Fancy Forever

I reached for this yesterday after my shower for a crisp Spring day. Not cold, windows are up, but cool 70 w/no humidity. I was pleasantly surprised. I have 3 Fancy’s & I like this more than the og. I like the og, but I like this a lil bit more. Fruity flornillas women over here. I love my rich spicy cold weather fragrances, but ready to wear my fresh, sweet, fruity florals. This is a great transition scent. It liked the cool air, but also woke up as my skin warmed while working. The opening is strong fruit, I smell the apricot & blackberry first, then the litchi comes in with the florals. The litchi is more sweet than tart, done nicely. I love a sweet pea note! The vanilla is prominent but soft, smooth. The musk is clean and is warmed by the vanilla. The litchi with the musk is perfect to me. The deep dry down is very nice, clean, soft, slightly warm. Reminds me slightly of an old time shave cream. I got 2 hrs of projection, then I smelled with my movement for hours, by bedtime it was a skin scent. I didn’t reapply and still had clean musky skin this morning. This should be a good Spring-Fall for me. It won’t pull in cold, cold weather, but it likes cool temps. It is not a loud, in your face scent, more intimate. Like, when you know someone is going to be close, this is a good reach. 20/10

So I was happy to see Fancy get another flanker. I think this will be the last however. Forever Fancy is so unique in the fact that it has one major ingredient that stands out. Sweet pea. It’s used in the alcohol floral base which smells almost like. Well. An alcohol mixer! It smells no joke. Like sweet and sour liquor mix! I was a bartender for years so I know the scent and omg I got this for Christmas and was like WTF! This is sweet and sour mix! It’s. Actually pleasing? Oddly enough. But wow. It is so weird because it dries down to a starchy floral scent almost mature older and womanly. It’s very strong. One of the strongest fragrances she’s ever done. It’s not a “office” friendly scent. The florals and the sweet juicy fruits all combined to make a PUNCH of a olfactory combination! I will say the bottle is GORGEOUS. Pale see through glass almost like press paper, with diamonds along the neck of the bottle. Beautiful design and a very rich floral fruity scent. I love it personally. I rank it with Fancy Love and Fancy Girl being some of the best. I never loved Fancy. While I liked it, it wasn’t the best. The flankers have been much better!

I quite like this. It's a beautiful fragrance that will fit in perfectly with Fancy and all the other flankers. I just love the whole line-up. I think the bottle is gorgeous. I do get a tiny bit of Fantasy, but it's more mature and grown-up. It isn't cakey at all. I feel like the balance between fruity and floral is well done because one doesn't outshine the other. The opening is wonderful. It dries down more skin scent, but I can get whiffs as I move about. It doesn't disappear, but I do like to freshen up with a spray or 2 after 4-5 hours. This perfume doesn't steal the show out of all the Fancies, but it sure is a Fancy for warm weather when the original would be too heavy.

I don't know why, but I really love this fragrance! I have all but the newest Jessica Simpson perfumes (Fiend), and this one really stands out to me. The powdery sweetness back by a vanilla fruity kick just keeps me coming back to smell my wrist. When first applied it has wonderful sillage, however a respray every few hours will be helpful to keep that up. The bottle is one of my favorites in the Fancy line along with I Fancy You. I guess some people get the smell of Fantasy by Britney Spears in here but I think that is just because the vanilla and litchi. Fantasy is a much more fruity bright cupcake scent than this one. Fancy Forever makes me feel elegant and and sparkling.

Smells amazing, sweet, fruity, strong, slightly musky, then immediately in a Poof! It's gone! Nothing but a slight whisper of musk left over. It definitely doesn't perform in warm weather, or hot weather. It must be a cool fall weather fragrance. I'll try again when the weather cools down. I've already wasted a good chunk of my bottle trying to get this to perform but it just doesn't. I have to save it for a significant dip in temperature. Update: this performs in cold weather and it’s strong! Mmmm it’s sooo good! It’s 37 F fyi

Something about these beautiful, bright, zingy fruits combined with the vanilla and peony makes this feel like a 90s scent for modern tastes. It smells like waking up early in the summertime with nothing planned. The day is full of possibilities and nothing could bring you down.

This perfume reminds me a warm, breezy summer night. It's definitely a sexy, grown-up perfume.

Found out about this flanker back in late December. I googled it to see if it was even available anywhere and low & behold...a listing for it showed up on Macy’s website and due to either a Xmas sale or New Years sale they cut the price literally in half. So I got this BRAND NEW perfume’s whole gift set with the perfume, body wash, lotion, and roller ball oil for like $25. I couldn’t pass it up as 80% of Jessica’s perfumes I LOVE. I tend to agree with a few of the reviewers below. There’s absolutely nothing to hate here. It’s not bad. It’s actually pretty good. And the packaging is amazing. But...it doesn’t even come close to the original Fancy if I’m being completely honest. This is one of those perfumes where it’s more easily described by accords than by specific notes. Immediately upon spraying you get fruity fruity fruity. Britney Spears Fantasy fruity? Absolutely NOT. Smells nothingggg like Fantasy. But yes it’s very fruity. Then you do get the powdery accord showing its presence almost immediately. And the musk joins the party also. So it’s a catch 22 where I don’t think this is incredible but I also have to say it’s pretty unique and I’ve never smelled anything like it before. It’s nice....but I think that the notes composition could’ve been a little better. I think this should’ve been made a little sweeter to be honest. But it’s good. And tbh it can be worn any season of the year. So all in all I’m gonna say it’s “good.” I most certainly wouldn’t pay full price that it goes for now but I Deff consider my $25 purchase for the gift set worth it for sure and I won’t be getting rid of it...I’ll use it up. I’d say go for it if you can find a deal like I did. But $40 or $50...I wouldn’t spend on this. Overall I’ll give it a 6.5/10. Nothing that makes you in awe of it but still a pretty aroma. Jessica RARELY releases anything that isn’t at LEAST...good. And regardless of the fact that I’m not head over heels in love with it...it’s still good. So I’ll give it a thumbs up. Also VERY good job on the packaging and the bottle is just beautiful.

This is a very pretty scent. Initially, I wasn’t so sure about it, I only picked up a lot of musk. But once I cleared the atomizer, it turned out really nice! It’s a pretty fruity floral musk. I don’t pick up much, if any of the original vanilla from the original Fancy’s dna. I pictured this to be a wedding day scent based on the name and the Diamond bling. Personally, it would have never worn this for my wedding. Even though I find it pretty, I don’t find it special enough for that. I’d say it’s more of a daytime spring-fall scent but could be worn year round. Nothing overly unique but pleasant.

Ok so this smells like nothing I have smelt before . It's so unique! Best way I can describe it as a mix of fancy love , vintage bloom and dior addict . Not saying it smells just like them but it's like a mix . It's very unique and interesting ! I have never smelt anything like it before this is day two wearing it and I love this . It stands out EDIT I know what the dry down reminds me of and it's tory burch love relentlessly !

Smells so much like sherbert & mandarin. Very long lasting & lots of projection. I find that men really like it. Very fresh. Definitely reccomend

How are you to knock it and say it's basic whenever you praise the lolita scents gold sugar, sweet delicious and katy perry meow 🤣 please

Strong sweet/zesty musky perfume. Pleasant overall. Totally different from original Fancy.

Like all fancy line it’s super beautiful. More lemonish but in a subtle great way.

This perfume reminds me of getting a short haircut and then growing it long again, with that awkward in between phase. It opens rather beautifully. I pick up a fruity apricot, a soft vanilla and a light musk. My initial reaction: this is cozy! However. After about 2 hours, we get to the awkward part of the journey. It smells like sandalwood but with a distinct burnt smell. Reminiscent of when you blow a candle out. But much, MUCH stronger. It's diabolical. Once you get to 4 hours in, the burnt smell is gone. You're left with sandalwood and a light musk. It's not bad. I try to imagine there's vanilla or tonka bean there. But in all honesty, there really isn't. I only see 1 reviewer note a similar experience. So I think it doesn't perform well on my skin. Not suitable as a blind buy. I will experiment to see if layering will improve this perfume. Because I do like the longevity of it, and the silage is also really impressive for a perfume at this price point. It just doesn't seem to work for me... Yet.

Okay, I go back and forth on this fragrance. It smells good but I think the litchi and sweet pea throw me off. I literally pick it up at least once a day to get a sniff so I can decide how I feel about it. I think that I'll need to wear it more to really decide. With that being said I think that it is a good everyday fragrance and I think most will find it pleasant. It's moderate all around. Update: Okay so I had to get rid of it. That sweet pea is just so screechy on me. Usually my skin pulls vanilla out of things but it just didn't on this one sadly.

I received this today after ordering it online and while the notes sounded beautiful, unfortunately I'm not really feeling this fragrance. It's a shame because I love the original Fancy and Fancy Love. There is a very pronounced sharp note in this that almost reminds me of I Fancy You which isn't one of my favorites either. I'll have to see what it smells like in a few hours and re evaluate then.

The original JS Fancy is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. This one lacks what makes Fancy special, it smells like Pink Sugar, clones of Burberry Her and cleaning products. Somehow, I do not hate it. Smells like a shined up bubbly sister scent... and while Fancy can be a little much for day time and warmer weather, this feels at home on a sunny day.

I thought this was going to be the best in the fancy line and therefore more than I expected. The last fancy to top them all. But it really is not. It is very soft and delicate, a little fruity yet floral but fades quickly and like others have said is a mix of fancy girl and fancy love. If you want to buy it off me DM me:)

This stuff is harsh. I get more citrus than anything, and like some strong harsh citrus. There might be some floral I get in here. This is not a sweet smell at all to my nose. This is not a soft smell at all to my nose. Kind of sharp/harsh. I will admit it is alright on my skin, but on paper it's just ew... Ugh.. this stuff is too strong, maybe have to scrub it clean. edit: had to give this away just yuck. Seems that Jessica Simpson's perfumes are just too hit and miss for me. I try very hard to give every scent a chance, even if I don't like it at first, and I am not even that picky.

When i first heard about this fragrance and seen the notes, i wasn't sure if it was a fragrance i would want to risk blind buying. But i went ahead and purchased it anyways because why not? I've always been a risk taker when it comes to purchasing fragrances and I've only been disappointed very few times. I'm not sure what i was expecting Fancy Forever to smell like, but i wasn't prepared for what it had to offer. 🖤 Fancy Forever is one of those fragrances where the base notes are more prominent than the top notes because upon first spray, i get a blast of sweet Tonka Bean and Musk. The Tonka Bean is actually a beast in this fragrance. It doesn't really fade or go away, it just calms overtime. About 15 minutes later, i get a hint of BlackBerry and Apricot, which remains very soft but noticeable. About 45 minutes in, the Tonka Bean and Musk is accompanied by Vanilla, creating this beautiful warm, sweet, sophisticated scent. I feel like this has been done before, but i can't quite put my finger on it. But whether or not it's been done before doesn't take away from what an amazing scent this is. I've only smelled the original Fancy and Fancy Love and this nothing like those two. The other floral and fruit notes took a backseat in this composition thanks in large part to Tonka Bean. In the dry down, I'm left with a soft blend of sweet Vanilla, Tonka Bean and musk. 🖤 Fancy Forever has outstanding performance, giving me 6+ hours on my skin and 4 feet of sillage in the first 3 hours. As it dries down, it does sit closer to the skin, but you could still turn heads when walking past people. Overall, i am very satisfied with this fragrance and I'm very optimistic about any future flankers to come from this line, especially if Jessica and Parlux are going to give us this kind of quality. Scent: 9/10 Packaging: 8/10 Performance: 9/10

Fancy Forever is a flanker that is just as sweet as its predecessor, Fancy. Housed in a beautiful dusty pink bottle with rhinestones around the neck, Fancy Forever is yet another solid release from Jessica Simpson. Despite its sweetness, this fragrance is also heavy on the musk, which will either be a love it or hate it for many. I do enjoy Fancy Forever, although admittedly the opening top notes were a little too sweet for me. It opened with a syrupy burst of blackberry, litchi and apricot before settling into a softer, muskier vanilla blend. It's more of a musky vanilla scent than a gourmand, making it more palatable than a majority of celebrity scents on the market. The musk accord attempts to emulate other popular musks such as Narciso Rodriguez and Byredo's Mojave Ghost, however, there's no denying that the musk used in this fragrance is a cheaper essential oil that can smell quite synthetic at times. I find that Fancy Forever for this reason wears better on clothing than on skin. I get relatively decent sillage and longevity from Fancy Forever. I find the drydown extremely pleasant on my skin, with a hint of juicy blackberries and sugary vanilla musk. I am not sure as to where I would wear Fancy Forever, as it is not strong enough to be an evening scent but is a touch too sweet for daytime wear.

so i just got this today & as always happy with another simpson perfume :) this scent fits in nicely with all her other scents............always feminine....always girly.......and just the right soft floral balance so its not overwhelming :) its a soft powdery floral............if u like her other scents u will like this one :) i know some fruit scents are listed but i get an overall soft floral :) i think its blended really well - i dont have one note that is a stand out lol - its just a really nice blend :) what i dont get is blackberry lol - ususally blackberry in scents come off a bit strong on me but not in this scent...........the base notes make it really soft & pretty so for me its a good combo :)

This does not smell like the original Fancy, which is very beloved. It’s mostly similar to Fancy Girl, and to my nose neither of those are remotely comparable to the original Fancy, they’re not even sweet or fruity but just heavy and reeking of something akin to sandalwood. I was very disappointed, both with this Forever flanker as well as with Fancy Girl. No litchi, no pear or freesia, no zesty, juicy notes. Even a generic shampoo-ey fruity juicy anything would have been better than the one in these Fancies. Will keep wearing them as in using them, just to finish them and also because people seem to like them. But I absolutely don’t. Not sure why I find them so different compared with other people...

Normally I can deal with a perfume if I don't necessarily like the initial spray but this perfume is so bad for way too long. Initial spray smells very generic, it smells like you're usual run of the mill soapy floral. The dry down process is God awful.. on my skin it smelled like jalapeno chips. It had this weird spice smell to it that lingered for so long. After what felt like forever it dried to a nice scent that I can't remember honestly, I just know it wasn't nice enough for me to keep this perfume.

What a missed opportunity! I was looking for something similar to Floret since it's been discontinued. Based on the notes a group of friends and I were super excited, but nope! A well priced fragrance similar to Petite Cherie or Floret or the also discontinued Maybe Baby would be nice as a Fancy flanker!... Please Jessica give us one more :)

This is GORGEOUS And I am not particularly fond of sweet perfumes BUT this isnt sweet!! This is so grown up, mature, sophisticated but dont worry not in old fashioned way. Even though I love vintages too. This is a solid musky woody scent with almost aldehydic quality. It is deep yet fresh, so hard to describe and unlike anything else.

28 year old guy here. Wore this for the first time to a small birthday gathering for a friend, and got SO MANY compliments. Almost everyone who I came across or talked to gave a nice compliment, asked what it was. Almost every person was shocked that it was a Jessica Simpson and not an expensive designer fragrance.

I don't recall getting a vanilla scent in mine but I did feel the bottle was very bling . I have tried the fancy nights and original fancy and this one was very weak in comparison it smells nice but was too weak for my liking and it was not sweet smelling like fancy either

I am sorry, I did not like it. Basic and, honestly boring, slightly sweet vanilla/tonka combo. The dry down is (to my nose) overwhelming. Nothing special, but I have to admit longevity is pretty good.

I just blind bought this tonight and it reminds me a little of Vince Camuto the original in the white, gold, and red box. I am still testing it but kind of similar to that one.

Its a bit redundant. Like if Fancy Love and Fancy Girl had a fancy baby. Its romantic, a dash of fruity, but nothing to write home about...

I smell patchouli in this. It reminds me of the Jimmy Choo Exotic line
