Modern Jess

I finally smell the beauty in this! All year up until now, all I ever smelled was powdery ylang ylang that smelled like baby wipes and mothballs. I thought this would never work on me. But I didn't give up and I gave it a try last night and this morning... It is lovely! Now I smell sweet powdery violets and it's so beautiful and enchanting💞. I'm so glad I didn't give up on this. And it's Jessica mcclintock so it lasts forever and a day! So now I love 3 of Jessica McClintock perfumes-- my ultimate fave is New Victorian, second is Modern Jess and my first love (although in 3rd place now), is the always lovely namesake signature of Jessica McClintock. Mmmmm so classy and timeless... Very ladylike, but sweet enough to give it that natural floral candy sweetness to it that is so much better than the synthetic sweets that are used so often these days. This is a love and I'll always have this in my collection and it is also the sweet fluffy cloud of violets that I've been craving and searching for, for over a year now-- it was in my perfume closet all along! Mmmmm-- Ahhhhhhh--- delightful 🤭 By the way... This has that classic, timeless elegance or should I say 'essence'of days gone by. If you like the powder violets in insolence with that old fashioned beauty mystique than you may like this one as well. They both have that same vibe. Very lady like.

A little bit of spring! Really feels like a bouquet of hyacinth and spring flowers. Long lasting and pretty good projection. When snow is deep and you think spring will never come, this will remind you.

This is all about hyacinth. Love it. Beautiful. But, it doesn't last as long as her other fragrances.

Lovely fresh floral with as much silage as washing with a bar of floral soap. You can douse yourself with this to no avail. The end result will be the same. Just a skin scent. Too bad since it really is a pretty spring scent. Edit 8/26/22 - 3rd time wearing it since I first purchased it in 2019 and I just realized that this fragrance performs very well in the heat. Not overwhelmingly so, but I am very aware of it and getting lovely wafts every now and again. I did spray it heavily and also gave a light misting to my clothes, so maybe that has something to do with it. I asked my co-worker if it was too heavy, and she told me it left a light scent trail when I walked by but was in no way heavy - about the same as other perfumes I wear to the office.
