The grapefruit/bergamot opening is quite great and outshines the apple and mint top notes. The almost immediate strong lavender and orange blossom middle notes add harmony and accentuate the freshness of this cologne. The scent becomes loud and strong (as you would expect from Bogart) but keeps a refreshing ambience that will endure till the dry down. The fresh notes team along quite well with the patchouli, musk and guaiac base notes. - It does have a loud projection during the first hour, so be calm with the sprayer. If possible it's better to respray once every 2 hours to avoid a strong beginning. Sillage peaks at 4~5 feet till the end of the second hour. Expect to have a practical skin scent till the 7th/8th hour. That's how good longevity is with this freshie. It does have an above-average performance for a fresh cologne and performs even better on clothes! - It does not smell cheap. It smells alluring. Besides, Bogart marketeers did not need to call it F** Pure or some other similar name! The price is very good as usual with Bogart fragrances. unexpected fragrance for me , my #1 compliments getter and I'm shocked .. Strong citrusy minty mass appealing everyone had sniffed my whole collection , Silver Scent Pure wins and got the best fragrance in my collection , OMG people loving this so much young and mature , projecting and longevity are great , longevity is not the strongest one in the line but you know about summer fragrances if it stays 6-8 hours it is very strong .. Blind buy it if you like fresh white fragrances and its cheap , don't mind if it's synthetic , like come on normal people don't care at all if this fragrance is natural or synthetic , they just want to smell something gorgeous. I got Silver Scent Intense , deep and pure. For my opinion I like Deep the most but for the compliments , this one takes the throne..

There simply isn’t anything in this fragrance that can be found in nature. Forget the “notes”, it’s all aromatic hydrocarbon isomerics, benzene rings and radioactive isotopes in this one. But blessed be the unnatural genius of the sorcerer-chemists that work for Bogart, because this stuff is awesome! Sure, the compounds in this juice bombard your vital organs with gamma rays, but you’ll smell GREAT for the shortened duration or your life, and feel redeemed somewhat in that you spent very little money on the cause of your early demise. Silver Scent Pure has that Bogart Pour Homme DNA with the cherry tobacco accord replaced with some sort of undying fruity/fresh chemical agent that lasts forever. Love this stuff!!

LOVE!!’ Man, this blows the doors off alot of the stuff I own, honestly. Just got it and sprayed it and thought, wow that’s nice, then about five minutes later it blew me away! I love this juice!!! Don’t own any other silver scents, just this one, it’s topshelf so far in my book!! Seriously, I couldn’t wait to sniff this one again today, they knocked it out of the park with this one! All those tryhard niche brands should take notes!! Such tryhard fails alot of the time, trying to be so niche and different and just turning out to be the same recycled junk, only a few of them are up there. 18 bucks vs 400, haa, gotta laugh at myself a bit too for ever even buying into any hype on some niche bs, what a joke!

The fresh spicy citrus kick of this perfume would quite fill a room with its burst of floral notes sillage of about an arms length especially when applied correctly to the pulse points and not rubbing them to the skin. But as observed, at about an hour it quickly fades to its aromatic woody notes that would not last very long and would end up in its musky pachouli notes that would not last very long in hot weather but very good in cool weather 👍😍❄️ Can be perfectly layered with Bleu De Chanel EDP but not with Dior Sauvage Elixir or Paco Rabanne's 1 Million EDT🖐️🚫

Extremely juicy beast mode, slightly more natural smelling than the other silver scents, and a bit lighter, but still a heavy offering. Once again it's a burst of juices that last beast mode for 3 hours and begin to soften down. It's definitely worth it's meager price I paid at $22 shipped. I'd recommend all lovers of Bogart scents to try this out, and go 2 sprays to start. You'll get pleasant wafts throughout the day. Excellent scent, and a great addition to the Silver Scent line.

Yes DaedalusX I deffinately get polo Sport vibes. I have Polo Sport and smelled it right next to it and the similarity was striking. A tad more synthetic, but it lasts way longer and projects much further. I was showing everyone how good it smelled. The atomizer has a tenancy to move around and shoots out like a sneeze, but it's ok. Very powerful cologne. Scent 8.5/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 8.5/10 Price 9/10 Highly recomended

initial thoughts...its very much recognizable with original silver scent dna...but much more wearable, its good for summer and spring days.....lasting power seems effortless....great bang for buck with a beautiful bottle, sadly not found everywhere.im lucky :)

Continuing the Silver Scent line, which began in 2006 and had the Deep version as the last addition, in 2014, the brand of Jacques Bogart seems to have heard some complaints from the audience about the high power of projection of its perfumes and decided to create a fragrance more luminous and perfect for hot countries like mine (Brazil), where its products are very successful and have loyal consumers. Silver Scent Pure was launched in 2015 and features notes of green apple, grapefruit, bergamot and mint on the top of the olfactory pyramid. The body of the fragrance carries the notes of cardamom, nutmeg, lavender and Azahar flower, on a base of patchouli, musk and woods (Guaiac and Teak). I can say that, once again, the house has proven how to make a beautiful flanker without disrespecting the DNA of the pillar, keeping the loyalty of its buyers. The main difference between this version and the traditional one lives, precisely, in the output of the scent and in the way it modifies the evolution. If before, we used to feel a very strong orange blossom, since the beginning, making way for the spices and ending with the famous lychee smell that a lot of people say that resembles green grape, in Silver Scent Pure all this has been delayed a little by a more citrusy and refreshing exit, in which the green apple and the bergamot glow in a green-acidic explosion. Wow, I wasn't expecting this opening ... like eating a candied apple. I also can see the Kool Aid opening that others talk about. It's definitely a sweet, candied synthetic fruit opening ... but in a good way (mostly). I sprayed 6 sprays ... it's a pretty strong perfume but not quite beast mode ... lasted 8-10 hours. I have 84 perfumes in my collection and I have nothing that resembles this opening. I found it to be uniquely synthetic ... but very fresh and pleasant. To me, this candied apple opening never totally went away ... it just slightly faded and additional notes showed up. Such is the case with the slightly sweet minty floral that entered second. Others picked up spices ... I did not, but toward the drydown I got the subtle woody/musky side of the fragrance ... but still with a little bit of that sweet, candied apple smell. This fragrance definitely leans more toward younger people ... say maybe 40 and below but perfect for HS and college students. It seems more like a casual daytime scent ... maybe great for outdoors. I'm 68 and would give it a 6.5/10 for scent. As far as longevity goes ... an 8/10. Where can I imagine myself wearing this ... maybe to an outdoor concert in the park, a picnic ... or taking my young granddaughter to a matinee movie ... but not to work or to a professional function. Am I glad that I purchased it to add to my collection? ... YES ... because of its uniqueness compared to the rest of my collection. Oh, it's also sold at a real budget price.

Nice?...oh yes. Fresh?....uh-huh, yes. Long lasting/projecting......err yes - it's Bogart. Do I like it?.......yes it is good, very good but I'm not going to buy a full bottle of it. Why?......Well, initially I wanted to say that it reminded of Sauvage without the Ambroxan but no it isn't that at all. Actually, (and I will probably get some stick for this) on me, it smells like Davidoff Cool Water with amped up Citrus, Mint and green Apple. Fantastic, for a young man looking for something to draw some positive attention but if you're someone who has tried and enjoyed many of the run of the mill favourites over the years this one doesn't bring anything new and personally I prefer to buy fragrances that are different from what I have had before. A good blind buy choice for the summer?.....absolutely. I doubt anyone could dislike this one. Another accomplished flanker from Bogart.

Bought a 3.3 fl oz bottle for 20 USD. For a low budget cologne, this smells really good. The initial scents are fruity, grapefruit, green apple. After 10-15 minutes, I definitely get a scent of baby powder, fresh out the shower like. I was recommended this cologne by Youtuber Joyamin. This cologne strongly remind me of Playboy New York. The sweetness reminds me of almost bubble-gum like, but with more fruit up top. The delayed notes of lavender, and slight hint of musk gives me this soapy/powdery kind of sensation. This cologne is a projection beast. I would recommend you to watch a review video by joyamin on Youtube and he can explain you the kind of reaction this cologne can give to you. Definitely great for summer days, shorts, polo shirts, great for going out with friends, or going on a casual daytime date. More on the casual side.

Cheap every day crowd pleaser scent. out of my collection which ranges from 35NZD to 200NZD this one is probably the best value for money interms of performance, smell and longevity along with silver scent midnight. Lasts a good time and projects decently but not at the same level as midnight which lasts multiple days on clothes and projects insane. Smell is just a typical clean freshie thats mint foward on the opening. For $35NZD it makes a great weekend run-about scent or gym scent, girlfriend likes it too but not to the same extent as something like YSL Y edp or hugo boss infinite although those are 5-7x more expensive for similar performance for the same ML. Get this, get silver scent midnight and maybe look into silver scent infinite, didnt like the og silver scent too much.

Stronger, deeper and more nuanced version of Invictus. The whole Silver Scent line are pure gems in Australian youth culture, chances are you know someone who has used a fragrance in this line throughout their life, especially if they are teenagers. It's a great take on the bubblegum DNA we see common through the 2010s. I get about 8-10 hours performance with a moderate projection, for the price this stuff is seriously robust. Though let it be known that this can come across sickeningly sweet, it's the reason I don't reach for it often; it's youthful. If you like the mass appealing sweet fragrances then you can pick this up as a cheap freshie, especially as a gift for a teenager male or female.

A fairly beasty grapefruit/orange blossom combo. I have yet to try the other Silver Scent flankers, but if the complaint about those is that they're too sweet, cloying, synthetic, etc. then that is not present here. The grapefruit is a bit astringent-y in the opening, but the orange blossom balances it out in a smooth, somewhat creamy manner. I really like it. I find Silver Scent Pure to be somewhat linear. The performance, like most Bogarts, is excellent. Lasts over 8 hours easily with solid projection for the first 3-4. Definitely worth the $20 for me.

After comparing this to silver scent intense despite what people said I can’t smell any similarity. This is fresh, citrusy and aromatic. I don’t get the grape soda in either even though everyone else does🤣. It’s a bit potent and synthetic in the opening but the dry down is a nice citrus fresh scent. For 30 dollars aud you can’t go wrong if you need a fresh scent for everyday wear. Wouldn’t recommend for anything more then daily wear as it would fall short quality wise id imagine for any other event. Wouldn’t buy again but good to have

Nose Note #1128 Does noone else get the Invictus vibe? Definately in part inspired by Invictus, it has similar aquatic nature + some bubblegum sweetness. Let's say it's a mix between Sculptre Homme and Invictus, but more Invictus. I don't get that many of Sculptre/Reflection/MYSLF connections. I'm also getting subtle One Man Show undertones. Hard to describe it. It's sort of just meh, but pleasant. Performs well, but nothing crazy. 6.8/10

Very like Silver Scent original, except this is fresher and more citrus. It's nice and potent and is a very pleasing sweet, fresh, fruity and spicy perfume. At least it's potent enough - not like some more expensive perfumes I've bought. This Bogart has a strength of an Eau de Parfum easily. It lasts all day *Update* this stuff is addictive and the bottle is solid and well made.

This is a very potent juice! It has that usual Silver Scent DNA which is that grape smack to the nose but this has a more fresh citrus smell to it. It's a good fragrance once it settles down after about an hour and after that it's pretty decent. One negative I have to add is that it might remind you of laundry soap in the opening. I give this a 8.1/10

For the price this is fantastic... Has the siver scent DNA subtly in there but much more fresh... i got a little hint of eros type fragrance in it...not saying it smells like it but something similar... Not a powerhouse like the original... but maybe thats a good thing... worth its money for sure

Lovely citrusy, minty, aromatic fragrance, after an hour or so orange, musk and woody notes are more prominent and mint and lavender notes slowly fade away. Blind bought and will buy again, a great fresh summer scent for $17. Stays for 4+ hours. Scent 8/10 Sillage 7/10 Longevity 7/10 Value 8/10

Pretty close to the original silver scent actually. Enjoyable but mostly enough like the other that purchasing it is needless. Since my Silver Scent ran out which I did enjoy, I'll use this gleefuly. Yeah, it's grape soda all right. No invictus or dunhill likenesses like suggested above.

Batch 23E06, may 2023. Beast mode for sure, but I can't smell any citrus. I always found funny how so many mix up grapefruit and grapes when describing the SS family. To me it smells identical to the original Silver Scent. Perfect for a teen for flexing their powerful scent at school.

I found out something strange about this perfume. when you smell it from a distance of 50 Cm It's so pleasant fresh and bueatifully complex perfume. But I recommend not to try to smell it in closer than 10 cm distance because in that distance it smell so synthetic like paint thinner.

Silver Scent Pure is great for warmer weather but can still be a lil overpowering if applied too much. A maximum of 2 sprays will do nicely. This one has the familiar Silver Scent grapefruit note but with a healthy dose of mint. Great longevity and projection.

Silver scent pure is a good summer fragrance at an affordable price. Yes its true, it is extremley synthetic smelling almost like a lab experiment, but its a lab experiment gone right. 8/10

This one is made in the same Parisian factory as the Ted Lapidus frags. And that's the first thing that comes to my mind when I smell this Jacques Bogart. It's exactly in between Ted Lapidus Homme and Ted Lapidus Altamir. Absolutely the same DNA and aroma chemicals. Silver Line Pure starts a bit fresher but I can detect no fresh grapefruit, bergamot or green apple. And that is a bit of a disappointment for me. There is almost no citrus or fresh fruit at all, the freshness comes from the mint note that is actually rather pleasant. The synthetic orange blossom is the same as in Altamir. After the opening this one has also the same powderyness. I don't think this is a bad fragrance but I expected something fresh and citrusy. There is a cheap shower gel vibe going on and I don't mind that at all. This is an easy grab when you want to smell shower gel fresh and a bit powdery. The ambroxan sweetness in the final drow down is not bad but very generic. There is nothing special about this good performing cheapy and if you have Altamir and Lapidus Pour Homme than this is an unnecessary buy. The above mentioned notes are a bit of a laugh, there is no citrus, no wood and nothing green or fresh. I like the bottle a lot. Looks great in the bathroom.

Scent: The scent is great and very fresh and uplifting. It's citrus heavy and even sweet and creamy. If you like these types of Scents, then this one is for you. I personally find this fragrance to be the summer version of the Silver Scent Line. This fragrance also is very, very similar to Cool Water Intense, however CWI has way better performance. Performance: This is where Silver Scent Pure disappointed me. The fragrance is very mild and tamed. I hear that people used to rave about the performance of the Silver Scent Line, including this one, but that's a thing of the past. I've tried 4 Silver Scent fragrances and 3 out of those 4 disappointed me when it came to the performance. They have been heavily reformulated. Silver Scent Infinite Silver is the only one that didn't disappointed me because it's pretty strong. That one hasn't been reformulated yet, probably because it's one of their newer releases. Anyhow, I can no longer recommend the Silver Scent Line if you're looking for performance. If you just want a gym scent or a dumb reach for everyday errands, then this one is for you. Seasons: Straight up summer and spring scent. Great for warmer days.

Had this a little while and didn't get around to wearing until today. In a nutshell a very good, though synthetic summer cheapie! I paid about $20 for the 100ml so excellent value. Firstly I must say Jacques Bogart offers incredible value in terms of longevity. This one is no different. Been wearing for 7hrs and still potent. It opens with a synthetic blast of citrus, neroli and mint freshness and then later I get a mixture of sweetness which has the DNA of both Silver Scent intense and Bogart Pour Homme, think bubble gummy, cherry tonka, grape juice sort of thing. There's also an accord in there which reminds me of scented pencil erasers. It's definitely synthetic and potent and some might say it has a fresh bathroom cleaner vibe on initial opening but as it settles, it smells, bright, clean and sweet. I like it, for the price it's a winner. Also just to add, go easy on the trigger or else you will taste it!

Nice. A kind of apple grape flower opening, which dries down a bit more musky powdery but still stays fresh. Nice spring fragrance, synthetic as hell but who cares; smells fresh, not cloying, and gives a fresh cloud around you which is almost subconscious instead of overwhelming. edit; compared to some other Bogarts performance is quite weaker than others. Same as Pour Homme, this seems reformulated/watered down. It fades to a skin scent to quick to match earlier experiences mentioned here of monster performance. And all Bogarts smell terribly synthetic and cheap...you get what you pay for. Too bad their best, Furyo, was discontinued...probably too expensive to produce in current business policy...
