could dare to say this fragrance represents the image of a mature gentleman in his 50s (I may be wrong) but to me this fragrance can only be rocked by a strong gentleman with a solid rock character and steel personality; there's no way that a metrosexual-new boy can pull this fragrance as probably he wouldn't have enough men's testosterone in his body to hold this fragrance for just one day.

Great old school chypre. Sarts very herbal/aromatic with a powerful spicy oakmoss+carnation duo. Then it morphs into a dark, strong, smoky birch tar note (leather). The opening is similar to Chanel Antaeus, slightly less refined. The difference is in the drydown: Antaeus relaxes and opens to a luxurious rose/floral/labdanum combo, while Bogart keep going forward on the loud 80's powerhouse path. I initially hated it, but now that I have gone further in my fragrance journey, I am really loving this one. That said, be warned that the oakmoss, carnation and bitter leather combination may smell dated to Sauvage/Aventus fanboys, and it's not a crowdpleaser, thus hard to pull off in presence of "average joe" crowds. The low price makes it an easy blind buy for who would like to explore the 80's. Fall/Winter days, no dates or office wear! 35+

This is an amazing perfume which has nostalgia in it(80s), a fougere smell. It is relevant in present time as well if person has that aura. It prominently smells oldish but honestly it can be young and sensual as well. Opening was clear Oakmoss with leathery accord. Woody structure. There was hint of animalic smell (which I don't like much but nicely covered in others and bearable). Something very aromatic lasted for long time like sandalwood(minus sweet creamy) smell. Some aromatic herb. Longevity is BOMB.(new fragrances should learn from these classics) Sillage is amazing and projects for long time. I suggest to try it on skin rather than cloths. Skin does wonders with smell. Some people may not like. Suits mature old guy but can be amazing style for a young one of certain aura and vibe. P.S. price-wise this impresses beyond belief.

I blind bought Bogart due to the positive reviews. Being a fan of VC&A pour Homme, Polo Green, Quorum and the likes I thought I could not go wrong. And actually, I was hugely impressed. This stuff is really, really good, much better than I thought it would be, my benchmark for Jacques Bogart being One Man Show, a cologne I do not particularly like. This is way better! Shamus1 and others have described it perfectly. It is certainly not modern in any way, which is excellent in my book. I find the leather and herbs perfectly blended. It smells like "gravitas" plus "cleanliness" in a bottle. If it had to be a colour, it would be British Racing Green, a green brother for VC&A pour Homme. It lasts for ages and has a lot of projection (a little goes a long way). In a word, excellent.

Not the type to comment but when I saw they murdered (discontinued) such a classic scent last year I had to give my piece. Out the bottle its such a soapy mossy scent, transports me to doing laundry with my father with the mixture of all the detergents and whatever he would spray back in the day. Or just a bar of Irish Spring but way more mossier. The newer formulation sadly needs 5+ spritzes to really stand out (and it doesn't last long either) but its never been about its initial strong start, but the trail it leaves behind and those who hover close enough to you will pick up on it. Nothing but compliments I've received with this timepiece. Alas, now I can't comfortably splash myself after a shower to feel truly fresh knowing my less than half bottle will not be replaced.

I originally wasn't a fan, especially in the opening. But...on my 3rd wearing now and this is really good juice, especially for the price! It's like a cross between Open and Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. It has the dark piney essence of Open without the smoke and it has the fresh clean barbershop fugere profile like Paco Rabanne Pour Homme but with more depth from the moss and birch. The drydown at the 1hr mark all the way to hour 12 just keeps pushing and keeps getting better. Maybe a bit of that "dated" smell, but hey...those are the best blended fragrances for the price. Nowadays your lucky to get something that actually makes a statement and smells good without being a mass produced copycat cash grab. 9/10 for me overall, excellent fragrance from an Underrated house!

Wow! First, let me get this out of the way, this fragrance is for men only. I repeat, not for the boys. I'm a small time hobbyist/ collector and a Baby boomer so without further ado, it means I adore this scent. This is the first time I smelled this frag and I love its clean, green soapiness. Simply gorgeous, simply old school. I have worn Paco Rabanne Sport, Polo Green and Chaps back in the day so I can't say no to this testosterone beauty as a valuable addition to my collection. 10/10 for this old school wonder with a cute selling price “Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. The two most beautiful fragrance in the world that will cost you nothing and will get you a totally different kind of compliments” 🙏

There may be so many perfume lovers like me who do not understand so many minute details and fine notes...but can feel and understand a great fragrance on a whole.... For them I can say Bogart is a power packed masculinity. I just love its opening...fresh spicy and green blast of masculinity.... great classic aroma... Dry down is fantastic!!! Definitely for mature MEN , not for the boys who admire those sweet-fruity modern fragrances. Good projection and longevity. Bogart can really be the signature fragrance of a sophisticated successful MAN. I LOVE IT...!!! Go and get one. If you are a classic perfume lover , I am sure BOGART is for you.

A beautiful soapy mossy leather scent. Smells very green and soapy like you just lathered up with a bar of mossy leather scented soap. It's in the same family as Paco Rabanne but definitely it's own thing. Paco is creamier. Bogart signature is sharper, more masculine and outdoorsy than PRPH. They are both great but I prefer Bogart. I wish I would have stocked up on this one when it was $15 a bottle. It seems to be discontinued as prices are ridiculous. What are the people at Bogart thinking discontinuing this hall of fame fragrance? Update - It seems to be available again. Maybe there was just a pause in production.

Bogart Signature reminds many people of Paco Rabanne pour homme and Antonio Puig Quorum. I find that extraordinary. They share a few characteristics, mainly the fact that they are green scents, except Quorum. Paco Rabanne pour homme is green, creamy with a touch of powder and a good whiff of lavender and fresher. Bogart Signature smells more like a potpourri of dried herbs and woods. No citrus, no creamy or powdery nouances. Puig's Quorum is less herbal and more woody, with a touch of smoke and leather. All three are excellent and belong in every collection. But again "reminds me of" can mean so many things.

Another Blind Buy win as a wearable alternate for JB's One Man Show. I just went back in time with these two creations. Either one would work for me in my world other than during the scorching heat of Las Vegas summer. Given prudence to the initial spray and restraint from overdoing it, there is no reason a disciplined powerhouse fragrance like Bogart couldn't be worn regularly in a professional environment. Come to think of it... we did - we used to! Along with AzarroPH, Quorum, Polo, Drakkar, PacoR, Aramis & ODR Pour Lui! Now if we could just get David Lee Roth back with Eddie VH for one more Tour...

Bright lemon, herbal green and spicy opening. Truly in the 'barbershop' realm. The mossy green spices stay present through to the drydown, with leather and clean soapiness becoming more dominant. What a fantastic scent. On my skin it is bright, clean and masculine. Lasts a solid several hours, then remains just above a skin scent through the day. Seems to be discontinued based on the outrageous secondary prices. Another great lone lost it seems. But if you enjoy the 'dad scents' like I do (Quorum, Paco Rabanne, etc) you owe it to yourself to track this down if you can find it at a fair price.

An excellent vintage-style men's fragrance from the classic era of men's fragrances. Very strong well-blended Fougere, very masculine, most certainly leaning towards either older or well-dressed gentlemen. Prominent damp wet Pine, smoky Leather and dark incense-like Wood notes. Opening might be rather harsh, almost burnt leather feeling like. Unquestionably not a daily nor an easy wear, but a perfect fit for certain moods and situations. Unbelievable quality and performance for the price, this could have easily came out under certain designer's private blend line and totally fit the bill.

Superb, pure class. Jacques Bogart never disappoints me. What distinguishes Jacques Bogart from other designers is not only the notes they choose, but the way these notes are combined, they make complex fragrances but yet they are clear and amazing. For this one, I get all the mentioned notes, specially the smoky leather note which is amazing. This fragrance is different than other old ones, this you can easily like and enjoy from the first spray till the end. projection and longevity are great.

Bogart(signature), is a pure male cologne, full of strong character and solid personality, bold and harsh but the sophistication and high pedigree give to this fragrance a high status for those men out there, that know their gender and stand on their ground. Dark-green-musky cologne that only alpha males will feel comfortable wearing; the fragrance ain't recommended for the new guy that likes sweet and sugary scents, you may need a good pair of balls of steel to pull this off.

Comparable to Quorum minus some of the smokiness. Not better, but somewhat smoother. But not as buttery smooth as Krizia Uomo. More balanced than Paco (and better). Subtler and less demanding of attention than jazzy OMS, the one on this short list that really does its own thing. Different enough from Polo that the two really can't be compared. Generally similar as they all are, Bogart is unique enough that I should wear it more often than I do. And so I will.

Brisk, fresh offspring from an orgy of Paco Rabbane, Drakkar Noir, Brut, and Polo Green. Opens with fresh lavender and spices with just a touch of clean leather. Dries down to spicy mossy green goodness. Wouldn't say outdated, easily worn on a brisk fall day by anybody 30+ with a hankering for old school vibes. There's a smooth darkness about it that mirrors it's glossy deep black bottle. Incredible value. Scent: 8.5 / Sillage: 7.5 / Longevity: 7.5

Very strong masculine classic Fougere fragrance. Harsh Spicy and sharp citrusy lavenderish accord which set on a smoky burned plastic leathery base . You should have the appropriate mood to wear and it can easily be your Signature of power at appropriate time and location However it can be your window that you can open at any time to get an insight and make a journey for the old memories , your lovely missed persons and your missed childhood days

• Good but simple. • This is sort of the foundational 1970s/1980s "green" fragrance to me, the reference point. It doesn't add much or push hard in any direction relative to that scent profile. • Fresh/soapy opening that slightly shifts into a more masculine, leafy dry-down. • It smells distinctly pre-millennial, but it's way too clean to be "dad juice". It's distinctly from that middle era.

Bogart Signature is a classic masterpiece. Just a little bit sweet lemon at first, then cloves-levander-juniper and finally oakmoss, birch and a touch of leather. Manly for sure. All year around. Strong. Old time classic but quite different from other brands of 70s-80s. Perfect for a gentleman. I don't agree with the comparison to Denim Original. Way much better than Denim and smoother.

Gorgeous deep green refreshing and uplifting fougere fragrance. Potent! Tried this because shown as similar to Krizia which is not easy to obtain . Very happy as it is quite similar and this is a great alternative. The only note not crazy about is the nutmeg but it is understated and doesn't jump out of the blend. If you in the mood for green fragrance this is great and good longevity.

Well well...just bought this blind and I think it's FABULOUS. I get aldehydes and spices and herbs and its lasting power is very good. The dry-down is a beautiful soapy smell which reminds me of a blend of Photo and Versace L'Homme. I really love this charming masculine scent and it's shot straight to my no.1. To sum up, I think it's a retro masterpiece. 9/10 for me.

As for me this is nothing but just a copy of Guy Robert ́s Hermes Equipage. The old version smells to me like tie. Very medicinal, like in a hospital. That ́s what I like about Equipage. And exactly that ́s what I get from Bogart Signature Fragrance. It has a limited projection within your aura (signature fragrance). Staying power is ok. A good Hermes Equipage copy.

Fresh and dark at the same time. Inky darkness with freshness of a soapy fougere. You might think because its a Bogart fragrance, it'll be cheap and nasty but, it ain't. If you like those 70's & 80's masculine powerhouse style fragrances for example, Oscar De La Renta Pour Lui, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, you'll like this. A hairy chested, Pierce Brosnan in the 80's

WOW! One whiff is all it took for me to know this is my kind of scent: green, herbal, soapy, masculine. It's an excellent fougère that makes this barbershop fan very happy. BONUS: 3.0 ounce bottles are selling for just $18.49! While UNIQUE in nature, if you're like me and like these, you'll likely like Bogart: Paco Rabanne, Azzarro, Borsalino, and Basile Uomo.

It has been a decade since i first smelled it and fell in love with it. i recently bought a third bottle after a gap of about four years. And, even after so many perfumes, the old magic and charm of Bogart's signature perfume is still intact. The beauty of the perfume is that it doesn't change much through the dry down yet it lasts for well above 10 hours.

Just finally got around to getting me a bottle of this. On first spray I already view it as a masterpiece. It reminds me of something of a cross between Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and British Sterling. A glance at their notes confirms they do indeed have many similarities. I'll have to do another review after I get to use it a little.

sacredsystem says it well...it's a brother of good old paco rabanne, but with it's own typical features...if you ever had 'one man show', well that one is also noticeble in this one of course BUT this one is softer, greener,soapier, smoother, much better....mature scent for mature people (40+)...balls and character included.

If you are a real father, and by real father I mean a father of human children with a woman as their mother, it is your duty to wake up on Sunday morning, generously apply Bogart, and wash your car. Now, if you identify, let's say, with a more contemporary "masculinity" you can continue using your ice cream scented perfume.

This is a powerhouse of a scent. It reminds me a little of Carlos Corinto. Its a little zesty, fresh and has a vetiver feel. Very manly. Best thing about it is its lasting power. I put it on at 4AM and was still getting whiffs of it at 4PM and after being home at 8PM its still there. GREAT performance with this one.

For me this is a Timeless Classic, Barbershop feel, Pickled lemons and Greenness, resembles Brut by Faberge Except that Brut has a Lemon note not a sharp Pickled lemon note and without the Powderness of Brut But extra Mossy.. Nostalgic since most of us Born in the 80's have smelled it on Thier dads or grand dads..

I've been reading the description of this cologne and I'm convinced to buy it for the first time. I read that its strong and smells a lot like Paco Rabanne, which I also love and have been wearing that since the 90s. So, on that note, I'm gonna give it a try, I don't think I'm going to be disappointed..

What can I say, a real time machine in a bottle! Bogart Signature depicts an era long forgotten. It's a scent I would wear when going to a bar late in the evening or whenever I'd want to feel a bit more sophisticated. All you bubblegum loving boys better stay away from this, it's a scent for real men.

Masculinity in a bottle. This scent is incredible. I'm glad I didn't gave up on it, it was worth the wait. To my nose, in the middle between Paco Rabanne Pour Homme (1973) and Puig Quorum (1981). I'm certain the perfumer for Bogart knew PRPH and the perfumer for Quorum knew both PRPH and Bogart.

I’m a total sucker for retro classic fragrances, so had to grab this bad boy. Love the ultra masculine, mossy, woody notes. Definitely something for the man’s man. I do find it a little challenging to wear these days, but more mature men (50s up) could pull this off with style.

Oh well .. I think this may have been discontinued and the price gougers are loose... great scent but not 70 dollars worth for sure.. there is probably a ton of inventory out there. There are plenty of good substitutes that are reasonably close so don't pay up for this.

Bogart original is one of the most mature scent available,it has an uncompromising smoked leather and some green aroma fleeting around it,i wish it existed more products like this today in the market,i mean new releases with bulk like this one.Recommanded!

Green herbal smokey with a retained hint of animalistic notes. The opening reminded me of l homme by roger & gallet but bogart's longevity is superior. Leathery drydown. This is definitely for the mature crowd. My fav bogart frag along with Witness

i know it's almost a blasphemy, but i think this one is even better than the so much loved paco rabanne. well rounded, soft, almost cosy yet still very very strong and masculine. 7/10 soundtrack: michel legrand - the thomas crown affair ost.
