i made an account just to write this review. i'm not really sure what kind of perfumes i like especially because a lot of perfumes dry weird on me, so i was really skeptical about buying this at the store especially after reading reviews, but i did. oh my lord i don't regret it at all. it's sweet and slightly floral, but not sharp, there's a creaminess to it, it has texture but it isn't confusing. there's a bit of a kick which elevates the elegance to something more sexy, but it's not dark. it's actually so addicting that i keep smelling my own wrist haha. and it lasts, it's strong, but not cloying. worth the money edit: im sorry this lasts FOREVER. literally stays on for more than 12 hours and after showering i can still smell the sweetness of the base notes. i feel SO diva when i wear this, professional, sexy but also cute, all at the same time. femininity in a bottle. love this perfume so much!

I got this today, and it’s a mega LOVE!!! I’m a huge fan of JPG, especially the Divine line, and have had my eyes on this flanker for months. Unfortunately, no store near me had it to sniff- so, I pulled the trigger and did a ‘blind buy’- despite the polarizing reviews. I do NOT understand the hate on this, at all! At first spray, I thought ‘ugh, just another floral’. But less than a moment later, it developed into a GORGEOUS, almost watery, semi fruity scent! It definitely has *some* of the original Divine DNA, but it’s less cloying and far cleaner, IMO. It almost gives watermelon in a strange way? I definitely don’t get the pine notes that some folks mentioned. This is a gorgeous, fresh scent suitable for spring and summer!!!

BOLD AF! This is SO good, but woah this is SO STRONG. Nothing like the other DIVINE's - maybe a TINY smidge of a similarity in the dry down, but this is super citrus, and floral. Berries, ylang, and lots of creamy florals. SUPER bold. This is a compliment getter for sure. Eternal lasting power and BOLD silage. The lasting power was a bit overwhelming. I like the smell, so I don't mind, but WOW, I had washed my hands several times, and even showered, and smelled this still. SO if you like a strong and bold floral with a citrusey sweetness, this is one of the best in a while. I cannot compare this to anything, as even in my large collection,n it does not remind me of anything.

I don't know WHY I'm so obsessed with this but I am. I have been back to the store to try it maybe 4 times and each time I'm blown away. The notes make no sense to me, I have no idea what I'm smelling, but I love it anyways. It's pink, it's creamy, it's a LITTLE powdery. It has that sort of tinge to it that noble blush/good girl blush/Delina exclusif share, but in a way that's not overpowered. I don't know why this isn't more popular, I want to shout about it from the rooftops. I can't explain it, but just try it.

literally my bf fell in love with me again after this fragrance. i was trying to choose between la belle garden paradise and the og divine then this popped out on my page all of a sudden and i blind bought it. actually the meringue note is what makes this original? thats why there’s 50/50 chance either you love it or you wanna throw it. thats the summary of jpg divine series.

You have to love sweet and fruity fragrances, the bread and butter of JPG scents. You have to love solar scents to love this as well.... Quentin Bisch's fingerprints are all over this creation. Personally, i adore his JPG creations. I love this scent for the summer. It makes me feel like I'm in the tropics somewhere!

I’m not sure why this is getting so much hate. It’s fresh, not too sweet and very wearable. Are we just hating on Quentin? Or is there something in this that gives it the Power of You quality, where some can smell BO and some don’t? Are some people smelling something in this that others aren’t? For me it’s a love!

Wow! Just received Divine Couture 1 oz on Feb. 2026 directly from JPG website. What a mesmerizing, strong beauty she is. Two sprays resonate all through the room, so I'd suggest, go easy at first! Fruity, fresh, sun-tastic; what a masterful flanker from Gaultier. I think I'll need a bigger bottle soon!

I love the original Divine, but I was afraid to purchase Couture because of the reviews . So I just bought a travel size. However, I love it! It’s Divine with a little more sweetness and floral. Larger bottle in my future.

Wow. There are varied reviews on here. Yikes! For me, I love this scent. It’s like a raspberry tart dessert that becomes airy as it settles. I love the Divine line and JPG. There’s not much more than I can say...I love it.

Ooh!!! Okay. I really appreciate this fruitier version. Very nice. The citrus is not strong well blended. I don't usually like citrus in perfume. But this is miced well with the raspberry and floral solar notes. Very nice

It is juicy and delicious. Less dense than Divina and unfortunatelly stunning. Still a bit of a diva but oh so good. I want it. The bottle with the perfected corset is great. Just a wrist test.

Just tested this less than an hour ago at my local pharmacy, and it already has me in the chokehold. Help! 😭😭😍😍 The raspberry note is so beautiful.

The dry down smells like a wooden sauna with a birch whisk on me and it’s actually cool 😄 Never smelled this scent not in the actual sauna 🧖

Snells like divine mixed with either delina or good girl blush. I like it!

Sweet, fruity, citrusy, yellow floral, aromatic, woody, fresh spicy, warm, amber, fresh, aldehydic, vibrant, radiant, feminine, sensual, seductive, sophisticated, classy, charming, delightful, alluring, tempting, addictive , intriguing, inviting, cozy, comforting, unique I really enjoy JPG fragrances, so when I heard about Divine Couture I just couldn’t wait to get it! The raspberry, meringue, and amber notes that they advertised sounded amazing! It’s actually quite different from what I was expecting, but I do still really like it! I definitely get the raspberry and amber, but the meringue and vanilla are more subtle. I also get a good dose of citrusy notes along with geranium and pelagoram which reads almond rose-like. It’s also woody and aromatic thanks to the pine tree and benzoin. I don’t own any of the other perfumes from the Divine line, although I do have a sample of Divine Le Parfum, which I don’t find similar to Divine Couture. I also own Classique (OG lace corset bottle), Classique Pin Up, Classique X, La Belle, La Belle Flower Edition, and now Divine Couture. It’s actually quite unique, and I can’t say that I’ve ever really smelled anything like it before. I wouldn’t consider it to be a safe blind buy though. It’s definitely a keeper for me though! To me this feels feminine, and suitable for women of any age. I think it’s most fitting during the spring and summer, but also probably early fall too. I think it’s most fitting works for almost any occasion from casual to fancy. I get excellent performance with Divine Couture. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the entire day, and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is strong, it radiates out at least a few feet from me. This was a pleasant surprise! It’s more sexy than I expected. The opening is really tart with the raspberry and then after some time the meringue joins in and makes it more textured. I can also smell the solar notes and they help keep it light. Because of them the sweetness doesn’t get overwhelming. It’s a sensual fragrance but not night sexy. It’s more sunset, lazy afternoon sexy. More relaxed sexy than femme fatale if you know what I mean. I really like it. It has enough personality to be memorable but it’s not over the top. My favorite from this line until now.

Fruity is my first impression. The citrus and berry smells make this a scent I will be drawn to in the summer months. It's sweet but the pine elevates this to a fresher place. It's feminine but not in an obvious way. To my nose, it's not niche, but it is an easy to wear designer scent I was missing in my collection.

This is what I wanted CH La Bomba to be. She was suffocating where JPG Divine Couture was fresh and airy. I smell raspberries and salty breeze at first, then tropical fruit and meringue whiffs, which remain until drydown. The drydown lasts even after showering and the day after. Definitely going on my wishlist 😊🩷

Lowkey stank I’ll be real but there’s something about it that’s likable enough. The thing that throws me off is the raspberry first spray but it starts to blend but as I’m writing this it’s turning into bug spray. The point is, don’t blind buy 😂😂😂 and get your nose on it for yourself

This is really nice - Divine with extra sweet berries. Performance is good and it emanates for a good while - 3 hours on me. I don’t love it enough to buy a bottle, but I’ve enjoyed the samples.

I got over 1k perfumes in my collection yet this Is the first and only which makes me wanna vomit straight away. Sorry to say it, but this smells like fresh vomit. 🤢🤮

Unfortunately, this fragrance was a disappointment for me. I was so impressed by the beauty of the bottle that I even considered buying it without trying it first. Fortunately, I had the chance to test it beforehand. First of all, I should mention that the fragrance has a rather complex structure and the notes are blended well. Combinations like this either leave a strong impression on me or simply aren’t my thing. In this case, it was the latter. In the opening, I get sharp citruses accompanied by a subtle raspberry note that adds a light touch of fruitiness without being particularly prominent. This was actually my favorite part of the fragrance. After a short while, pine and geranium become much more noticeable on my skin, giving the fragrance a distinctly green and aromatic feel. I also notice a subtle salty, marine-like nuance that adds an airy freshness to the composition. I don’t really pick up the warm, creamy character that I usually associate with ylang-ylang. As the fragrance moves into the drydown, I can detect the lightly sweet, powdery, and airy facets of the vanilla and meringue, but the fragrance maintains its aromatic character throughout. The scent left on my clothes reminds me of the smell of deodorant lingering in a closed room. In short, this fragrance wasn’t for me. The longevity and projection are quite strong, but I would still recommend trying it before buying.

At first spray, it opens with a vivid burst of raspberry. Over time, though, the composition shifts: the raspberry is joined by a strikingly fresh, salty, distinctly marine facet. Ylang-ylang then comes forward, gradually gaining strength, making Divine Couture a distinctly exotic perfume. The opening is pleasant, thanks to that luminous raspberry note, but the marine-salty-sweet accord ultimately becomes, predictably for me, rather cloying over time (I very rarely tolerate marine fragrances on my own skin). Still, worth exploring if this kind of composition appeals to you.

Divine with sweeter fruity twist. As a straight male, I put it on back of knees as it permeates slowly. I then layer some "blue" frags on wrist/neck. The result is slightly sweet/fruity scent after blue ones dry down --- not recommended to sprits on knees if you are wearing shorts as this is a very potent frag - I use Miss Dior EDP when wearing shorts

What on earth is that? :-). I am sorry but this is the most generic gaultier perfume so far, soft fruity floral, generic, no specific notes nor some impression it can leave, at least on me. What to say, not much...

This has Divine DNA, but does not smell as good on me nor does it last as long as Divine EDP. Fruity smell is not as "jammy" as Scandal EDP or La Belle EDP. For me it's more powdery.

Very berry! This would be better for teens or young adults, still pretty but not for me. I think the florals and pine just gets overpowered by the raspberry.

I usually don’t like sweet perfumes but I can tolerate this one. I got a full size bottle when I tried it.

I folded and ordered a 50ml bottle from Boots, as they’ve had 20% off on it and a 6ml sample was added as a gift. This is NOT my scent at all. Far, far away from the Divine profile, should’ve made a whole new line for this one. I own all other Divine flankers and I love every single one equally but this.. this is an abomination. The only fragrance coming to mind that smells suspiciously similar to Couture is Paco Rabanne Olympéa Blossom and I didn’t like that one either 🤣 I can’t really smell raspberry at all, it’s a floral punch with added solar notes, no meringue either. If someone’s into that they will probably enjoy it. But it’s not unique, you can find lots of similar scents on the market. Too bad they didn’t just go for adding a raspberry note to the original mix, then it would deserve all the praise. For me Couture is just basic. The more I smell my skin where I sprayed it the more it reminds me a bath soak, oh god this is so bad 😭 As much as I wanted to have all the flankers I will be returning this one.

The opening reminds me of artificial raspberries drenched in a sweet lemonade accord. Right from the start, this fragrance is loud and attention-grabbing. Unfortunately, several synthetic facets stand out throughout the composition. The geranium is particularly strong and ends up overpowering the scent, breaking its harmony😩 For me, it lacks the grace and refinement that would make it truly special. This is also the type of fragrance that’s deceptively easy to overspray...what feels like a reasonable amount can quickly turn into a scent cloud around you

I really reeeally wanted to like it because the bottle is absolutely stunning. I love Quentin Bisch and JPG bottles and fragrances. But there’s something weird about this fragrance and I can’t figure out what is it that bothers me... so sad 😞

I was so excited to try this perfume, but it is awful. It literally smells like sour alcohol. It has no sweetness like the original Divine. I am so happy that I don’t blind bought it. Save your money

That nasty geranium takes over everything and makes it harsh.

I need to preface by saying I am a huge fan of JPG fragrances, I adore the Divine line, but this is truly awful. I’ve never had a fragrance make me gag before, but now I guess here we are? 🤷♀️ Firstly, I didn’t detect any of the citrus or raspberry, it was a pure resinous, salty BOMB. Two sprays to the back of the hand nearly choked me out when I drove home in my car with the windows up. At least it’s potent, like the rest of its sisters and cousins... The part I truly can’t get past is how thick and unappealing wearing this fragrance feels, there would be no occasion in which I’d think to reach for this. The dry down doesn’t even feel feminine anymore.

At first I was okay with the smell but then it started to smell a little bit disturbing, i cannot explain in words but like a very old and dirty skin smell, maybe? I tested it on my skin multiple times, result is the same. My friend also tried, that smell appeared fastly on her. It was a no for me, not safe for blind buy you should definitely try it before buying

This smells like a restroom at the mall: a cheap obtrusive air freshener trying to mask up other smells. Awful throughout.

I like the older Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances, and on the other hand, I fell in love with a very “ordinary” designer scent, Armani’s Power of You, for quite a long time. For a moment, that made me imagine that Gaultier could have created a truly good fruity fragrance as well, especially since raspberry is one of my favorite berry notes. I don’t actively test new designer releases anymore, because the end result is almost always disappointing. Divine Couture was exactly that - it came right after my experience with Power of You and lost me very quickly. It feels like an unfinished part of a fragrance, as if the rest of the composition had simply been forgotten. There’s nothing charming, admirable, or addictive about it. The tart raspberry is noticeable, but poorly executed. It is neither realistic nor artistically abstract, unlike, for example, Thierry Mugler’s discontinued Eau Sucrée, which achieved a more imaginative interpretation. Here, the scent is sweet, but that is the only clearly distinguishable facet beyond a meringue-like accord. Overall, it comes across as slightly harsh and noticeably synthetic - which is often the case with raspberry accords - but here it feels particularly flat and uninspired. It is also short-lived and has very poor projection. I don't have any idea from where people get these notes: there is nothing citrusy here, nor Vanilla, Amber, Coumarin or florals. And Pine Tree? Excuse me? My original review of Thierry Mugler Angel Eau Sucrée, just because it's everything I wished for Divine Couture: I’ve mentioned before that I’ve never been a fan of flankers, but after reading about this one (Angel Eau Sucrée) for a while, I had to get it. I was initially excited about Gaultier’s latest release, Gaultier Divine Couture , yet I had a feeling it wouldn’t quite suit my taste despite its notes - and Eau Sucrée turned out to be exactly what I had hoped Divine Couture would be. It's nothing like this genius flanker. What is Eau Sucrée like? It’s like sweet powdered sugar sprinkled over caramelized raspberries - a dessert so beautifully crafted and arranged that you can’t help but want to touch it. Every note feels carefully composed: the whole fragrance is soft and gentle. At times, it reminds me of melted cotton candy blended with raspberry juice. Occasionally, a lactonic nuance drifts through the air, like raspberry milk with melted meringues. The fruity accord is captivating - neither fully realistic nor unpleasantly synthetic. Despite its intense sweetness, the scent remains charming. While it doesn’t resemble the original Angel, it carries that same mysterious, addictive quality found in so many older Thierry Mugler creations. It also performs well, lingering on the skin and projecting beautifully. Eau Sucrée feels almost magical: it exists in that surreal gourmand space Mugler mastered - where the scent isn’t a literal dessert, yet evokes the same emotional response. Whoa. ⚠️ I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this is the one that should have been named “Terrible”! I have a LOT of JPG’s f/all the lines. I blind buy them old lady gangsta style (for the old lady air miles of course😭), usually w/zero fear. I was just in MX & often grab a flanker @the Dufry’s because $’s are lower. I read the reviews & this one made me pause. And you probably should too. There were no testers so I looked to hubby for emotional support, said, “YOLO”, & plopped down the coin. I didn’t open it for 3 days I was so nervous. And you probably should be too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Let’s Go: 1st spray: Oh my “blankety blank blank cheese & rice! How did it get in my mouth!?” 2nd spray: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is this?!! 3rd Spray: There wasn’t one. I have seasonal grass allergies. It makes it hard to breathe, sinuses plug up & it can be difficult to smell well. This cut straight thru them, flipped me upside down, & water boarded me w/Herbal Essence Shampoo ‘07 mixed w/chlorinated pool water, kefir w/ dead raspberries floating on top, & then, as an afterthought it tossed a handful of pine needles at me as it walked away scary laughing at me like an entity out of a horror movie. I’m (almost..that’s rare) speechless. I love the can, the packaging, the bottle, the corset & color, & the juice. Please explain to me what is happening here?! Tacos & Q. Bisch creations are my love languages! I’m so confused. 😭 I was hopeful this would be old school calone like the pioneeress Aramis New West for Her, good old Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers , Calvin Klein Escape-esque at best... or Davidoff whatever mixed w/CK Reveal at worse. Worse. So. Much. Worse-ness. I too wear what I enjoy. But when it comes to a polarizing scent like this, I’ll ask a trusted friend to please tell the me the truth in love. The only 'couture' about it is the exact smell of a strong hairspray applied to keep an 'extravagant' hair style steady. It could be the calone from the middle notes? Others get it as something strange or as a toilet refresher and I am not accusing them. I had the same reaction with Miss Dior Essence. Women always feel good after leaving a hair saloon, so this edition could trigger the feeling: Good hair day, I am preppy. I was expecting to smell Divine with the mesmerizing meringue/aquatic magnolia, plus some raspberries. I was wrong but let's keep this between us, only the original and Le parfum are quite similar and kind of innovative. The Elixir and Couture editions aren't that Divine. If you get a whiff of Divine Couture in the air is kind of interesting but it's done before so many times. I get the citrus opening, I can detect the raspberry too (more ripe than sweet), I know rose is missing but the geranium gives this effect and with some fantasy the original Divine is hidden somewhere in the mix. That synthetic-ness kills the vibe but honestly is a well blended perfume. Ideally for someone mature enough who could rock it and appreciate it. P.S: On the JPG's official site it's written that not even Le male can resist to Couture Divine...Hmm..funny.

So I was like oh crap this is gotta be a fake website right?? and everything about it looks real it says jeanpaulgaultier.com and I’m looking and I’m looking cause I’m like I know that price is not correct well they spelled it wrong!! They added an extra letter i !!! jeanpaulgaultiier.com!! Ugh 😩 Be very very careful when you THINK you’re on the designers sites!! I was really surprised that scam artists well their page was listed ABOVE the authentic Gailutlier site! 😢 🤯 I’ve not been intrigued to buy a new designer fragrance in quite a while! I re up on my signatures like alien fusion when I see a bottle online.. and occasionally buy a niche or designer sample? But I somehow landed on here and I’m INTRIGUED!! This sounds lovely!! 😊 I’m really digging some herbal aromatic etc notes... I use to despise the smell of pine! 🌲 our middle school teachers wore too much in the 8os!! Ha but now?? I wanted to love this so bad, it smells so good but there's a stink to it that just stands out too much for me, like a mix of bug, bug spray and somehow mouth? Thats my best try to explain this. I don't see anyone else mentioning this, I don't have complicated pH, perfumes don't tend to smell bad on me ever, this is my first time Like its good but it has that little something that makes it be nauseating for me. I tried it on store, straight up on my skin and I almost went to wash it away but I decided not to, to see if the bad smell went away, my boyfriend said that it smelled like a limited edition bug spray To explain it better, if you have ever smelled Thank U Next, thats kinda how this is to me, the scent itself is good but it has that SOMETHING that makes it smell bad, but if you ignore the something then its really good If we ignore the SOMETHING tho, it has amazing longevity, its 9:30am rn, I sprayed it at 11:30am yesterday and I can still smell it on my hand, the bad smell isn't there anymore but it took a whole day to go away lol

Couture debuts in a way that makes you think it has nothing in common with its predecessors in the Divine line. I think it's the geranium-pine pair that you feel strongly in the first part of the evolution of the perfume and which seems to lead it in the direction of unisex. However, the respective accord gradually sinks into the sea of sweet-fruity notes and the perfume becomes clearly feminine. At the base, surprise, the DNA of the original makes its appearance, mixing very well with the rest of the composition, so it fully deserves its classification as a flanker of the Divine pillar. Gaultier proves once again that he doesn't give up being creative, that he doesn't give a damn (as we say) when he launches something, even if it's just a flanker. Bravo mister, keep it up!!!

this was a win for me. i have the original and like that one too. maybe this is for warmer weather and the original edp is for colder weather. raspberry is usually not good on my skin. it turns metallic. but this couture one does not do that. it smells refreshing and has ok lasting power. i think it projects too. usually jpg’s fragrances are good for lasting and projecting. the bottle is really nice. i just bought mine 2 days ago and it already has a dent in it. it’s just so invigorating initially and makes my mouth water. i like this one better than the other divines. well, now i know some raspberries are ok. so glad i smelled this at sephora and immediately bought it. it will be my casual spring summer mostly daytime scent.
