Sultan Rose

Since I’m the only person to review so far it’s a beautiful scent if you’re a fan of rose ouds this is in that category I would say its a bit sweeter as compared to rose exposed by Tom ford but I love it still.

I have all of these Coty Middle Eastern inspired fragrances and I like them all a lot. This one is my least favorite of the bunch, but that's not to say that it isn't an excellent fragrance! To my nose this is a very dry, unsweet rose and peony fragrance, while I personally tend to enjoy deep jammy, sweet, and vanillic rose fragrances. It also has a bit of an olive note that I pick up, and I'm not sure which ingredient it's from? Let me paint you a picture: It's a very dry, hot day in the Mediterranean and you are walking down a sunny road near the sea. There are beautiful peonies and rose bushes growing everywhere nearby, and you can smell them in the air. You can also smell some wood from the occasional trees that dot the landscape, but it's subtle. Someone in a villa has cooked something with spices earlier in the day and they linger just slightly on the warm breeze. The wind shifts and you get a faint whiff of incense from nearby church. You can smell just a hint of the fresh green olives growing in a grove down the road. This is the best way that I know how to describe what I personally get when I smell this fragrance. I do think that it's truly unisex. It doesn't seem part masculine or feminine, but rather universal. It's nice and I do like it, but out of all of the fragrances from this line, I'm the least likely to reach for this. The others are addicting, while this one is just very pleasant. I like to sniff it, but I rarely put it on due to its rather unsweet and arid nature. If you like a dry, subtle rose with some interesting facets, then this might be perfect for you! I'm currently looking for the perfect fragrance or lotion to layer it with to give it some sweetness without ruining the beautiful and rather unusual scent profile.

Coming as second. Usually I don't find the beauty in affordable priced fragances but this one is really special. It worth the price completely and that type of fragance that you don't get bored from. I highly recommend it for those who like a good oriental rose fragance and don't get scared from incense, oud... and a rose of course. ;)
