Havana Moon

Sweet and sexy, a favorite from a gourmand lover... Smelling this as I just got it today for a little over £20, its a 90% dna match to Lattafa Khamrah Qawha, it's like the french version of it. A little smoother and blended better, it has some elegance to it. It's more multidimensional and you can smell the transition from the opening to dry down. The notes compliment eachother in unison whereas Qawha can smell like a synthetic mess. It's also less heavier on that polarizing sweetness that qawha has from the candied fruits and pralines (which gives me a headache) and I don't get it with this one. Overall it smells much higher quality. Will update on performance as I just got this about an hour ago. *edit* Havana Moon lasted approximately 8-9 hours straight out of the box which is pretty good and strong projection for the first 2-3 hours, then finally dying down to a skin scent, BUT leaving a noticeable scent trail when walking around since I sprayed it on my clothes and it does seem to have a strong staying power on clothing more than skin.

Excellent scent and quality. It is very similar to both Angel's Share and Dior Tobacolor, fantastic boozy gourmand, niche level. Also, excelent sillage and long lasting. As a dupe, I find it far better than any arabic alternative like the hyped Khamra's and the likes. I give it 5/5 points in smell, performance and quality. Great job by Jeanne Arthès that ups the company's level from what they used to produce till now.

It really reminds me of Jazz Club from Maison Margiela. Maybe a little bit less smoky than Jazz Club, but very bold. I smell perfectly the liquorous notes and the vanilla that give to Havana Moon a cosy warmness. A good fragrance for a good price, I bought it about 10 euros, but it smells like an expansive one.

Oh my, this is a true gem! At first, cinnamon is very prominent, which makes it christmassy, like mulled wine at a Christmas market. After a while it becomes less christmassy and more like cookies. It smells rich and sweet, spicy and boozy. Definitely a cold weather fragrance! There's a masculine edge in it, I would consider it unisex, absolutely wearable by men too. Sadly, it's too spicy for me, it bothers my nose and the scent doesn't suit me at all - I'm more of a feminine candy-scent kinda girl 🙂 But I can see how beautiful it is. Sillage and longevity is very impressive, so be careful as I can imagine it can be too much if oversprayed. I wholeheartedly recommend Havana Moon to everyone who wants an amazing, bold and characteristic perfume. Update: Okay, I couldn't stop thinking about it so I just had to buy 🙈 I still think it's a bit too spicy for me, but it's the most perfect, sweet and rich and warming Christmas perfume I've ever smelled. I'm very happy with my purchase this will always be my December fragrance.

If you have smelled Angel share or one of the limitless inspired clones out there then you can add Havana Moon to the list. Lattafa's Khamrah is around the same price and in the same scent space but I find Havana Moon to be less sweet and more appealing overall.
