JF9 Green

I'm surprised nobody has given this frag a review, I got this as a gift and honestly didn't like it at first, at all. The reason being was because back in the day I didn't really have that open mind to various fragrances and I just based y judgement upon inicial spray, which in this case is strong and totally in your face, it's sharp and has that synthetic vibe, however, if you're willing to give it a few minutes to settle down it becomes quite pleasant. I get a mix of orange with lemon of the top, some patchouli with a touch of wood and incense give it that dark background. the develpoment is rather linear and overall the performance and sillage are moderate with 3 or 4 sprays, again this is not a bad fragrance so I don't see myself disliking it beyond that sharp inicial spray. I could probably appreciate this a little more if it wasn't so hot where I live. The bottle is very tacky but it's a cheapie so you can't really complain. Smell: 6/10 (not very original but not bad either) sillage: 6/10 Projection 7/10 (for the first 1-3 hours about half arms lenth) Longevity: 8/10 (about 7-8 hours on skin) To round it all up this is a decent performer for the fresher time of the year and is straight out a fragrance that is everything but youthful that so you can imagine this kind of scent profile rocking in the 70s and 80s, unfortunately many ladies may find this off due to the trend of today's preference leaning towards sweet and fresh scents.

I had this. It's close to both Carlo Corinto Classic and Halston Z14. I don't love it, it's extremely synthetic just like all Jafras. Here in Mexico most people buy this, i think they shouldn't. This is mediocre.
