Glow

I know there are already plenty of reviews about this, but I had to chime in with a bit of a cultural viewpoint. This is one of my all time favorite fragrances. I wear it so much that I keep buying more so that I won't ever run out. I think of it as my "california casual" fragrance because it's light and I usually wear it with my beachy Cali girl look, especially when it starts to heat up here in Los Angeles, which is a dry desert heat. Infact, I've tried almost all of her "Glow" scents and love them all! I was trying to figure out exactly what I love so much about this when it finally hit me. It's a cultural thing! I am of mixed latina heritage, but primarily from Mexico. I have had the privilege of traveling quite a bit throughout Mexico. Here in Los Angeles, there are quite a lot of Mexicanos as well. If there is one thing we Mexicanos love it's a fresh, clean smelling person. Almost every one I know uses Dove soap and Nivea lotion because of the clean smell. We also love Ariel laundry detergent and Suavitel fabric softener because of the fresh clean smells. The author Sandra Cisneros mentioned it in her book Caramelo, when she spoke of how her brother went to Mexico to study and came back with several "Mexican" habits, one of which was that particular clean smell. Fresh fruit is also a big part of our culture. I don't think I've ever gone a single day without some kind of fresh fruit; especially tropical fruit. Here in Los Angeles, we have fruit vendors, whereas in other parts of the country there are hot dog or nut vendors. So, I'm guessing that Jennifer Lopez just combined several of her loves into one signature scent. I think she captured it perfectly!! I don't know if it was intentional, but it certainly works! I absolutely love this one and I hope it will always be a part of my collection.

Update - OK I get it now.. I have been using it on a daily basis since march. This became my comfort scent, my favorite bed time scent, even my go to signature in the summer. This one was the only one I could tolerate in the high heat. And people seem to love it on me, just as I love it on myself. After shower I just douse myself in it and enjoy life. For this price point, I couldn't get a better clean smelling scent that is also powdery and feminine. I love it so much, I'm so happy I found this gem, and it gives me confidence that I smell different from other women. The bottle and naming concept is a little bit off in my opinion (especially with that cheap cap..they could have just add something more creative). But the scent is amazing, it is beautiful on my skin. All the notes appeal to me so much. I feel so calm, reserved and grown up when wearing it. It gives me so much comfort, enjoyment. I think it is a perfect everyday scent for people who doesn't want to bother anyone with there smell (like me), but still wants to have a nice scent. It has great projection and lasting power, soapy scent done in the right way. I tried it last night to wear it to bed and I woke up to the scent in the middle of the night, it was so powerful. I enjoyed it, but had to put my hands under the blanket to be able to sleep back 😄. I see people commenting it as oldish, others as teenage scent, so I guess everyone perceives it completely differently, and that is totally ok. And I don't even know anymore what vintage really means. For me it is a timeless beauty, I feel beautiful when wearing it. Although it is not sexy within the traditional terms of sexiness, I can see some people who would find it attractive. It's a clean smelling motherly hug for me.

I picked this up recently for a very reasonable price. I am a fan of the house of JLo for casual wear. Her fragrances are affordable, good quality, and perfect for daily reaches. Glow is no exception! I never, really purchased Glow for myself, nor did I really wear it. I have tried it once or twice years previous--but never desired to own a bottle. My Mother would wear Glow during the warmer months. It was an easy reach, and it smelled great spritzed on her. Today, I'm wearing Glow at work, then later to run errands. At first sprays, it is kind of an unimpressive turn off. Cloying at first. After an hour or so, this baby comes alive! As it dries down, the white flowers take center stage. Especially, the neroli, jasmine, and tuberose. The citrus begins to mingle with the flowers with time--creating a clean, crisp, feminine fragrance. Imagine a lady of class, dressed in an all white flowing sundress, beige sun hat, and beige strappy sandals--picking beautiful white flowers. As the breeze gently picks up--all you smell is JLo's Miami Glow. Isn't that great?! Lol The musk is subtly sexy as the sandalwood begins to come alive. Glow is perfect for outdoor activities, such as picnics, or most daytime activities. It lasts for hours and hours when sprayed on both the skin and clothing. Also, it encompasses you in one of the greatest scent bubbles ever. This was a very nice addition to my collection. I recommend purchasing Glow, if you enjoy soapy, white florals. I do not think this is a safe blind buy though--after all, it is a soapy, white floral, lol. Not everyone's jam! Plus, you must have patience until it dries down.

About a week ago, I was riding the metro and I caught a whiff of the most lovely powdery smell, like a freshly-dusted baby or slightly damp skin that's been washed squeaky-clean with a creamy bar soap. Whoever it was, they smelled divine, especially in the oppressive heat and humidity. I knew immediately I'd be chasing that high for a while. A couple days ago, I happened upon an extra-discounted bottle of JLo Glow in a Ross store and snapped it up. While not an exact match to the scent I experienced in the metro (which I'm still looking for), JLo Glow scratches a similar itch. This perfume smells a bit like sunscreen, a little soapy, and quite powdery. It's perfect for a hot, humid, sweaty summer. It does NOT smell like Dove bar soap, which I use daily, so whoever's been making this comparison maybe hasn't smelled Dove bar soap in a while. Smelling Glow directly from the bottle, it has a bit of a sour twinge, which I think is the grapefruit. This sour note made me really nervous, since my body tends to turn things sour already, but once on skin the sourness disappears. It does have a slight sharpness to it, but it reads as sunscreen. I smell like I'm at the pool, floating around the lazy river. The one downside is, I really don't see myself wearing this in remotely cool weather. I think it would have to be summer for me to pull this one out. But on the other hand, I can already see myself gravitating towards this gem every day for the next several months until the heat subsides and suddenly it's autumn again.

A shower can be a sacred ritual in softness, a space to turn off your mind and wash away the day's stressors, watching them swirl down the drain, perhaps alongside a tear or two, encapsulated in sparkling suds. While we might feel vulnerable, we are gently held by the cloth of a curtain or the translucent shower glass, which allows only the faint glow of the outside world into our vision. The heat of the water reminds us that we are alive, and as we scrub away at ourselves, we connect to our bodies; even if we do not express kindness to them outside of this time, we are forced to confront them here and give them the care they deserve. It can be unnerving, certainly, but it is necessary. When we leave this realm, we are greeted by the plush comfort of a fresh towel, silky pajamas, and fresh sheets, and, for now, at least, all is well. This perfume is the olfactory recreation of that experience and is an absolute joy to wear. Of course, there are those who would tell you that there is little point in buying a perfume that smells like you just stepped out of the shower, and I understand their qualms, but I cannot resist this gem. It is an essential comfort in my collection, and I prefer it to MMM Bubble Bath. Bubble Bath is for you if you are more interested in the...loose interpretation of soap to me, as in, you want it to smell like perfume still, but this is soap, pure Dove soap.

the hunt for the perfect daily scent is over. so soapy which I loooooove - for context, I work mostly in healthcare settings so when I wear this, it just smells like it's from me rather than a perfumy perfume. There are so many clean scents but they're either too masculine or zingy or sour - this has to be the only one thats so balanced. It reminds me of the new NR musc blanc but with no cedar and less vanilla (and don't get me started on how well priced this is for the longevity!!!! NR musc blanc lasts about the same on clothes when i tested it a couple of times at department stores and i cannot justify spending £100+ on it) I have to be the only one that can actually smell the vanilla!! definitely not in the initial spray but I opened my closet where I'd dumped a scarf Id sprayed this perfume on and there was this beautiful new aroma of vanilla and I could smell something creamily woody, wow. so the longevity is so weird. It lasts long for an edt - id say 6 hrs and then dissapears and you forget about it and then the vanilla kicks in after a day. but if you're not into clean scents, do not buyyyy

Jlo's Glow has had a consistent place in my collection ever since a friend started wearing it in highschool around 2005. Usually, I am not a fan of neroli or tuberose. I also very much dislike celebrity fragrances. I don't usually reach for soapy scents either. Yet somehow Glow brings all of these notes together to produce a juice that is slightly warm, musky, feminine, addicting and fresh and I am absolutely hooked. Glow is ever so slightly sweet, has a feeling of Love's Baby Soft but not so cloying and aggressive. In my mind this is JPG's Classique for women's younger sister and if you own both you might understand what I mean; Glow has the same syrupy skin scent as Classique but without the complexity. This is one of those scents you can throw on before bed, after a shower or bath, or when you just want to feel fresh and cozy. Glow is a very non-offensive and all around safe purchase in my opinion. It lingers on clothing like a beast and I can usually smell it on my fabrics for up to 4 days. I vividly remember seeing the print ads for this fragrance and it embodies the scent perfectly well.

My first thought...Gluew? But then it settles and it's one of the soapiest (the sopiest one I have ever smelled, but I'm sure there are others as well, which I just haven't had a chance to try out) and most lotion-like fragrances out there. Actually it's exactly like a nice body lotion, very cozy, musky, soft, but beware, if you're looking for a more perfumey perfume, this might not be the one. It smells like a pretty soap/lotion and noone could tell you're actually wearing a perfume. It's good for layering that way, gives a certain softness to sharper frags. I love wearing it alone, have no problem with smelling like I only have body lotion on, if I like the smell I don't really care what others think when they smell my fragrance aura. I can compare this scent to a girl, first it's a baby girl playing with rubber dolls, and after a while that feel is gone and she's now a teen, all fluffy, pretty, light pink, clean and warm.

This perfume is an absolute love for me!! This is the first celebrity perfume that I ever purchased. I bought this when it first came out. I turned 45 last Friday and I still wear it now. Glow smells so classic and clean on me with a fresh musky dry down. A beautiful soft clean musk that I can smell on me all day. It lasts on my shirts and sweaters for a very long time. I'm not sure if you can tell yet, but I really like this fragrance lol. But seriously this is another one that blends beautiful with my body chemistry. I hope they never stop making it. This is one that I will always have in my rotation. I like to wear this to work on days when I'm really stressed. There is something about this perfume that's comforting. It lingers around me like a cloud. I don't have to re-apply during the day. When a perfume is still with you throughout the day it's definitely a keeper and it's not expensive. That's a win in my book.

Super, SUPER clean, soapy floral. Literally has all of the florals I adore.. Neroli, orange blossom, rose, tuberose and a jasmine that I like (I'm very picky with jasmine, it can be either love love love or HATE). This is just a floral fallal, soap bomb and I LOVE it.. But I hate that I love it because all my friends make fun of me for wearing a J Lo perfume. I also kind of hate that this perfume has artificial dyes in it. I've broken this rule before with other perfumes such as Vera Wang by Vera Wang and get around it by just spraying these perfumes on my CLOTHES or outfit and not on my skin (I have sensitive skin and artificial dyes tend to irritate me). I genuinely give it a 9/10 the only reason it isn't PERFECT is because of that freaking dye!!! If anyone knows of a spot on dupe for this that DOESN'T have any artificial dyes in it please! Let me know!!!

It's really soapy and fresh with a musky-jasmine dry down... This is perfect if your guy is the "non complicated" type, those who like you to smell nice and yummy, nothing too conceptual or overpowering. Why am I saying this? I'm in a sort of musical theater company (a "murga", but that's a regional term and it's hard to explain what it is. Anyway, there's one pretty clear thing: it's men territory) ... there's 20 of us, and only 3 are girls. Whenever I arrive to the reharsals wearing this, almost all of my colleagues compliment me for the way I smell. And they are the kind of people who usually don't notice stuff us girls care about. I don't get this reaction with none of my other perfumes, some of them a lot more expensive and elaborated. I think this is how a woman that's naturally seductive could smell, very sexy, but in a friendly casual way. :)

Not your typical perfume it doesn't smell "perfumey" at all, it smells straight up like soap. like a soft floral soap. not everyone is into that vibe, but the girls that get it get it. It smells soft, feminine, clean. one thing to note about this perfume is NOT to overspray. you will get the best out of this perfume if u do a single spray on each of your pulse points and that's it- a single layer. otherwise, the perfume doesn't really transform well on your skin, if you spray lightly, it will dry down to the MOST magical scent. Update-- all of a sudden the scent changed on me and become irritating and i had to declutter my bottle bc the scent made me develop a headache and nausea :(((( my old bottle didnt do this tho,.... get a small size and use it fast to prevent this happening to you.

As I delve more into my fragrance journey, I have come to realize that I prefer florally, clean scents over all other scent profiles. Sure I can love a gourmand now and again, but I get bored of the foody sweetness after a while. Stright up fruity scents are boring to me, I prefer them with combined with florals or woods. Fresh scents are nice but most are just fleeting and not memorable. All that to say, I love J. Lo Glow! This is the clean girl scent, if there was any. Get this if you love the way you smell after an everything shower, heck even after a regular shower. It just smells clean, pretty and fresh. Maybe if you overspray, it may get cloying. But if you do like 3-4 sprays, you're good to go. This is a classic and one that I will always have for as long as they keep selling it.

The reviews here make me smile, because this is definitely a "love it or hate it" scent. Me, I love it. It makes your skin smell like you just took a long luxurious bubble bath and lathered with the most expensive bar of French soap. In truth, any white floral perfume (esp with musk) that isn't sweet is often called "soapy" because we're so conditioned to expect white florals to be sweet. This is absolutely lovely and grownup. I never, ever buy celebrity fragrances (I'm a niche perfume collector), but my mother had a bottle of this in her house and after one sniff I was hooked. So much so that I'm now on the hunt for good soapy niche scents. EDT is long lasting and fairly linear, which is a good thing if you like the scent. Pair with a white linen dress and let the compliments roll in!

I picked this up for myself during a low-point in my life, and it's been a mainstay of mine for the past several months. It goes on so fresh, no-nonsense, and clean. I don't have to think when I put this on, I know it will always work, no matter what. For a few months prior I was working in an elder residential facility, and I needed something that would be inoffensive and pleasant for most older folks. This smells classy, professional, and subtle. But beyond that, there is something slightly cozy about it (maybe the orris root in the base?). I have taken to wearing it to bed every so often after a hot shower. It has a scent that goes really well with (and maybe reminiscent of) Classic Ivory Soap. Just straightforward, clean, and comfortable.

Well, this perfume holds sentimental value for me. I received it for my seventeenth birthday back in the 2000s. Initially, I wasn't sure if I liked it back then; however, I ended up wearing it a lot, finishing the bottle, and moving on. Last year, I made the decision to repurchase it, and I adore it now! There's something uniquely appealing about it – unlike anything I've come across in designer brands. The fragrance is a delightful combination of sweetness, soapy freshness, and it reacts beautifully with my skin, showcasing different facets depending on the weather. I find myself constantly drawn to it. In terms of longevity, it's reasonable considering the price: approximately 4 hours on my skin, and even longer when applied to clothing.

it’s crazy that it’s 2025 and this is the first bottle of this i’ve owned. i have been reading about clean scents, popular celebrity scents, oldies but goodies. and this is all 3, so i blind bought it, figuring at this price it wouldn’t be much of a loss anyways. this is even better than i thought it would be, and lived up to my expectations. it’s a clean, soapy scent. it just smells like the early 2000s. before it dried down, as i was sniffing my arm, it had a kind of generic ‘perfume-y’ scent that briefly reminded me of Britney Spears’ Curious. it dries down to a soapy white floral. i must have known someone who used this regularly because it makes me nostalgic. it’s fresh out of the shower, clean girl wearing a juicy couture tracksuit.

Recently going back to my teen perfumes as everything new smells the same..and also for the nostalgic reasons..I love this perfume so much it’s gorgeous girl feminine soft clean scent yes it has a Nivea/dove soapy scent that is musky and powdery but it’s not overbearing it’s just lovely like a bubble bath..honestly it’s refreshing compared to the celebrity perfumes of today vanilla bombs all smell like eachother this is great for any season day or night the only thing is it doesn’t last very long on me so I have to spray a lot so 100ml wouldn’t last too long but it’s so cheap which is great...i like to spray over Nivea body cream or dove and the bottle is gorgeous the necklace is the same logo as her jlo album from 2001

I love everything about Glow, from the Y2K nostalgic bottle to the sumptuous juice inside. I never had a bottle growing up, but I certainly know and remember the scent. It was everywhere in the early aughts! I didn’t have a lot of money as a kid back then, so my perfume collection wasn’t even a collection. I only had a few bottles, with one being an imitation version of Glow, if I remember correctly. But oh, the real deal is so good! So pretty, clean, and luxurious. It’s probably my favorite “just out of the shower” fragrance. I mostly wear it at home on days when I have no plans. Just shower, spray, and then enjoy the intimate, fresh coziness of the rest of my day.

Glow by Jennifer Lopez is my favorite celebrity perfume. It is clean, warm, sexy, and elegant. When I first spray this, I get this soapy, fresh, and citrusy scent with a hint of sweet florals. The dry down is musky and warm. If you took a long shower using luxurious rose soap, you and your bathroom would smell like Glow. I was surprised that this is an eau de toilette because it lasts really long on my skin. What really sets Glow apart from the usual celeb scents is the clean and inoffensive scent. It's not your typical discount store find. It's more like a classy gem that stands out in the crowd full of artificial gourmand scents.

Lovely! It’s very soapy on my skin. On clothes, it smells like soap but also like a lovely fabric softener, which is right up my alley. It’s soft, inoffensive, and a great skin scent. It smells like clean skin after a shower. That’s why I bought it, and that’s why I love it. I’m on my third bottle right now. I don’t think it smells like Dove per se, btw, but it is soapy, and I do understand why people say it does (Dove needs to release their own perfume like Nivea did... we are all begging!). (Also, I don’t care about J.Lo at all lol, but this scent is incredible for clean scent lovers.)

I remember getting this for Christmas in 2004, when I was 15 years old. I remember it vividly because it was the first White Christmas I ever experienced. The creamy lotion-like ethereal floral scent mingled with the snowy air will forever be a memory I cherish. Ironically when I got the fragrance I was entering my Goth phase (which I haven't grown out of in all honesty) and I always associated this scent with the Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace, which was an album I also received that Christmas. Even though it's a JLo scent, it will always be this gothic ethereal beauty to me. 🖤

Surprisingly mature and elegant scent. I remember wearing it when finishing high school, followed by the peppery Armani Mania (before the reformulation) when I started uni. Probably too mature for me back then but it’s bringing back some nostalgia now. Sits beautifully on my skin with a sensual, close range. It’s classy as heck. I feel like this should be Helen Mirren’s release instead of JLO, and the juice just doesn’t agree with the bottle IMO so expectations might not match the reality. I can see how some might not enjoy the soapiness but for me, it’s stunning.

I actually ended up really loving this scent, although I’m usually more into sweeter scents. This smells clean and sexy, like you just took a shower. It’s very feminine and long lasting on clothes and on my skin, as well. 😉👌 It’s a floral perfume, but the florals don’t bother me and I usually dislike floral perfumes. But this one is made right, it smells more like soap than actual flowers. And I’m someone who loves the way my hands smell when I wash it with Dove soap, for example. To me, it smells really good. 👍🥰💕 And I love Jennifer Lopez, as well. 😊

This clean perfume has become my gym signature scent. I rather smell like soap & sweat than armpit mixed with an obnoxiously sweet body spray, that’s just me. Just like the ad it’s fresh, sexy & clean. I don’t know why some people would dislike this beautiful fragrance. A soft soapy musk. How could someone not want to smell like fresh white flowers with a hint of citrus? It’s not heavy it’s airy & powdery it’s an everyday SKIN scent.

So good. Dove soap, just a tiny bit fresher. Clean, soapy, slightly creamy. White floral forward. Excellent projection and longevity is the whole day. Appropriate for year round wear when you want to continue that soapy after-shower feel and want to smell showered-fresh all day. Haven’t been able to find anything else like it. I was late to the Glow party, only the last few years. I can’t see this not being a staple. 🤍🌸🧼🧴🫧🚿

I really like this. I just got it a couple days ago. Never tried it before but it’s a really nice clean fresh scent that is easy to wear and non offensive. Would be perfect for work environments. I actually sprayed it on right after my bath before bed and it was perfect. IT gives you that shower fresh soapy scent all day long and lasts pretty well too. Great value for money. It’sa love for me.

Maybe I love this perfume because it reminds me of Florida thunderstorms, cold summer showers and baby powder. This is a good one. Soap, it's soap. Dial, Dove, Suave I don't know but for certain it's one of them. It smells clean, fresh out of the shower and I love it. Definitely a hot day scent. If you don't like smelling like a basic bar of soap this might not be up the one for you.

Glow is, and probably always will be, my favorite celeb scent ever. It's also one of the top five perfumes I own overall (and I own about 80+ full size bottles of perfume). It's my ideal "fresh out of the shower" scent. I feel clean, beautiful and sexy every time I wear it. My main bedtime scent. It's like I'm being wrapped in my most comfortable blanket, freshly laundered. 🥰

J Lo Glow smells like soap. Literally just soap. I don't get any other notes. I get so many compliments from other women when I wear this. It's the same thing every time: a hug to say hello and then gushing over how good I smell. This is a good fragrance for when you'll be in a crowd or otherwise need to smell fresh and non-offensive to people with sensitive noses.

This is so good for an everyday signature scent. To me it just smells clean and fresh. I love how the orange blossom is florally sweet and mixes perfectly with the musk. This is a classic and I am glad that it is still easily available after all of these years. This layered with Mont Blanc is how the Valentino Rendez Vous Ivory should have been in my opinion.

You either love it or you hate it type fragrance, I dont care!!!! Iove it, Smells like a fresh tube of Nivea Or Ponds Face Cream but in a good way, Powdery, a bit soapy and clean, I get a bit of the rose not but on the dry down it smells very soapy, a tad bit of sweetness, lasting power is about 5 hours, very mature fragrance

Really really love this! -though I'm surprised lily of the valley/bluebells aren't listed in the notes?! As others have mentioned it has a clean fresh scent with some green florals, reminiscent of spring flowers. A little soapy but not massively so, I think this would be nice to keep you feeling fresh in hot weather.

Even though this isn't a perfume from my childhood, some note (or notes?) in it triggers positive childhood memories for me. It's a soft, clean, feminine, nostalgic scent that I keep going back to. I might be kind of basic, I suppose, but this is definitely one of my signature scents. And I think the bottle is cute.

It's so weird to me that teenagers wore it in the early 2000s (and I was born in '93). This is the only drugstore perfume i've ever smelt that truly reminds me of a funeral, and that's the reason I'm gonna buy it lol. I mean the base is very musky but the flowers in it just smell like death to me, love it

I adore this. It does not leave my perfume tray. You smelll like you had the most beautiful relaxing shower with lovely sudsy white soap and frothy shampoo. You are clean, crisp and lovely. The only thing to hate here is how stupid the bottle bling here. This is a classic gem for an affordable price.

Bright, clean, soapy, soft. Surprisingly long lasting for an EDT as well. My mum wore this a lot so it reminds me of her. I reach for it whenever I just want to smell like Dove/Nivea crème. It’s very good for spring summer, but I wear it in winter too as I find it comforting.

A modern classic which I've bought over and over across the years. A clean like soap scent that dries down into a musk with good staying power on clothing and moderate on skin- this one is a winner!

One of the best celebrity perfumes!! And highly underrated these days. This perfume makes you feel like the cleanest girl in the world! You have to love fresh clean scents to enjoy this though.

A staple in my fragrance wardrobe. For lovers of musk and 'clean' smelling scents. My Eastern European mama calls it 'feminine'. Couldn't agree more!

I absolutely love this scent but it apparently doesn’t like my body chemistry because it doesn’t smell good once I spray it on myself.

Soapy soft and floral. It's beautiful. I was 22 when this came out and loved it - & After dark was my clubbing scent.

I already loved it as a young teen in the early 2000s - found it again and still love it. Smells like baby powder.

All time favourite perfume! I am 29yo and use this one since I was 13yo going back and forth. Love it too much!

Love this scent for Spring and Summer.

I remember saving my pocket money and getting a bottle of this when I was 14 and I felt so grown up wearing it. Lopez was one of the first major singers to have their own fragrance and I like many others was intrigued to know how it'd feel to smell like a superstar. Glow stood out from all the celebrity scents that followed, Britney, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, even Madonna eventually had them too, but what was noticeable is how they often went for quite generic, standard "easy to wear" smells. Vanilla notes, strawberry notes, sweet candy, white florals, a pinch of French-inspired aldehydes you know the drill. Ultimately inspired by much better, higher end fragrance houses and designers. They were so often a stocking filler from mum or auntie at Christmas. Don't get me wrong, Glow is very wearable, its purpose is clear: clean, fresh and straight out of the shower. What separates it I think, is the very crisp sourness that comes from the grapefruit. It cuts through the rose, the powder and the creaminess when you least expect it and creates something very sophisticated. It's very womanly and oozes confidence and self assurance. In hindsight, a pretty ridiculous fragrance for a teenage girl in her school uniform. It's neither 'cozy', nor 'cold" but something very in between. I love that this still has its dedicated following and is now found in drug stores much cheaper than it was when it first came out. It's beautiful and doesn't smell quite like anything else I've ever smelled since, which is obviously why it's stood the test of time and hasn't been discontinued unlike all the others.

This smells like a vintage rose soap. That's it. I first smelled it inside a Macy's at my local mall that is closed since then. Brings back fond memories. I would not say blind buy it, as I find that this perfume has aged. I'm not sure if it's the tuberose or the rose, but it gives the fragrance what some would consider a grandma smell. So there's that. However, there is something about this perfume that I can't stress enough: it's so CALMING. If you want to feel more relaxed if you're stressed out or if you like to feel relaxed at night before bed, spray this on your pillowcase, trust me. Even if it's not a scent you'd wear out in public, you'll want this just for that. For me, I will keep it for that reason. Again, it's not for everyone, but with the price now days I think trying a full bottle won't break the bank. If there's a more modern fragrance out out there with a similar effect I'd love to know.
