Gaultier Divine

Quentin Bisch simply doesn't miss! I've discovered this fragrance while on a long walk with a friend. Whenever we were on a narrow street and she had to walk in front of me, the scent trail she left behind would amaze me: sweet, slightly powdery, with a very unique, subtle aquatic saltiness to it. Honestly, this description doesn't do it justice. Only after smelling it yourself can you really appreciate Divine's astonishing quality. It's so refined, the notes are so well blended that it's kind of difficult to name them individually. One thing is certain: it's gorgeous. Truly one of a kind. Meringue + calypsone? Brilliant! And you know what else is brilliant about this fragrance? The performance. My friend had only sprayed a bit on her jacket, at, what, 7 in the morning? And her scent bubble was still very much present at around 4 pm. Don't get me wrong, it's not an obnoxiously strong fragrance. It's got exactly the right intensity for it to be perceivable and enjoyable for multiple hours, while not disturbing anybody. Adequate for any season, any occasion. Obviously, the perfume addict that I am, I had to get my hands on a bottle for my own personal enjoyment. And it did not disappoint! Divine truly smells... divine!

First time I smelled this in Sephora, I wasn't impressed much. I thought oh just another white floral designer fragrance. But some got on my skin and I fell in love. I adore JPG fragrances out of all designer brands so I gave this fragrance another chance and noticed the delicate sweet meringue note, most notable for me at least. The lily and jasmine notes are very noticeable still, but personally I don't smell any bergamot or red berries. The preformance is astonishing for such a soft feminine type of fragrance. It lasts the whole day and sometimes I smell it the next morning as well. From my experience the scent doesn't evolve much after drying down, it's just less floral and more on the sweet side, but nothing that would give you headache, like I mentioned it is very elegant and delicate. What vibe does it give off for me? I find this fragrance to be my winter signature, as I smell something cold and clean like snow (my guess is due to the sweet meringue combined with white florals, but it's not so warm like sweet vanilla fragrances), I close my eyes and see myself with this frangrance in a fancy bar while it is snowing outside during a cold December/January night, maybe celebrating the New Year's Eve.

This fragrance caught my attention at first sniff. To my nose it was something that I have already met with but with a difference. It immediately reminded me of old batch of Alien, so alluring and magical scent. But the difference would be that I would wear Alien all year around and JPG Divine to me would be a statement summer scent. It's very solar,alluring,uplifting with a huge projection. At first it's quite strong but like an hour or so when it settles down it's so intoxicating with summer vibe. I was looking for a long time for a new summer scent(as I usually stick to fig or fleur d oranger notes scents-mostly for summer), and I came across this beauty. I cannot catch most of the listed notes, which is quite strange, I can smell coconut which is not listed? Or it's on my skin maybe. But it sets perfectly to me. Not for a blind buy. I would advise to try it first and to see how it sits on a skin before buying. As said previously,I got a totally different vibe from this perfume. From me is 10/10.

Elimde çok fazla parfüm var ama bu hiç birine hiçbir şeye benzemiyor. Çok farklı çok karizmatik çok seksi çok çekici bir koku. Eşim kokuyu duyar duymaz hayran kaldığını söyledi. Yayılımı ve kalıcılığı mükemmel. 9 saatin sonunda tenimde hala kokusunu alabiliyorum. Şu an bunu yazarken üstüme bu parfümü giydim ve aşk yaşıyorum. Lütfen denemeden almayın herkese hitap etmez. Çünkü çok yönlü bir koku tatlılık ferahlık tuzluluk herşey var bunda ama gelişigüzel değil. Quentin yine yapmış yapacağını. Harikasın tam bir divine !

This perfume blew me away the moment I smelled it. My sister used a sample vial I had of it and I caught a whiff and was mesmerized! Asked for it for Christmas (2025) and she got me a bottle and I have never loved a perfume this much in a long time. So creamy. Elegant. Tropical 🍹🍍🏝️ Sprayed it on and smelled it all day long! Woke up the next day and my sister said she smelled it as if I’d just sprayed it! Can’t wait til the weather warms up because I feel like that’s when this perfume will blossom even more! Pairing this with a body lotion like B&BW Sunshine Mimosa or Bahamas will be a certified success and staple for me this spring/summer. Definitely a perfume for a baddie. **Where the people below me got their bottles I have no idea because how in the world this perfume gets the hate they are spewing out makes me very suspicious that theirs came from Shreks swamp and/or they are just not baddies and can’t handle smelling as such**

I don't know what happened. When I first smelled this and tested it on my skin I couldn't get enough of it. I thought it smelled similar to Olympea (which I LOVE). Then when I got a full bottle of this as a gift and started to wear it I started to get headaches, and I NEVER got a headache before induced by a fragrance. It's a shame because the scent is still really pretty and I disagree with the people saying it smells like eggs (nothing about this is 'eggy') but I do get a weird smell coming through the longer I wear it, kind of like dirt. Maybe it's the patchouli but I usually love patchouli. I'll give it more time to shape my final opinion on it, maybe the headaches will eventually go away so I can appreciate it better. Edit: headaches are gone, I take it all back and this is addictive and incredible

It took me a long time to finally test this. Almost blind bought it but was very cautious due to the many people talking about it smelling like eggs. Well, thankfully I’m blessed with a skin that doesn’t go that way although I can totally understand it. Maybe the combo of calypsone + meringue + ylang can be a little too much for some, but on me it’s so fancy, sweet but not nauseating sweet. It’s super wealthy, beautiful, feminine, divine. This sample will definitely turn into a full bottle and I need the three of them. Not sure if I would endure this on extremely hot weather, but on spring it will definitely shine, though I believe it’s during fall and winter that it will give its best on my skin. As always, my love Quentin Bisch, did not disappoint me.

This fragrance is an odd one for me, but I love it. I despise the opening. Everything else i LOVE. I Atested this when I had covid, and oddly enough I fell in love with it then. Skip to 5 months later when I decided to wear it in the summer, and the opening made me cringe. But once it settled, I couldn't stop smelling myself and I loved it. I catch the odd whiff of this from my seat belt in the fall and I am reminded how I love the drydown. Give this one a chance. It's a salty, fruity, beachy mess in the opening but the drydown is beautiful. Enough so that I own a 100ml bottle and I'll re-buy when it's empty. Spray 30 minutes before you want to smell amazing (in public) and let the compliments roll!

This is a gorgeous summer scent. The initial spray is creamy, beachy, sunscreen with hints of vanilla, sea spray, and smooth molten gold (yes, it’s a tiny bit salty/metallic - but somehow that’s not off-putting). Then the melon and berries come through, adding a sweetness that is at the same time both aquatic/watery and syrupy. As it settles the florals emerge; lily and muted jasmine. Meringue and musk to end. I don’t normally get excited about sunscreen scents, but this one is true perfection, a real masterpiece. Just the thing for a hot summer day; detectable without being overpowering, and still sexy and alluring enough to wear into the evening. Fabulous stuff, I can’t wait to buy a full bottle.

I read so many reviews saying it smells like eggs. Been sniffing so hard, trying to get the eggy smell. I swear, I couldn't get it. All I could smell was floral. Gorgeous opening, sweet and floral. Dry down is floral and sweet. For someone who hates musk, I do find the musk in this perfume is acceptable, not suffocating. Maybe it's been toned down with the meringue. It's well blended. And I don't smell the patchouli. After an hour, it's just sweet musk. Sometimes can be cloying, depending on my mood. Don't over spray. If you love sweet floral perfumes, you'll love it. I will get a full bottle of this. Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 6 hours + Rating: 9/10 (9 because sometimes it can be too cloying)

Ooh, this literally IS divine!!! A lady walked into my restaurant, and I smelled her from afar... I was intoxicated, and *had* to know what she was wearing! She said JPG Divine; I hadn’t heard of it, so I quickly looked it up on here and, yup, the notes matched precisely what I was smelling!!! I ordered it that day!!! Definitely watermelon; but also sea and water; both of which are grounded in a very unusual, unique way that’s hard to describe. It’s like an ambery gold-ish, rich sort of scent but not cloying?! It’s glorious!!! The only other scent that reminds me of this in a weird way is Halloween- which is an absolutely BRILLIANT perfume! It’s also super cheap and i highly recommend it!!!

My coworkers know when I walk into a room before they see me because they can smell me when I wear this perfume. There is not a single perfume that I have ever worn that has gotten me more compliments than this one, regardless of the age of who is around me. The scent is over powering but not in a bad way, just sort of a way that "mogs" all the other fragrances around them. It is definitely on the pricier side but I would argue for it due to its extreme longevity and unique scent. Do be careful if you have a sensitive partner or people around you because too much can definitely be headache inducing. I love how this fragrance makes me feel. It is confidence and conversation in a bottle.

This is an excellent sweet, musky tropical scent. I live in Mississippi and I've noticed that the heat & humidity tend to really bring out the individual notes. However, the patchouli note is very, very subtle, which I was rather disappointed by. I think a more prominent patchouli note would add a lush depth to this fragrance that its currently missing. I usually wear Alien Goddess Intense by Mugler in fall & winter, and I wanted something suitable for spring & summer that was in the same scent family, or at least close to it. Gaultier Divine fits the bill perfectly. Also, the visual aesthetics of the packaging are absolutely beautiful. So feminine and sexy.

Absolute perfection in a bottle! I started out with a miniature of Gaultier Divine, and it didn't take long for me to realize I needed the full size. I bought a bottle just a couple of days ago and I’ve already made a huge dent in it, I cannot stop spraying this! The opening with the lily and jasmine is absolutely gorgeous, but the real magic happens later. The musk in the dry down makes this so incredibly sexy and sensual. It is a literal eyes-roll-back, toes-curl kind of scent experience every single time I smell it. To top it off, the bottle design is breathtaking and fits the juice perfectly. JPG absolutely nailed it with this one.

I might be crazy, but I smell pear and tuberose. The "watermelon" like for me is more like a sweet fresh pear. I couldn't remember this having tuberose in the notes listed, but that is all I can smell (I know the elixir has tuberose, but this is the OG). Actually this to me smells very similar to My Way from Armani. In the dry down I don't smell any meringue. When I first tried it I got a horrible headache, and then I tried La Belle and got a terrible headache, but now I have tried both again and I am fine. I think I was just having a couple of bad days, also I kept violently sniffing my arm 😅 I am glad I gave it one more chance.

A salty herbal vanilla concoction, it's like trampling over patchouli and grass whilst by the ocean, eating a vanilla cake (Cue DNCE Cake By The Ocean song). A really unique scent, it's herbal, it's salty, it's sweet. Some may find it's briny herbal scent a bit fishy like salt and seaweed, but I love that quality, weirdly it reminds me a bit of Womanity, which has that salty caviar note and that green fig scent. Gotta admit it's gonna be a really polarizing scent due to what I am getting scent wise, but at least it's not another Saccharine Gourmand, sugar overloaded fragrance. 8/10

Olalaaa.....this is literally liquid gold in a bottle! I love this scent from the first breath.... It is a scent full of opposites and therefore perfect...saltiness combines with the sweetness of meringue in harmony with white flowers, musk, patchouli , spices.....this oriental floral gourmand is so seductive, strong, long-lasting and sensual...simply Divine! The scent makes a perfect match with the bottle. I was literally shocked by how many compliments I received on Divine, from both men and women! We just clicked:-). 🔥❤️ Love it!

This lifts my spirits, makes me smile, reminds me of the 1970s disco era — and smells really good — all at once. Plus I love the bottle and packaging. The disco era, for me, meant dancing with gorgeous Cuban guys (they were the ones who bothered to learn the dances and do them well) at university in Florida, wearing pretty dresses, and enjoying life. Not sure why this makes me think of those times, but who cares. It does. It’s a very pretty scent, and a perfume that lifts one’s spirits is well worth enjoying.

Bright, fresh, marine melon (whatever that is😅) My mum says it smells like eucalyptus on me, and now I can’t unsmell it 😬 Predominantly a summer fragrance. This is such an uplifting ‘happy’ fragrance, I can see myself wearing it in the dead of winter to cheer myself up a bit. The sillage and longevity is amazing. It lasts several hours on me, and usually I go nose blind to even strong fragrance very quickly, but I will get wafts of it all day. I can’t decide whether I prefer this or the elixir.

Such a lovely fragrance, i think its very versatile and perfect for spring and summer. I can smell the calypsone, the berry notes, the flowers and meringue notes. Its aquatic, clean and salty at the same time, very femenine. I don't think this is as offensive fragance but i recommend to test it first before buy it. Projects very well and lasts on clothes for days after wear. Beautiful work done by JPG! its now one of my favs perfumes!. my husband loves this fragance on me!.

Y'all be out here lying.. This perfume is AMAZING!! Yes it's true the meringue is more overpowering than the white florals in this fragrance and the marine notes but you people seriously cant be complaining when it smells THIS GOOD. I went with my boyfriend to buy him a perfume and I was so close to buying this for myself than something for him TL;DR: Some of you people on this site are way too critical and picky for designer perfumes sometimes, this is beautiful. Period!

This is such an unusual profile, probably the most interesting I’ve tried so far. I don’t know if I’m picking up many of the notes listed...to me it’s reminiscent of walking in a field of sun-dried grass and wildflowers on a warm day. I smell the fragrant grass, the sweetness of flowers, and some wild thyme or sage. I can almost smell the breeze that’s stirring all this into a warm-yet-fresh, nostalgic blend. A piece of my childhood in a bottle - incredible.

This perfume is magical. It brings me almost to tears every time I wear it. On first spray it's a bit heavy, bergamont and slight watermelon, I also get some very creamy vanilla though it's not in the notes. It dries into a smooth aquatic floral that my boyfriend loves. The sillage is a bit crazy, two sprays and it will fill up a car and might give someone a bit of a headache, so be careful! A very fashionable woman in Milan wearing silk and fur in a cafe.

This is my new fav perfume, I was suprised by how many people stopped me in the street to ask me what perfume I had on- that did not happen since the original ysl libre! The divine smell is fresh yet warm! I smell calypsone the most in it which is strange since I vould not imagine that scent to be so popular lol. I urge you to try it out, 4 of my coworkers got this perfume bc they smelled it on me lol so it must be good

This is probably one of my most favorite perfumes and anytime I walk into a Sephora and smell it I just feel so happy lol. I haven’t worn it in a while because it brings me strong feelings of nostalgia and reminds me of the time when I first purchased it, but both the longevity and the sillage of this fragrance are literally top notch. It’s one of the strongest perfumes I own, it’s really incredible. Highly recommend

The scent is as flirty as its packaging. It's super sweet—I immediately smell the meringue, then my favorite (as I've already discovered) jasmine. And then, for me, a certain freshness really comes through—according to Fragrantica, it's a calypsone note. What's most interesting is that the sillage and longevity is not bad.It lasts all day, and even after a bath, there's a slight "fragrance" lingering.

Actually I bought this bottle by accident; I wanted to order Dolce&Gabbana's Devotion but this one was despatched. I am not disappointed because it's a strong like. I agree with the fact it's sinthetic scent, I can't put a finger to particular note but on the other hand, it's sweet salty fragrance I can wear in cold weather and also I can put it on to go to the beach.

When I'm tired of smelling other perfumes at the store, I always run to Divine and cling to her leg like my mom at a mall. This smells like soft golds, not too sweet and not too rich. The fruitiness is great for warm weather, but this could easily be a signature or year-round scent. This fragrance doesn't feel like it has anything to prove

It's like eating the perfect slice of watermelon in a seaside garden. Threw this on for the hell of it before hitting up McDonald's, and the lady at the window complimented me and asked me what perfume it was. You don't need to douse yourself in it for it to last for hours and project well either, it works like a proper perfume should.

DIVINE. definitely the best perfume I own and one of the best I ever smelled. Lasts forever!!!!! Even after showers. I get compliments wherever I go, even when I’m far away from people they always smell me and compliment the scent. It’s sooooooo good!!!!!! Never smelled anything like it before. It’s just heavenly !!!!!!

This perfume is beautiful. It smells so yummy and sexy. It’s not like the wave of gourmands we have seen the last years but it’s still fun and fruity and sweet. It’s similar to balmain Destin but less shampoo-Ish and more warm than DESTIN. Love it just wish I got a bigger bottle because I will finish this one quickly.

Having had a try at smelling her within a store and all I wanted to do was to be stuck to her just smelling her forever! It's so good the only thought that came to my mind when having its smell would be that it reminded me a lot of lemonade. She was real difficult to let go off definitely will be saving up for her!

It smells lika a expensive vacation, like exotic island. Lots of salt, marine note, that beautifull lilly 😍 and it grows on me so beautifull. I am officially in love. But one thing..why it wasn't released sooner? We have mid august...it should be available in june, before summer time

I absolutely adore this perfume. It is Divine !! Strong, unique, complex and my favorite JPG (Since MaDame). Fresh aquatic in the most unique way but yet almost gourmand. It definitely smells like a prestige scent. Great sillage and long lasting. 10/10 !!

Beautiful summer floral. This one is reminiscent of the 90’s. White floral, amber, aquatic melon in the background, think escape by Calvin Klein or Wings by Georgio Beverly Hills. Lasting power is similar to vintage perfume too. Highly recommend.

Smells really good. Sweet and feminine. I really get the Lily and berry notes. I could wear this daily. I don’t think it’s too over powering, although I am writing this review based off a dip stick sample so could be different with the spray.

I dont know why people are not talking about it here in reviews. Its such a great fragrance. Stunning white florals ,creamy and musky fragrance...its a compliment getter. Even a single spray is enough to make you get noticed in a room.

SO confused. I love this one but somehow i don't have the right juice? It smells like vanilla + abit of floral, but people are talking about fruits.. and eggs? Maybe it smells different for everyone but hmm... I love it alot though!!

I got a dapper of this and OMG, so good. It’s fresh but then creamy and sweet as the day goes by it’s just perfect. It’s long lasting. You can wear it all year long too. It’s not a seasonal scent which I appreciate more.

I’ve written a review on this one before. Love it. Just dropping this to mention there’s an herbaceous accord in this that reminds me of just that, weed. Like toking a bowl on the beach in the sun. Summer fun, indeed.

i love this fragrance for summer. it’s fruity, watery, sweet, feminine. the melon from the calypsone and the meringue stick out the most for me. it may be a little juvenile or sweet for some people though.

Out of the atomizer: straight generic dept store On my skin: dirty dog and cat piss. Someone pls tell me what note is doing that because I want to avoid it will my entire being until the day I die

this is THE perfume. I am absolutely obsessed it smells unreal. and the lasting power oh my god 24 hours and it just smells even better the longer it sits on my skin. my forever favorite

this is my go-to at work, a nice fresh mature floral. i barely need to spray more than 2-3, its very strong and it can last, literally love it so much
