Amber Patchouli Nights

Really, really beautiful. Sweet amber and rose stand out. I'm surprised rose isn't a listed note, I smell it strongly here. Maybe that's the rose leaf. This does have a green, floral quality.

Ammmm....this one is with best floral accords contrary to its name. Amber patchouli is also there but in background. Mainly this is plenty of flowers like jasmine, tuberose with amazing backup from musk which covers like blanket and amber poking out every time. Opening is with bergamot, peach blossom, magnolia and pomegranate which settles into jasmine, rose, orange blossom and tuberose. Dry down is core phase with woody, amber and patchouli with musk scent overpowering. I would prefer in cool seasons like winters and autumns and specially in nights. It is warm one for cozy evenings and may be used on get together or office party. Silage and longevity are good too. An amazing buy, should try it!

I don't find this spicy or woody. It's just the flowers (tuberose, jasmine) and plenty of musk that covers them like a fluffy blanket, amber peeking through every now and then. It does have the smell vintage powders used to have, delicate, feminine but this is far from that. I find musk a bit overpowering but I have this problem in general, with musk. Cold weather appropriate, for cashmere sweaters and cozy evenings; it's not a sexy scent, but one who reminds me of the feminine, gentler side of a woman. Wouldn't see this worn by a man, it's 100% female oriented.
