An elegant, slightly sweet, slightly green, ylang, lotv, and rose scent with a soft powdery dry down. There's a pinch of underlying spiciness and what smells like a soft amber in the base. Very sedate and womanly with subtle silage and above average longevity. It is really lovely and a joy to wear!

I managed to get a mini on e-bay last spring. There is no sign of anything synthetic in this perfume, just a nice clean scent of flowers, like the one in an old-fashioned garden. Use it sparingly because it is quite strong at the beginning and in a small room it can easily be a bit overwhelming. It is probably best for spring and summer. A beautiful fragrance.

The obvious scent is light and floral, but there is a dryness that is almost like the pleasant smell of an old book. This makes for an almost 'white wine' quality.

this is a review for the 60 ml cologne. ombre d'or is all about the beautiful heady ylang ylang and cool, crisp lily of the valley. dirty yet pure. for the first time i worn this little gem in truly cold weather and i can finally detect the soft fluffy rose, wich turns ombre d'or slighty sweeter then im used to. on me this juice stays close to the skin but it lingers for hours and hours. exactly how i like it. the few notes in ombre d'or becomes a lovely mix of fresh air, budding flowers and spice, wich feels very luxurious and very vintage.

A fresh and watery rose, the one you can smell in most rose soaps, with just the right amount of lily of the valley, very uncomplicated fresh and green floral.
