Apollo2113's Words are enough to really pinpoint this fragrance, though it has a ton of character for its price! Compared to what others have said, this actually suction cups onto lighter fabric color clothing and sticks out all day, at least for myself. Jean Marc Paris definitely earned a new follower/fan after this blind buy. JMP Homme Noir is a standout from a brand you'd never expect it from. Sure, very basic, spicy, warm, and florally scent, but a dumb reach. It just works, and it does its job better than a lot of others with similar DNA that try and steal your attention. When I first ran into this in Ross, the box was already opened and had been sprayed once. So, I did the same as one would, sprayed a bit on my wrist and thought on it before a purchase. JMP Homme Noir, is one, that will steal you away. If you're a fan of stuff like YSL MYSLF or YSL La Nuit de l'Homme. The best way to describe this is simply, this has a very similar vibe and scent to YSL MYSLF and YSL La Nuit de l'Homme. Though the tonka bean on this is a walloper. For some reason, on my sample, the tonka bean smells spicier than most have described. Almost more like a cinnamon tonka bean mix. I see a lot calling it an every day fragrance. Though if you're like me, suffer with anxiety while trying to chill or calm down, this scent does the trick somehow. It's just smooth, and the florals are nice and pleasant, causing you to feel more clean. Everything about this mix is clean. I have other fragrances that try to emulate a similar DNA or scent profile, though often one note completely overrides another, causing it to feel messy. Homme Noir is just beautifully crafted for its price. Clothing is where this fragrance will live and last the longest. It's also very overspray friendly. More sprays, more longevity in my testing. I've gotten about 6-7 hours peak from it. If clean, warm, and something nice is what your aim is, pick it up. $10 for me and Ross. Great to compliment another fragrance, great buy all around!

Picked up for 25 bucks at a local shoppers. Great deal and would definitely recommend for the price. My girlfriend really likes this one (although I have bad boy cobalt elixir which she prefers) but for 25 bucks its worth it everyday.

This stuff is actually really good. Semi sweet and fresh. The homme extreme is amazing aswell..its like Versace Man Eau fraiche but stronger

This is an actually one of the first fragrances I bought before I even started collecting, ironically I worked at Marshalls and got it for than $8 on my second bottle now. Scent: I smell a lil bit of everything off rip the citrus notes but still sweet, stays sweet and a lil aromatic in the middle with lavender, O blossom, honey and musk gelling together. Then leads to smooth tobacco based mixed in with the tonka bean. Overall it’s a sweet, smooth, fresh musky scent. Longevity: I believe it’s an EDT so probably lasting between 4-6 hours on most but I get at least 5 hours easy with another two has a skin scent Projection gonna be arms length but when people are close they will smell it on you, usually get asked what im wearing or I smell good when I walk past someone or getting into a car for an example. You can find this at places like TJMaxx or Marshalls as I stated before for like $20. It’s a cheapie but i wouldn’t say it truly comes off as one. I think it’s best for fall/winter, late night, a date or even to bed lol. I give it 7.1/10 with all things considered and the fragrances I have in my collection, go snag one for the low!

Im new to fragrances but it smells like its good for warmer weather, maybe even slightly cooler months like autumn. Its sweet and floral on the stop and settles into a soft, clean spice. Just a hint of powder. Very solid blind buy, I picked mine up at ross for 12 dollars. It definitely punches above its weight and very good for the money. I was smelling this alongside Azzaro Chrome and Nautica Voyage and this one didn't smell as metallic or powdery as the other two. Overall, not a "holy cow!" fragrance but its definitely worth picking up for a scent you can throw on confidently on regular occurrences anf not have to worry about how much you use.

This is underrated - longevity is poor but the smell is awesome. Last around 4-5 hours max probably but the smell is a little bit of citrus with the honey and vanilla dry down which is very nice. Smooth. If you can get it for cheap I’d give it a try!

For nighttime flexing, Homme Noir + Initio Side Effect will turn heads and leave an impression.

Longevity isn’t there with this one. Some people say it’s 5-6 hours on skin but for me it’s at most 2-3 hours before it’s completely gone. Opens up citrus and floral on my skin then dries down to a nice and sweet musk due to the tonka bean. Perfect for starting your day at work or going out to the grocery store or for dinner. I just wish it lasted way longer than it does on my skin. Still a good fragrance though.

There's nothing special or unique about Homme Noir, but it's an inexpensive dumb reach frag that always smells good and suits any occasion. It's not a dark smell, rather a pretty generic, spicy musk. It dries down to something similar to YSL La Nuit de L'Homme. You won't offend anyone with this, and you'll always smell good. Longevity is about 5 hours, but 8+ hours with overspraying. Thumbs up.
