Colonial Club

This is completely my style of cologne. When I decided to do the actual test, I did apply it around 9:00AM for work and, for the record, the scent was still on my skin around 7:00PM without having been reapplied. The lasting is great, but the projection is low...it projects well for about 3 hours and then, stays close to the skin. Anyway, each skin reacts in a different way, and maybe in other men it works differently. Yet, it might be that old story of thinking that the cologne is no longer working, but it’s there, but you are having a crisis of "olfactory fatigue". About the fragrance: output notes of lemon, orange, lavender and mint; heart notes: jasmine and fruity blend; base notes: patchouli, vanilla and cedar. On my skin, the output is slightly orange with a touch of mint. But the "fruity blend" is very strong and the jasmine, which is one of my favorite notes (as well as cinnamon and vanilla), are evident and delicious. Finally, the vanilla gives a hot and sweet touch to the fragrance with the dregs of cedar closing it in a very discreet way. You close your eyes and realize that it's not the vanilla that finishes the scent...it gives the creamy and sweet touch throughout the evolution, but is the cedar that gives the final cut upon opening your eyes and get back to "real world". The coolest thing about this scent, since it is considered "second line" - although creation of Jeanne Arthes, which is already a reputable brand and recognized by major sites that discuss the subject - is that it doesn't remind me of any other famous cologne. It seems to me to be a particular creation of the House, which makes it even more special. And I know many colognes and have an excellent olfactory memory. But this is really a mystery. Not to say that I haven't tried to make any calls on my head, I'd say it is a mixture of Individuel (Mont blanc) with Uppercut (Everlast). But I don't think it is a copy of any existing cologne.

I own and this and the Signature. This one performs much better. Projects really well, and also leaves pretty nice scent trail. I own Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP. And understand the similarity. For me, it's in the dry down that smells quite similar to L'homme Ideal EDP. I guess the floral aspect....?? I've tried MB Individuel. The similarity comes from the fruity-floral in my opinion. While the opening, to me it is quite similar with thr citrucy opening of Channel AHS and/or Versace Pour Homme. Conclusion. I'm really happy with this fragrance. The price, the smell, the versatilty, the mass-pleasing, and of course the performance.

Two minutes into the opening, it smells pretty similar to Fcuk Pop Culture. It comes out to be pretty syrupy and too sweet in the beginning. But unlike Pop Culture, Colonial Club gradually transforms into something more refined and admirable. About 30-40 minutes after the opening, the sweetness recedes and gives way to deeper and softer notes. It lasts for 7-8 hours on skin and much longer on clothes. A worth try at such a low price point.

I stop over on Robinson's Mall, one of the malls here in Philippines, however I was looking for a John Varvatos Perfume when I noticed the elegant bottle of this perfume and I would say this one is so cheap but, it smells so expensive. I already purchased it. And My gosh, the fruitiness of this guy is amazing. I really love the opening. I can wear this on a business casual attire and so on even at night. I love it!

A sweet fragrance with smooth progress. Nice price to quality ratio

Its classic.. its fresh n crisp.. and its good.. also its cheap.. whatta nice combination.. eheheheh Its remain me jaguar gold in a soft version.. Kind a bitter orange at the biggining and soft in the middle like girl fragrance.. And the base is smooth but heavy like a sandalwood inside.. Scent : 7.5 (not special but its good n classic) Longevity is good : 6-8 hour (enough) Yes ill recommended for age 30 high.

I paid €10 for this, it's very sweet and synthetic, I haven't used it again, I think I'm going to throw it in the trash.

This is well made and has good price proposition. As someone mentioned there is a similarity to Jaguar Gold with comparatively milder sillage which is perfect and not overpowering. It also has similar vibe to Nikos Sculpture/Rasasi Chastity but better. I'm not a fan of Jasmine but it's done right here. I can smell all the notes and they beautifully come together. It dries off very masculine indeed with hints of tobacco to my nose even though it's not listed. Edit: Jasmine is getting too strong on me. Get it only if you appreciate Jasmine.

Not bad, especially given the price, but nothing good either. Reminds me a lot of Guess Seductive.

I recently purchased this fragrance for my best friend. It's so different from what he's used to wear that he's almost scared to try it... I took him to the store so he could smell it on him and he's convinced about it. It's fresh, safe and delicate... It's not the "alpha-male" typical fragrance, which are often spicy or woody or excessive leathery like... I would say it's the fragrance any girl would love to smell on their boyfriend's t-shirt after he leaves at night.

man, after an hour when the floral aspect ( reminds me Nikos Sculpture) of this juice calms down it becomes very adictive slightly sweet and very atractive scent, and for this price man this juice is a straight up banger! stop crying about projection and longevity guys, just respray it, thats it :) good one for sure!

used to be my signature scent but still loving it. in my oppinion its kinda woody but sweet at the same time
