Seine Amoureuse

Mmm, this is a delightful little number! Cozy, soft and lightly spicy. It opens with a crisp, cool orris with a hint of violet. As it begins to warm up on my skin, it starts to take a more nutty and powdery tone revealing the heart of cinnamon, and nutmeg! At this stage it reminds me of french toast. I actually ended up making french toast when I wore it because it put that image in my head, haha! In the third stage on the way towards dry-down it turns leathery, a clean, buttery leather. Everything here is tailored perfectly, with a subtle, chic aura. The ingredients are top quality. I think this would actually work really well in summer, at least for me, just because it needs a warm, moist skin to really amp up, and mine tends to be cool and dry most of the time. I don't detect any dirtiness, which I was expecting from the cumin. The performance of the orris -which is the star here- reminds me a bit of Iris Ganache. It ends on that same creamy, slightly musky note as Iris Ganche, but it sidesteps a predictable vanilla finish. Really lovely, understated, and top class.

OOOOOOOOOoooo. Now that's naughty, it's the smell of "Gabriel Belmont" from Lords of Shadow game with that harshness yet sweet and smooth sweat like note that consist of soft suede, creamy orris roots, and burst of cumin. The cooldown brings up the benzoin, the nutmeg, and the cinnamon powder making the whole blend smoother, and more buttery orris roots with soft sweet suede. This one is incredibly amusing and very alluring. I believe this is sexy yet sensual and very thick, and dark. Superbly Addictive.

I smell roses here too, something sweet, the iris here is not earthy but sweet and floral :) tried it few years ago, now after wearing it 2 times i just fell in love with it head over heels as if i discovered its beauty inside, yes summer will be perfect to wear it since this is skin scent

Iris butter and talc on a French leather jacket. He does not unbutton. Not even shy though. Remains simple with a fat touch. It reminded me of Prada's No. 7 violets that has similar violas. And a sugar coated icing. That I prefer.
