Le Male Summer 2013

I happened upon this gem just this past weekend at Burlington here in the states. I was taken aback because, while Burlington does get the occasional designer gem from time to time, they mostly carry more budget-friendly brands. So seeing the can packaging for a JPG Le Male fragrance hidden behind some cheap perfumes definitely caught my eye, and this gorgeous 125ml bottle for an amazing price of $29.99, This is one of the best steals I have gotten so far in 2021. If you're reading this, most likely you too have happened upon a bottle of this as well. All the other reviews are right to say it is a lighter version of the original, but it smells great and you should definitely pick it up for the price. Perfect for the Spring!

Think I was one of the first to find the gem at Burlington about a month and half ago.. shocked seeing and for the cheap price of 30 was a no brainer. I actually like this more than the original. It's lights and not in your face like the original.. its one of my spring frags, idk if this can work in the summer though.

Found this at Burlington for 20 bucks. Sprayed it on in the car went and ran some errands. It was projecting good and was smelling amazing on the dry down. I had to run back to Burlington to get another one! Pick this up guys if you like Le male.

Proper review Okay I have been wearing this for a week now and really tested it. I have came to the conclusion that this sucks. I am very very disappointed in this summer fragrance. To me this is a completely watered down and lighter version of the original le male it feels like there has been no attempt what so ever to make this a summer fragrance other than to make it lighter. That doesn't cut it for me a summer fragrance isn't necessarily just lighter than the original. I don't get any of the green notes mentioned here. I just get a blast of original le male mint opening this then fades into a lot of vanilla slight lavender+orange blossomish middle and just dies into a light musky base really. That is all I get from this I don't no if I am mad or if it doesn't work on my skin but I am very disappointed in this. The price is a joke for being a summer frag at £40 on top of that I am almost certain that the le male summer is the same every year but with a different bottle which is a marketing stunt. For me vanilla in this just doesn't work as a summer fragrance. Length and projection is better than the average summer fragrance but le beau male is a far better le male alternative to this. I got to try this one today. It opens up very similar to the original le male. To be honest I cannot find a lot of differences yet between this and the original. After the opening notes the fragrance becomes lighter and greener with the grass notes in there. The base is a nice light vanilla and musk scent. This fragrance is a lot lighter and slightly fresher than the original but it is still very similar.
