Tobacco Wood Nights

The Nights collection from Jesus Del Pozo ALL outperform their price points, Tobacco Wood is definitely no exception. It is an outstanding, dry and spicy tobacco forward fragrance with above average sillage/longevity. I go back and forth between this one and Dark Saffron Nights being my favorite and I think this is the winner at the moment. If you have any interest in tobacco scents at all do yourself a favor and pick this one up immediately. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am by this entire line, it might be the first time I try and obtain an entire collection.

This fragrance is very unique. it is not a linear scent. This fragrance opens with dry woods and a variety of spices. The spice fades after a few minutes and in the middle notes, the dry woods are still there but with a hint of tobacco. Tobacco and leather are not much here. In the base notes, this scent becomes creamy and reminds me of the tomford noir extreme. Overall, this scent reminds me of gc pour homme with dry wood, spices and a bit of smoke in the opening. in the middle, tobacco and wood reminds me of ck one shock and the cream at the end is really like tf noir extreme. Performance is really good. it lasts 10-12 hours on the skin and project really well.

you smell oud, you smell tobacco. It's dry and a bit spicy. But overall it's not very special regarding all the oud fragrances out there (there are tons). So it's okay.

I purchased this from fragrancebuy.ca for around $50usd. Let me start by saying - it’s worth more than $50. I think there’s some good and bad going on here. I’ll start with the good: Price - $50 for a pretty unique scent. Longevity - for those who care - it does last a good while. Scent - as I mentioned, fairly unique. Bad: Linear - what you smell in the beginning is pretty much what you get in the end. Not much development. Bottle - it’s awful. I’ll leave it at that. Alright. Glad that’s out of the way. So the smell? Well, it smells good. It does remind me of another scent that I’m very familiar with: Gucci pour homme. The Long discontinued Tom ford masterpiece. Now don’t go running out and buying this thinking it’s the next coming of gph - it’s not - but it does share the same sour, woodsy note that gph was famous for. Sour - yeah - it is sour. It’s kind of strange. The wood and tobacco combined, strikes me as an almost sour duo. Not citric - just very fresh wood type sour. I’ll stop there because I know this isn’t making sense. I’d hoped for a heavier tobacco - and I can’t decide if the tobacco is really heavy, non existent or in the middle. I think I’m tripped up by the combo. If you’re looking for a GPH Wood with a hit of tobacco - and maybe a little incense - this will be right up your alley. Great release in my opinion.

OMG !! this is strong! The first spray is a bomb of saffron and citrus, which lowers the intensity after a few minutes. Later the sweetness begins to appear, it is sweet tobacco, I can't get much leather note here. It reminds me of some TF fragrances. This it's really good, it's not offensive at any point, I'm a woman and I think I could wear this on certain occasions, the drying is to die for, smooth, sweet tobacco and wood. Especially sweet tobacco and tonka bean. I don't know how this is not more popular, it's really good. Men would like it very much and some women used to oriental perfume would feel very comfortable here. Totally recommended guys!😉

Excellent stuff this. Reminds me of those old cola flavoured iced lollies you used to get when you were a kid. Really bright and fizzy opening, dries down to a sleek woody finish that can be worn in many different scenarios. Not a massive performer but work-safe and classy
