Midnight Pour Homme

Very nice for being something I bought at Marshall's. Opens up with a very noticeable citrus and as it dries down the citrus quiets down and the musk, lavender, and slight green notes come out to play while the citrus still sits quietly in the back round (but you know its still there). It to me basically smells like (and dries down to) a very good quality, pleasant smelling soap with a citrus touch. Nothing is screechy or stands out too much or more than the other. Well balanced. Very clean, gentle and pleasant smell and pleasant dry down. For as cheap as this was, it to me smells more than worth its price. Definitely a good one, great blind buy and worthy of trying. I give this one a two very solid thumbs up!

Great value, if you pick it up at a rack store. I’ve seen comparisons to ADG Profondo, and I can understand that. To me, it feels more like a hybrid inspiration, blending elements of Profondo’s DNA with a slight touch of Sauvage and blue fragrance DNA. The Sauvage influence isn’t very strong, just a hint in the initial opening. It starts off with that familiar blue freshness, then quickly shifts more toward the ADG-style profile as it dries down. Overall, it’s a solid daily beater, good for reapplication and staying fresh throughout the day.
