L'Étoile et Le Papillon

Classy, stylish, feels like an expensive luxury piece of clothing. Not very masculine imho but a confident, strong man can deff. pull this of too. Wear it with a suit a jeans and white shirt......this parfumerie will be your platin bracelet or your swiss watch...... The first half an hour will test all your nostrills and willpower.....BAM.....What an encounter. After that, it will shift.... ylang, patchouli and cedar will pay visits before vanilla and texan cedar oil prepare you for the long, quite sweet drydown........ ghost like it will come and go.....comforting. One small minus for me...the last bit was a tat to linear and common imho. Will deff. try more of mister Duriez creations. P.s. Get your 10 ml. spraybottles from them for very good prices!

This one reminds me ALLOT of Tauer's blends, and i don't remember which one exactly! the "PHI" maybe or the "Une Rose Chypree"! it does have that Tauer stamp with bokhoor and Arabian style. Powdery amber and sandalwood sand on harsh roses. It does have that some sweetness within. This one is incredibly beautiful, and it's for those who adore's oriental, Arabian style, & Tauer's blends. Beautiful.

Clean fruity rose on a ambery base, square power classic style, but the quality of all the notes and the accords between them is like the quintessence of the art of perfumery, it's Jacques Guerlain level. It's maybe boring , nothing new, classic but the difference between smelling good and smelling good can be the same as enjoying your sushi from the corner store and enjoying your sushi in Tokyoite restaurant run by an old master.

This is a well made rose and little else. Sweet, amber, pushed with cedar, soapy with sandal and sprinkled with patchouli in the finish. I don't like the rose note when it is the undisputed protagonist. This does not hide at all in large agreements, so for me it is an ... ordeal. Or simply a crown of thorns. Of roses.
