Jimmy Choo Man Ice

It's really tiresome to read so many pretentious comments, trying to justify notable ignorance using clearly predictable topics (of course not all, fortunately it is already seen in the reading who knows what he is talking about, and there are great critics too). Those kinds of comments are common and normal, but totally bland... And most of the time, what they reflect is a notable lack of education: - First, the gratuitous insult to the perfumer, the renowned artist Michel Almairac. - Second, the evident lack of criteria that is useless for anything else other than to confuse. - Third, their toxic and clumsy attempt to justify their prejudices, relying on the fact of praising the most renowned brand and detracting from the other, something so typical... I'd intended to review this fragrance, but after reading so many ignorant incongruity, now I have almost lost my will. But ok, to be brief: Jimmy Choo Man Ice is a great fragrance, especially for sunny days: Fresh, fine and classy. - Average longevity for this kind of fragrance (and if you don't know what I'm talking about, learn first). Great fixation on clothes. - Moderate projection. What I have to say about its "equivalence" with Dior Homme Cologne: Jimmy Choo Man Ice and DHC are in a similar opening, but its dry-down differs exponentially from the first minutes; even their olfactory profiles belong to different olfactory families: JCMI is woody aromatic, with a more complex blend; DHC is citrus aromatic, a much simpler and direct composition. They coincide in the type of occasion that you are going to use one or the other, but they are quite different, actually; you can have both perfectly. Which is better? Well, that is a matter of taste ... But what is undeniable, is that Jimmy Choo Man Ice value for money (now in discounters) is indisputably better. In fact, it's amazing. Dior Homme Cologne is a great fragrance, but for what it is, it's, expensive. To conclude, here you have a great icy-citrus-woody scent with an amazing value for money. A clearly recommended fresh "designer" release.

Killer scent with DEADLY performance (cause it dies in 3 hours) If you're like me and love citrus forward summer scents then it doesn't really get much better than this, I see some places trying sell it for around $100 and it definitely is not worth that much, but if you can get it for around the $40 area like I did then it's a no brainer. It's pretty close to Dior Homme Cologne but by no means is it a clone, it's maybe 75% DHC but it has it's own personality. The JC seems to be a slightly more mass appealing and "generic" take on the DHC dna, it has that generic male fragrance ambroxan note that you are not gonna find in DHC, giving it a bit more punch and fizziness, best way I can describe it is that it feels both were made using the same lemon, DHC using flat water while the JC used sparkling water, not a good or bad thing it's really just a personal preference type thing, if you prefer a more straight up lemon smell and don't mind paying 4x the price then just pick up the DHC, bottle is gorgeous with the best atomizer in the game, but if you prefer your fragrance to smell more like a normal perfume then get the JC and you also save quite a bit of money, the JC atomizer is also surprisingly good! Performance wise both fragrances really perform about the same, good projection for abour an hour, skin scent by the 3rd hour and fully gone by hour 5, both are great for maybe running errands and going to the gym, but only viable for a long day if you carry a travel size with you.

I remember the first time I smelled Jimmy Choo Man Ice, my eyes rolled in the back of my head and stayed there. It has a scent that gives you a feeling of exhilaration and is sure to put a childish smirk on your face. It's a frosty, creamy lemonade scent. Very brisk. Smells like a pitcher of lemonade filled with lots of sugar, and lots of ice cubes. That vetiver punch makes it all the more better. To me, this is one of the best citrus + woody aromatic fragrances out there within its price range. Period. The smell, for what you pay for, is simply genius and it's no surprise that it continues to sell very well. At one point, I made the silly decision to sell my original bottle to a friend of mine and my gf lost it. She immediately purchased a brand new bottle for me and told me to never sell it ever again....LOL. Nowadays I can't imagine it NOT being in my collection. Unfortunately, it is lacking in the longevity department. I have to spray it more than usual just to get it to stick and last on my skin for longer periods of time. And that's with all Jimmy Choo releases it seems. Also, this is actually the only release of the Jimmy Choo line that I actually like and still reigns supreme as one of my top favorites. If Jimmy Choo Man Ice had an improvement in its overall longevity, it would blow similar fragrances that are priced much more out of the damn water. Longevity gets a 6 out of 10. Performance 7 out of 10 Smell gets a 15 out of 10. It's really a genius scent...

Ok so I originally fell in love with Dior Homme Cologne. Full bottle worthy retail for me. Well I stumbled on the Jimmy Choo at a rack store for cheap, read the reviews, said what the hell, and bought it just to see. I really liked it. I thought it was a nice juice, just not as smooth and interesting as the Dior, so I gave it to a friend of mine. Fast forward: I was hanging with my friend, and he smelled AMAZING. I had no idea what it was. I asked him, and he said "Jimmy Choo"! I'll be damned. How did I not recognize it? Well, a few weeks pass.. hanging with him again... I was like, DAMN son you smell so good, what is that? Yet again, I was smitten.. dat JIMMY CHOO! This one definitely does not get enough love. I'm guilty too, I gave it away! No bull, this is some sleeper juice on the cheap. Very nice scent trail when walking behind him. He said 4 maybe 5 sprays. I could sense it for about 5-6 hours. It was not the lemonade vibe we get in the opening, but that alluring musk that reveals itself in the drydown. Very nice presentation as well, with a pressurized atty. Goes to show that we should tread lightly when making judgments about fragrances. Either a fragrance does not reveal its whole story all at once, or more likely, we as humans are just not patient and receptive enough to hear that story. This went from a like, to a LOVE TLDR: Get it cheap, spray a heap, thank me later.

De todas las fragancias cítricas que he podido oler, ésta, sin duda alguna, es la ganadora y la que más intensidad de sensación cítrica transmite. Y es que una vez que su delicioso aroma toco mis sentidos, ya no hubo vuelta atrás... ya no pude despegar mi nariz de mi muñeca y, tampoco quiero. Otra fragancia muy, muy, muy parecida y que aparentara ser un clon exacto es la Dior Homme Cologne (la cual está mucho más cara). Y otra también similar, pero con un toque más serio es la Montblanc Legend Spirit (EDT) la cual está a un mejor costo que la Dior.

Just got this in from one of my favorite discounters, so you know the price was right. Definitely wouldn't dream of paying retail for this. I'm not really getting the "lemonade" scent profile that a lot of people seem to bring up. I legit smell that classic "honeysuckle" scent from my childhood. Quite pleasant! I like this, not love this. We'll see if that changes over time. Definitely happy with my purchase though! UPDATE 09/04/2025: It's starting to go from "like" to "love" honestly. I get about 3 hours of longevity before it becomes a skin scent, which is fine for this. Now that the weather is cooling off I've started wearing Sauvage Elixir again every once in a while and sometimes when it gets a little heavy... I'll spray some Jimmy Choo Man Ice on an arm or in the air just to lighten it up a little and it's GREAT for that! UPDATE 09/20/2025: Okay, I full blown love this now. It's outstanding for the gym and it actually lasts a solid 6 hours now before turning into a skin scent. I've consistently gotten 6 or so hours, not just once or twice. Really solid performance. I'm thrilled!

Great summer freshie with a real bright refreshing vibe but don't expect much in the performance department. If you don't mind re applying every couple hours this is a solid pick up especially for the price. Clean, bright, citrus' and woody very refreshing in the high heat with a cooling aspect to it. Side Note: You can be 15-20 sprays deep and still won't be anywhere close to choking anyone out with this. I'm not joking when I say don't expect much in the performance department. I just really enjoy the scent so I don't mind also it's affordable and won't break the bank to restock my shelf. My personal Ratings Scent: 7.75/10 Longevity: 3/10 Projection: 3/10 Price: 8.9/10 ($30 bucks for 100ml on most discounters can't complain) Overall: 7.25/10 (Solid pick up but if you want something in a similar style with better performance take a stab at literally any of the first five fragrances in the "This reminds me of" section... I've personally clocked DHC in the 8+ hour range but I have an older bottle and can not speak on the newer reformulation)

I haven't been too adventurous interns of fragrances , Ii've been always In my safe spot , I have remained in my citrus and herbal area . Nevertheless, this Jimmy Choo has surprised me, because it is refreshing, gives the feeling of cold and freshness but all green, but at the same time it is powerful with and strong presence . It is not a plain lemon, citrus or bergamot that fades after a few minutes. After feeling the mandarin and other citrus fruits declared at the beginning that looks quite familiar, it develops to an ice cube with a lemon inside , a kind of bitter lemon but not in the annoying way. .I'm a faithful lover of Issey Miyake, and yet Jimmy Choo Man Ice doest not share many notes, It felt like it could be an Issey Miyake Arctic Fresh more than anything else, like a Samurai Frozen in time . I was enchanted, but it wasn't love at first sight.

The first time I wore this, I sprayed each wrist right out of the shower around 6pm. It's a beautiful citrus bomb, very similar to DHC (not 1:1, but very close). The first couple hours of projection were great. I went to bed around 9pm still smelling fantastic. I woke at 6am and the fragrance had turned skin scent as expected, but the woodiness was still there. I think most people complaining about the performance on this one are just going noseblind to the freshness. And that's expected from these types of scent profiles. Don't spray near your face when testing fragrances. Noseblind is a real thing. 100ml for $30 of this is an absolute steal. Compliment magnet with decent performance and great for our long hot summers down here on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.

I have bias because my father wore this a lot however i rate this fragrance perfectly the price isnt much as its 50 eur for a 100ml bottle and its a good fragrance to use for the car, for yourself, or to literally use as an air freshener. The performance is easily 6h+ and projection isnt that great but the smell is lovely. The scent is initially disappointing with just pure LEMON being the only thing you smell, but on the dry down it becomes more complex and manly. The atomizer feels pressurized and the bottle is decent, it has a white leather cap. To me the first thing i thought of was versace eros with the loud but not headache inducing smell and no mint in turn a really fresh, citrus scent with no mint.

This is a wonderful bright, budget friendly high heat fragrance. The note composition and blending in this fragrance is actually done quite very well especially considering the price. You have a very refreshing and slightly zingy opening due to the heavy citrus notes and in the background you’ll get a very slight tinge of the apple along with the musk, vetiver etc.. Go heavy on the trigger with this one as performance is lacking and respray as needed but considering it’s a citrus dominant fragrance and the low price I won’t complain too much. The bottle itself is also very sharp and nice looking and suits the fragrance perfectly. The atomizer is perfectly pressurized and sprays extremely smoothly.

This is a Dior Homme Cologne KILLER! I have DHC and bought a small bottle of Jimmy Choo Man Ice to try out as I had seen a couple of Youtube cologne influencers give glowing reviews at its similarities to DHC. I was stunned to realize that I no longer will be buying DHC, Jimmy Choo Man Ice is stronger, lasts longer and has the same lemonade-like citrus musk with more of a woody hint to it that really resonated with me. And wearing it at work, a few people gave me compliments. Out of curiosity, I brought my bottle of DHC and Jimmy Choo Ice with me and asked which one was better, Jimmy Choo Ice was the winner. Well done Jimmy Choo! Two thumbs up! And at a much cheaper price tag as well! Impressive.

Amazing cheapie. If you want Dior Cologne similarity without spending as much. Get this! I honestly get good Longevity. 6 hours I'd say. For a freshy at this price, can't go wrong. I think people don't realize you can become nose blind to this and also it works much better if you wear it in the hot sun and not just any day of the week. You'll get more Longevity if you save it for those days and don't forget to moisturize! If you have dry skin, it's probably why you don't get good Longevity. I moisturize the areas I spray my cologne on and I get much better Longevity from all my colognes. This is a solid 8/10 for me. Will buy again!

I own Mercedes Benz cologne and DHC. This does the job if you don’t want to pay Dior prices well MCB is discontinued now so hard today even get and 2nd hand prices are to high for it as well. This is good if you want to get a bottle or tester for like under 35$. Good for school or if you aren’t really into fragrances. I just love this kind of DNA. I would advise just to save money and buy DHC. We know these don’t have the best performance it’s well known. But it’s not over dramatic bad like everyone else leads to believe plus the scent is divine. JCMI scent is still good and for the pric it’s worth having

This fragrance starts of like a freshly squized lemon smell and is very citrusy-fresh. Dior homme colognes smaller brother, i do like homme colognemaybe 2% better but this is a better value for money for sure and maybe a little more versatile as well since it has some light woody base in it. Performance is average great, for a sunny, hot day. U wear it when its apropriate to drink a refreshing lemonade. The citrus acctualy lasts and smells pretty good especialy for such price. Also one great thing is the bottle and pressureised atpmizer! overall awesome stuff!

This one is a great all-round citrus freshie that reminds me strongly of Bohemian Lime by Goldfield and Banks, with a bit more of a woody base. It's a citrus bomb off the top end, along with woods and slight musk in the dry down. Overall it is not cloying with the citrus, and contains just enough other notes to keep things from going in a "lemon pledge" direction. Also, though it is listed as a "man" fragrance, this is a lot closer to unisex for me. At the price, you cannot beat it as a no-brainer reach when you just need to throw something on to smell fresh.

After sitting on the fence for about 3 months, I finally bought this. I also own DHC and MB Cologne and they are all very similar DNA. To be honest, this Jimmy Choo Man Ice smells really good and the performance is not as bad as what some reviews make it out to be. I live in a tropical hot humid climate and this one performs decently. Just overspray on skin and shirt and you're good to go for the next 2-3hrs outdoors or 3-4hrs in a/c with decent projection and scent bubble. It's really not that bad. Don't judge based on the reviews here, try it yourself.

Smells awesome, however first few times I wore it I was disappointed it didn't last longer. An hour later the smell was basically gone. Yesterday was a hot, humid day so I decided to over spray (12-15 sprays, 3 on each forearm, around 8 on the chest/neck area, for me that's over spraying) & see what would happen... BANGER! It lasted much, much longer & didn't have the over spray intoxicating bubble I usually get with other fragrances. As a pure hot summer fragrance at this price, I don't mind having to over spray, definitely worth it!

Wearing Jimmy Choo Man Ice on right arm, Dior Homme Cologne on left arm and they are very very similar. JCMI is the slightest bit softer and sweeter whereas the DHC has the slightest bit more citrusy tanginess in the opening and is a bit drier. Both are lovely refreshing lemonade high summer fragrances. I'm glad I have both but will be happy using JCMI on a daily basis given the incredible value it is and will use the DHC when I want that slightly tangier drier vibe. Scent: 8 / Sillage: 6 / Longevity: 6

Sweet Lemon, White Musk, and Ambroxan. Thats it lol. But it works esp as a summer frag. Projection and longevity last longer in the summer heat. So you can prob get like 4-5 hours out of it on a good day. Spray liberally. Like 10-12 sprays. Perfect situation for this frag is a summer cook-out imo. I also wear it for errands. However, I was told that as it macerates it gets more potent so I am hoping it does so. It’s a decent buy if you are looking for this type of scent.

I admit, I'm a sucker for citrus forward fragrances so I LOVE this frag. That being said, this is a pretty simple fragrance. Starts out bright and lemony. Gets a bit sweeter with apple in the mid while lemon dies down. Dry down is pleasant but nothing special. Very fresh frag that I really enjoy. Sometimes, all I want is a simple, linear, citrus based scent that's inexpensive enough that I can spray as much as I want and not care. This hits the spot. Thanks!

Ohh this is goooood! This is an aquatic, clean fresh Citrus. Warm weather friendly with faint sun lotion vibes. This reminds me of being in a fancy seaside resort's rooftop having drinks with a date or with friends overlooking the boats and ppl watching on the boardwalk. Mostly a male fragrance, but can slightly be unisex (not feminine fruity or sweet at all). If someone wearing this would walk passed me, I would turn to look. Enjoy, hope this helps ツ

I absolutely love DHC, but the price tag isn't worth the longevity of the juice inside. Jimmy Choo Man Ice is the perfect substitute at a fraction of the cost. People complain about the performance but let's face it... performance is terrible on DHC too. I spray about 3-4 more sprays than I would DHC and it lasts the same amount of time. A perfect frag for this Texas heat and cheap enough to reapply as needed. Just found a new summer favorite.

Incredible value makes this a beast to just throw on and run errands around town. I have a travel spray loaded up with this so I can always reapply as necessary and believe me when I say, you'll need to reapply every 2-3 hours. Though, other than the performance this one is still in my top 3 for cheap summer frags that still smell amazing. On a hunch, I went around my local second-hand/discounter stores and found this at Ross for $23. STEAL!

Imagine a lemonade with the sweetness taken out, and woods and musk added underneath. Boom, you have Jimmy Choo Man Ice. This stuff is fantastic and I find it relaxing / comforting. Initially uplifting but then becomes a refreshing & comforting masculine scent. This is mainly because the 'ice' effect only lasts maybe 20 minutes. And holy shit is the atomizer good, you'll want to spray this on just because of that atomizer.

Great fragrance for the summer. It performs better than most people give it credit for, at least on my skin. 4+ hours of longevity and an hour of good projection. It smells like lemonade, but with a masculine undertone that gives depth. If you are looking for a photorealistic lemonade/lemon fragrance, this isn't it. Smells extremely refreshing though, and for the price you may as well bathe in it.

My son owns this and I absolutely love the smell. He’s really into gourmand scents so this is very different for him. I’m a female and would love to find something similar for women. He hit the nail on the head when he said it reminds him of freshly washed hair. It’s not sharp or overwhelming in the citrus department - it’s just right. Do you guys know of anything along the same vein for women?

Its a beauty!....orange rind,wood,musk....very fresh and clean sexy...almost unisex...could see why women would like this on a man and vice versa....its damn sexy!....it kind of reminds me of Dior Homme in terms of vibe but not the lipstick iris....you can get a 30 ml for $21.99...its a blind buy for sure....just smelled it again on the test strip and it so reminds me of Dior Homme.

It's like...fresh lemonade with masculine soap, a gentle cedar breeze, and hot, clean skin. Light, fresh, and pulls me in. It's sexy but not like...punch me in the face, force me to look sexy. Subtle, quiet, refreshing sexy. This how I hope the kind, funny hot guy who doesn't know he's hot smells. Blind bought it for my boyfriend, zero regrets.

Oh how I love you Jimmy Choo Man Ice. This is singlehandedly the best dumb reach fragrance I own. Dior Homme Cologne for 30 bucks with a pressurized atomizer?? Sold me. Everyday wear in casual or day trips, extremely mass pleasing and easy to wear. Only problem is it has the same longevity as if I were to spray a puff of my inhaler on my skin.

I have to admit, this fragrance took me by surprise. I blind bought it from the shoppers $20 dollar section and when I smelt it I loved it. This is just summer in a bottle. When I think of summer I think of this smell, just an amazing blend of citrus notes and the dry down reminds me of LV imagination. Great buy and would highly recommend.

I love this fragrance its very pleasing to my nose. The opening reminds me of the sweetest lemonade I ever smelt; but I don't get great performance. The silver lining for this fragrance is its price is usually pretty cheap so I can spray it on as many times as I want to and people aren’t going to get too offended. My pockets either.

Great bang for your buck,smells similar to DHC,iced lemonade with some sweetness and a bit of musk,can smell a little bit synthetic if oversprayed but overall it smells really nice and pleasant,i will only wear it during the summer days when i need something to freshen me up,lasts around 5 hours on my skin with ok projection.7.5/10

It's currently microwave-hot in the desert and I am rocking this scent like a defensive blanket of sweet citrus juice! Highly recommended! It has no neroli in the scent pyramid, but still got the same vibe with Ferrari Bright Neroli and also Burberry Summer for Men. Weak projection and longevity but still love it!

Genuinely so underrated. Sharp fresh smell with just enough complexity to be unique, but not so inundated that it becomes an issue for casual, everyday wear. Longevity is average at best however. Blind buy and first Jimmy Choo scent, but will definitely try more and hope that they are of this same quality. 8.5/10

To me this smells just like dior's eau sauvage, maybe not as mossy tho. Smells like lemon candy or lemonade to me. Will be wearing this in the high high heat as its very invigorating. Atomiser is fantastic btw Pretty weak performance but if you can get this for less than 40euro then its completely worth it.

Love this! This smells like a hybrid between the Dior Cologne (musky/spicy) and the Allure Homme Sport Cologne (sweet orange). It smells refreshing, citrusy, the kind of scent you can overspray heavily in the hot months. Quality and projection are decent, and for the price this is a no brainer.

This is my "4711 cologne-style" fragrance that doesn't smell like an old man. No Jasmine. No old - school greenness vibe from geranium. Just pure burst of icy lemonade. I don't need TF Neroli Portofino, Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli, Ferrari Bright Neroli any further. This hits my spot.

Highly complimented. Great for hot summer days. Longevity isn’t great, but not as horrible as some people say. Very relaxing and not overpowering scent. I love it right out of the shower. For around $30 it’s as good as it gets. I will probably get another bottle when it runs out.

This smells amazing for like 3 hours lol. It’s a nice summer scent but doesn’t really last and that’s the only downfall but to be fair you can always fill up an atomizer to respray later. And it’s worth spraying a lot since you can get a 200ml for like 45 bucks at discounters.

Ice was my first ever cologne purchase I made back in 2017 & this bad boy will forever be in my collection . this is a hot/humid weather signature clean scent, imagine walking beachside on a hot day with a ice cold sprite in hand, that's what you're getting with this bad boy

This fragrance, (along with uomo signature by SF) are probably the best rack store finds ever, unfortunately got a 50ml but that doesn't matter as i can always rebuy this for sure, also really love this fragrance a lot

Ice cold refreshing cup of home made lemonade that my grandma used to make. It does not smell cheap and sytnhetic. Very natural lemon. It is a great hot and humid summertime scent. 4+ hours. Love it. Blind buy worthy.

I love this scent , especially on the initial spray.Its a definite love for the scent. The issue is that it doesnt last and it has poor projection. If that can be sorted out then this will be a force to reckon with .

Found this at Macys for a ok price and for the price the smell is nice and it smells like a lemonade but it doesn’t last super long The bottle is very high quality and has a pressurized atomizer.

My scent of choice for the gym, no matter what the season! A cross between Dior Homme Cologne and Goldfield and Banks Bohemian Lime. Got my 100ml bottle for A$60. Excellent value!

Very citrusy opening and its fresh , but dry down is interesting, it's becoming musky and powdery, i mean dry down is really unisex🙂 for me its good scent for summer and gym also.

Bomb Pop. I absolutely love this one for smelling like that on me too. This one is a summer staple if you have it within your collection, and if you don't have it.... Get it.
