Jaguar Excellence

This review is for the Excellence Intense EDP (not listed) This is really gorgeous. It's presented in a high quality and very pleasing bottle and box too. The smell is a warm amber and fruity vanilla/toffee with florals. The opening is similar to Fan Di Fendi Homme, the dry down is very like Roma Uomo by Laura Biagotti or WOW by Joop. Longevity for EDP is very good and projection is good too. Excellence Intense has a nice creamy character to it and you would think it costs twice the price. Another quality Jaguar, I haven't had a poor one yet and this is excellent value. Update.....I am getting a gorgeous smooth mellow silage wafting up from this - really lovely.

I bought the Excellence Intense, the longevity on this is good 6+ hours on me. When you get this it is nice quality bottle and is embossed in Metallic silver. The juice is like nothing I have in my collection. On me It starts off sweet peppery citrus and as it dries down the Iris seems dominate but more like the lip stick kind of smell than powdery. After about 30 minutes you get the amber/vanilla but some of the sweetness is calmed down by the cedar. Silage is also descent while it is not a beast you will get noticed. Fragrantica needs to give this one it’s own page, this is the one you should buy!

The intense version is much better than the regular excellence. The darker juice inside the bulky heavy bottle makes it even more powerful. This doesn't smell like 1 million, so different...it's probably like a full bodied sweet whiskey or rum except it's not drinkable. I have to admire this version better than the vision or classic. Two thumbs up

Excellence Jaguar for men is a grate one from jaguar the grapefruit and mandarin combined with pink pepper & amber and tonka really makes a grate performance along with good Longevity & Sillage with a good bottle desigen so it makes the equation perfect at the end & let's not forget the reasonable price. P.S. im talking a bout the EDP.

Do not think it looks like One Million. Only, it should be the same olfactory family. You may remember a little, but is much less cloying, less sweet and more exotic. Excellent, as every Jaguar. Fixing and silage, great.

An engaging soothing scent,one you want to wear on your skin when a lover is close. Safe and leisurely scent for most occasions,a good scent to wear when you want to smell handsome and confident!

stick one mill...this shits beast o matic..afterall it is a jaguar...and it smells brownn,..caramelly coffee vanilla slap upside your face...excellent and underapreciated

Bought for my husband and it smells wonderful! Warm and a little spicy makes you want to lean in for a deeper inhale. Very masculine

The Best From Jaguar It's like 1Millon from Paco Rabbane but Excellence less sweet and more wearable. My Rating: 9/10

I like this, better than most of the other ones like vision and the classic. And it's EDP too... Must have!

This is a pretty good fragrance, I picked this up as I was intrigued in what a fragrance branded by Jaguar would have to offer. I own the EDT and the Excellence Intense EDP. The intense version is definitely better, it has a bit of anise spice that gives it some liveliness. Both are very similar though, being smooth, vanilla, powdery floral-dominated fragrances. There’s honestly nothing all too special about it, it’s just a very modest fragrance that simple, classy, and light. The performance is okay, it projects fine but doesn’t last long on my skin. The EDP is hardly any better, but I wouldn’t say it’s bad. A big complaint I have about this fragrance is the atomizer and bottle quality. The atomizer is one of the worst I’ve ever used. Like horrendously bad. Also the top chrome plastic part came off of the cap which makes it really annoying to use. Overall, I would recommend picking this up if you don’t already own anything in this kind of scent family, as it’s cheap and a safe blind buy. If you can get the intense version then get that one instead, but be aware it’s slightly hard to find. I had to buy it second-hand for $50 (not worth it for that price imo) because no shops sell it. There is an amazon listing for the intense but I had 2 unsuccessful attempts with different sellers where I got sent the regular version and told that they don’t actually carry the intense, so I assume it’s either discontinued or nobody bothers to sell it.

I can't say Excellence is the best from jaguar but I must this is one of the best from jaguar I really liked it. Its not extraordinary but it is a good one... I do get the similarity with 1 million but only in the mid notes top is different base is different and even in the middle it is not that loud it is soft close to skin opens with fruity/citrusy accords and dries down with something vanillic which reminds me a lot of discontinued fragrance Avon Intrigue... Bottle and box is simply awesome and let me tell u this review is for EDP version... Longevity is good but projection is weak.. 7 out of 10...

Take Paco Rabanne 1 Million and add some florals like the Iris and Orange Blossom and you have Jaguar Excellence. This is a great fragrance to own and I would say this is a good blind buy if you like fragrances on the sweeter side. The bottle is a very nice glass with a little bit of heft. I really like glass bottles for fragrances. I'm interested in trying others from Jaguar after being pleased with this. This is a very nice fragrance for the price! Rating- 88/100

Eau de parfum review: This is a nice mix of amber, vanilla, orange blossom and iris which gives off a subtly smooth vibe. For the price this is worth a try. Make sure you get Excellence Intense eau de parfum version.

I'm not all that much for amber scents at least based on what I smelled so far but this one is nice and balanced, soft and round. indeed an excellent scent well worth the money.

The one word I would use to describe this frag is WEAK! It smells great but everything disappears almost instantly, on my skin and the air. On my skin the top notes smell great but towards the middle it smells very synthetic like a cheap car freshener. At least I didn't spend much at all on this. I will either give this away or use this as a car freshener. P.S. The atomizer is really bad!

Smells amazing. However, it has zero longevity - at least on my skin. That's a real disappointment as the scent is brilliant. Vanilla, amber, leather - very refined. But it had completely disappeared after about 20 minutes. I'm tempted to try a different stockist/batch as others seem to tell a different tale in their reviews. But my test (both wrists and inner elbow) simply didn't stick.

This review is for Jaguar Excellence Eau de PARFUM! I have to admit, when I saw this fragrance (and I mean the EDP version) online for around 20€ I jumped at it, considering that it coudn't be that bad. I said to myself, that even if it wouldn't be that strong, it's stil a EDP and since winter is coming, I could use another sweeter scent. I wanted something sweet and I got it... unfortunately, I get it only for around 10 minutes. It opens with a could of sweetness, a nice mix of tonka beans and vanilla. But it fades away that quickly, that you can't tell a lot more about it. It dries down after approx. 2-3 minutes and I could tell there was some orange or orange blossom there, but I wasn't sure. Overall: longevity: several hours sillage: a lot (according to my colleagues at work) The fragrance (I refuse to call it parfum) is for a very good reason cheap... because it is a cheap fragrance. It's not my cup of tea.

Have you ever stepped on a stinkbug? This fragrance should be called Essence Of Stinkbug. First time I sprayed it I thought I stepped on a pile of stinkbugs. Worst fragrance I have ever purchased (Blind bought based on reviews). The price was $11 for a 3.4oz tester so I figured I had nothing to lose. I was wrong. I would feel bad selling this to someone else. Please do yourself a favor and test this one out before you make a purchase. You can thank me later. For the guys who do love or like this one, please take no offense to my review. Im just being honest. Not my cup of tea (or stinkbug).

In all honesty, I do not understand why this one is liked so much...I feel a little bit cheated...top notes remind me of joop homme but in a very synthetic way, a bit of 1 million as well but also in a very synthetic way and i even smell some synthetic le male in the dry down...no this one is a really bad cheapo imo...miles behind Jaguar for men (or even Performance by Jaguar)...both are cheaper and much better !
