I discovered a killer blend with this fragrance and with Escada Magnetism.It's so unique and interesting makes everyone around you ask you what are you wearing. If it lingers around it's so nice,pleasant and elegant but as you get closer it kinda gets more synthetic but in a good way,sweeter and sweeter and a whole fucking lot more sexy. Ratio for the blend is 1x1.Perfect for the type of guys who like all the women to adore them.Projection about 2 hours,performance about 8-9. Perfect extreme beast mode "get all the girls" mode is 2x Magnetism behind each ear,3x Jaguar Classic Gold over it,1x Magnetism and Gold on the neck.Be careful with this one,very strong in the first 1 hour. Incredible cheap blind buy.Perfect for Spring and Fall,all types of events,night parties,a night at refined club or a restaurant.Good for medium temperature,good indoor and outdoor,a lot of sweet vanilla with a little bit of Eros's apple and a little bit of citrus,smells a lot more expensive than it is.Age 18+,overall great frag and with Magnetism,it's just incredible.

This is one of the most underrated frags I've encountered. The reviews make it seem so mid but this is one of my most complimented frags. Strong apple pie vibe, very present gourmand apple and vanilla notes. I've never smelled PdM Layton, but I can understand why it would be popular based on this scent. Please note that Jaguar Gold is very sweet, but to me it remains masculine. I'd also say it's somewhat versatile. Performance for my bottle is beastmode, so I'm surprised by the ratings. Projects really hard in warm weather. The opening is powerful, some reviewers say synthetic but I disagree - it's just strong. I actually find the scent to be rather linear and unchanging from the opening, but it's not a bad thing. The one thing that sucks is the bottle. I didn't really understand the other reviewers until it arrived, but the gold rim detaches from the bottle and it feels very flimsy. It's the only thing I dislike about this frag. It's a solid recommendation from me, especially since it can be found for cheap online.

Jaguar Gold — personal take Personally, I love this one. Nothing feels loud or sharp — everything sits together in a balanced, easy way. For winters especially, this works beautifully. On my skin, performance is actually quite solid. If I apply it around 6 pm, I can still catch traces the next morning. Projection stays noticeable for about 2–3 hours, and overall longevity is around 8 hours for me. Of course, it also depends on skin hydration and grooming, but it performs better than many people claim. This isn’t a “must-buy” recommendation because there are flashier or more hyped options at the price. But if you enjoy a well-rounded, slightly musky-sweet, classic gentleman scent that doesn’t lean too fresh, too sweet, or too heavy — this does everything in a very decent way. A calm, balanced fragrance I genuinely enjoy wearing. A solid 8.5 under 30Bucks (2000-2500 INR)

OMFG YES, YES, YES! Fragrantica reviews got me to buy this. And it's amazing. Smells like a fresh apple pie. Simply amazing. Please disregard the snobs. Smh, it smells great last seven hours plus and sillage is a foot or two ahead of me after four hours of wearing this scent. Man the tonka bean, granny smith apple, and vanilla is; a warm crowd pleaser & inviting.s I love turning heads on a crowded train. "Excuse me, but you smell really good, what are you wearing?" I love hearing that, it brightens my day. I've gotten two so far today NYC 02/08/2017 I think it's 38 degrees. I love sweet scents check my favorites out on my shelf. It must last long, have great sillage and smell great. And this hit's all three. Bonus it cost about $13 for a 3.4 Oz bottle. Must buy! A*men just got a run for its money. And I love both. My review:Buy it!--that said,this was a blind buy based on reviews here;and this is a home-run! not a grand-slam but a solid home run! Keywords: Mature(35+),successful,dapper,a lot of style for a slight price! A too good to be true,but it's true moment! J.C.G. would be what Don Draper of Mad Men would wear,something handsome but not exotic.Not disappointed in the least,I will agree with other reviews the scent is not challenging or unique,but it is special in it's own right. It reminds me of a fragrance that could have come from Boss in the 80's at a fraction of the price.There are worse ways to spend $20 bucks,and I do mean spend vs waste.The scent is a firm 9/10. the longevity is another 9/10 for me as well! All around well-crafted is the highest compliment I can muster,I'm gonna love wearing this come Spring! It smells gilted as well!

Blind buy after the reviews in here. What a lovely frag! Starting from the bottle to the magical juice in it it's one of the best I've ever had. Opening is very strong, lime, bergamot&patchouli. After drydown I get mostly vanilla, lime, bergamot and apple. Musk keeps it in proper balance. Sillage is moderate. Of course, on the opening it's heavy as hell, my friend could smell it in the other room, but after 20 minutes it calms down and gives you this warm feeling I really like in fragrances. It was totaly worth buying and I'm telling it's worth a try for all of you non believers. Price 5/5 - ( 17$ for 100ml at discount store ) Flacon 4/5 - looks great, but bottle cap is hard to remove Fragrance 4/5 - it's great, but it's not gonna make it to hall of fame Sillage 4/5 - it's perfect Longevity 4/5 - just what you expect Overall 4.5/5

This is my second review of this Jag frag. I've had a leftover in a bottle of less than 10ml, it was a month ago and it was warm but windy. This is a top fragrance in it's price range. around 6 hours easily on my skin, couple of days on my jacket. Sillage - not a room filler, but opening is a killer. After half an hour it stays within arm lenght, leaves a little tail behind. I've got multiple compliments, even from guys. It was not rude or obnoxious, the scent danced in the wind and people were curious of this vanilla/apple/bergamot mix in the air. In my last review I gave it 4.5/5 overall considering what you get for what price. I am not changing my opinion, it is still a 4.5/5, a beast from Jaguar that is worth to have in your collection, just to shock people, that ''Car company'' has a really good one in their garage.

This is a great fragrence. I think some people might be disappointed because it starts off pretty fresh with citrus and apple, but quickly develops into a sweet vanilla. I think this is super versatile because it's freshness makes it great for warmer weather, and the sweetness is not heavy or cloying like other sweet DNAs. Still the warm, slightly woody, vanilla makes for a nice cold weather scent as well. The longevity and sillage are not amazing but really good for it's price and better than some more expensive ones. Id say it becomes a skin scent after around 4 hours, but stays on the skin way longer. Imo this is a very inoffensive, crowd pleasing scent. If you wanna smell a little fresh, a little sweet, and a little masculine, but not too much of either, this is a great pic.

Solid fragrance, especially given the price, I like it alot! It really smells like eating a citrusy vanilla pie in the woods with the dirty wood kinda smell. I would say it is better for colder seasons, but I reckon it is very versatile overall all things considered, especially with the citrus, then vanilla and woods, it is very well balanced. I got this fairly early in my fragrance journey and I wore this heaps in winter because it was the most suitable out of all my fragrances at the time, but I still reached for it even going into the warmer seasons. Best Season: Autumn, Price: Amazing value, Longevity and Silliage: Solid, Bottle Design: Pretty good, plastic can feel a bit cheap, but the cap feels good and sort of heavy, and the designs on it is solid, Overall: 7.5/10

Great fragrance. The opening is a bit loud & harsh to my nose, I dont love it. But after the opening fades and you start to get the drydown, that is when this one shines. Longevity is great. First I was wondering about the reviews that are telling this fragrance has great longevity. I didnt get that great. But the truth is, atomizer on this bottle gives a very light spray. So I use a couple of sprays where I'd normally use one with a heavier sprayer, and I do get 8+ hours without a disturbingly loud projection. I am seeing this more of a daytime fragrance, not so much night time. Safe for office wear. Scent 9/10 - inoffensive, but masculine (drydown) Longevity 9/10 - just note the light sprayer Price 10/10 - cheap, great scent, great longevity

I love this scent. In another review someone mentioned that Jaguar Classic Gold is very similar to Al Haramain Detour Noir which is a clone of PdM Layton. A few weeks ago, I got my DN, and right away I decided to compare the two. I sprayed Jaguar Gold on my right arm and Detour Noir on my left. I was surprised by how much they are similar. After 7 hours they both were still projecting. For the first half hour they were very close like 80% or more, but in the drydown JCG stays linear all the way to the end while AHDN gets a little spicy and woodsy. They are both long lasting and projecting heavily for the first 3 to 4 hours. So, if DN is a dupe of Layton then JCG could be an alternative to Layton too.

Classic Gold is very powerful and sweet. It reminds of sweet champagne smell, strong and sharp citrus upon opening then it settles down to a sweet vanilla fruity apple and patchouli with a bitter bergamot. Would not call it a citrus fragrance, it is more of a sweet aromatic. Would not recommend to wear it in summer, choked on it in summer heat, way to strong and powerful, and very bitter sweet. It last very long, all day actually, with huge projection, and it stays on clothes until it is washed. Reminds a little of Hugo Boss Bottled Intense, but mostly it has this same synthetic fruity vibe in the dry-down of Erba Pura by Sospiro.

I picked this up for @$10 and if you like fruity vanilla then it's great. I do like vanilla and the green apple and citrus combine to make a sweet but still leaning masculine scent. The wood and musk keep it from being too sweet but I think this could potentially be unisex. This was a blind buy based on reviews and I'm quite happy with it. I'm pretty sure I saw a review(s) that mention apple pie and I think that's just about spot on. It's so ridiculously inexpensive for such a great scent. Something about Jaguar Gold is very warm and comfortable. Insanely great fragrance at it's price.

Wonderful fruity vanilla woody musk that has enormous sillage and last quite a long time too! And when you understand who manufactured this fragrance it's no surprise that it has so much quality at such a low price. It was made by Lalique, who are also responsible for amazing cheapies like Encre Noir and Encre Noir Sport. This fragrance is a much, MUCH better performing version of a fragrance I absolutely loved as a teenager, Candies for men. This one is just so much more mature and eloquent than Candies for men was. And did I mention that it's an amazing performer?👍

I gifted this perfume to my brother and he very much loved it! Wow this is wonderful after a couple of somewhat disappointed blind buys – I was not going to take the risk on this one so I went to a shop and luckily this one could be tested and I was immediately blown away – nice citrus, apple opening – a dry down in something more patchouli - vanilla – this left a immediately impressive - price was also impressive, under €20/100ml-3.4oz. The bottle is somewhat crap – glass with a plastic side molding in gold – but ok you don’t buy a scent for its bottle

Jaguar Gold is a wonderful perfume that is confident even if it competes with expensive niche perfumes. After passing through the top note reminiscent of high-end sparkling champagne, the vanilla musk scent gives off a bright white feeling. If you buy this perfume and spray it right away, you may not like it more than you think. After spraying a few times, leave the bottle in a dark, cool place for a month or two and forget about it. Then again Spray it on and it will smell really good...

I have to say... I am not usually a fan of point blank fruity sweet scents, and in fact, at looking this over in ingredients listed I thought I may never buy it, especially when i have Dunhill desire for man red. Yep... I can see the resemblance and basically have the same ingredients. I love DHDFAMR but this Jaguar Classic Gold is even better to me, both in performance and elegant execution. It has a fantastic follow your nose aura.

Ok. Cheap blind buy. First sniff I was less than impressed. It smells just like Polo Red or Thallium. As it wears however something comes into play that is wonderful. I know there's no incense in here but, you get that vibe. I have wore it three times now and I like it more each time I wear it! It is better than Red and Thallium in my opinion. I'm surprised to say I love this stuff. But I do!

This is the best $20 I have spent in a long time. Smells great and has above average performance. Perfect fall scent. I get a faint note in it that reminds me of an ashtray but not in a gross way. Anyone know what that is that I am smelling? Teakwood? UPDATE-Looking at the notes I wonder if it is actually the Patchouli I am smelling? Sort of like damp soil more than an ashtray.
