La Favorite

I received 6ml dabber sample I cannot speak about projection. It is warm and pleasant and I am huge fan of benzoin and tonka, however, not sure is this would warrant me purchasing a full size bottle. Would like to test it out on a colder day to see how it performs in a colder weather. Overall it is a solid 3/5

La Favorite is gorgeous. Imagine Scandal’s honey note with a beautiful, creamy jasmine note blended into it. Very elegant, dressed up night out scent. After 10 mins, it develops into a tropical vanilla, buffered by yellow florals. Might need a few more wears to see if I want a full bottle.

This is just ok, when I saw the notes I thought it would be much nicer. I have a 6ml sample but will not be buying a bottle. It's nice but kind of reminds me of something I have smelt in an Avon catalogue years ago when they had scratch and sniff pages. 6/10

It is not bad , but not spectacular neither, it reminds me of zara perfumes. Quality is not excellent though.

This must be the worst perfume ever created in the history of Jean Paul Gaultier! This is not even Avon level on a good day. Smelling that is like someone spitting in your face and asking you to pay them $200 for it. Even more shocking Quentin Bisch is behind it. Is Bisch getting sloppy at this point? Maybe instead of creating this abomination bring back Gaultier2 permanently

I have the mini sample they’ve been sending. Off the bat, it’s not unique. It follows the trend of gourmands. Like the rest of JPG releases and like the rest of brands. Differences? The sweetness is more vanilla forward than sugar. Remember that Queen of the Night, just like night blooming cereus are vanilla heavy in their scent. It’s decidedly floral, which in gourmands you don’t usually get. The vanilla feels smooth instead of pushy. There is also a softness in the scent that I can relate to something like J’adore although they are not similar. Think of it like Scandal or Poison Girl with a touch of J’adore or even Jour d’Hermes and even Amarige (the woody side). Tonka, thankfully, is not really present on me. Bottom line; a gentler gourmand that takes the vanilla route, more pronounced florals, and a sort of 1990’s feel to it. It radiates well but in a lighter way, which makes it not suffocating. Not a bad release but even if the bottle is Fragile like, the scent is not. I think it’s the gourmand that can scratch the itch for non gourmand lovers.

Calling it a tragedy would be an understatement. The fragrance opens with a sweet floral-vanilla accord that almost immediately turns into a soapy, flat, and utterly characterless composition. It lacks depth, evolution, and any real personality—it smells virtually the same from start to finish. Perhaps it’s for the best that the projection is so weak and the longevity so poor, because thanks to that, you can quickly forget this olfactory disappointment. Overall, it smells more like an average mid-range body lotion than a fragrance aspiring to the premium segment. The bottle doesn’t help matters either. On one hand, it clearly references the iconic Fragile, bringing back memories of Jean Paul Gaultier’s glory days. On the other, the execution is deeply disappointing: the glitter is gone, and the plastic base merely imitates metal, making the whole presentation look cheap and tacky. It’s hard to shake the feeling that both the fragrance and its packaging are nothing more than a pale imitation of Jean Paul Gaultier’s former creativity.

Recieved the 5ml sample yesterday. Gave it a full day's wear. I am very underwhelmed by it. Starts off sweet florals. The frangipan comes through initially. But after this its just a hot mess tbh. It smells very soapy but not the luxury kind. They the vanilla comes thru which makes it a little less soapy. Longevity and projection is actually pretty decent 3/4 hours . Overall I expected so much more from this. Jpg release some bangers but I feel this one will fall flat

I just had a pleasure of receiving it from JPG . An absolute banger. Beautiful, delicious delightful soft vanilla scent. I have been wearing it since yesterday 8am,already 11 am next day and after last night shower. I can still smell it on my skin, very softly ,and im a male. My daughter is in love with it to. And the bottle......is to die for. So Beautiful. Of course it's like Fragile, the same lady. Stunning It's going to be a sell out . Well done JPG.BRAVO. 10/10

I got the 6ml dabber sample was so excited to try this. To me it smells like baby wipes...I’ve decanted it into a bottle with a spray, still smells like extreme baby wipes. I strangely really like it though and wish I didn’t. If you’ve ever been to a festival and you’re day 2 of baby wiping and dry shampooing just imagine all the scents of pampers baby wipes and batiste dry shampooing floating around the tent, that’s what it’s reminding me of.

Very weird bottle choice... JPG already had a fragrance with a snow-ball bottle with a lady inside, it was called Fragile. The notes are completely different, so I can assume they are nothing alike. So what's the point of releasing a completely new fragrance but in bottle which would suggest the frag is inspired by the og Fragile? I find that weird and misleading. This should be a white floral inspired by the og.

What a beautiful high quality release! Finally a brand that shows a real new perfume (true to the JPG DNA) and not a new boring flanker. It seems to be a big pillar in the feminine JPG fragrances. Can’t wait to smell it. The bottle is STUNNING! Bravo to the marketing and to the packaging designers!

I loved Fragile in the 'snowglobe' edition but my bottle stopped working almost immediately. I like the sound of this one and it looks beautiful - I just hope it works .

Wanting to try this. I own Fragile and to be quite honest, I'd buy this solely for the bottle.

Lmao is this house not sick of using Tonka any chance they get at this point?
