Jimmy Choo Man

Hi there friends, I told myself I wouldn't buy this but I did anyways. It's addictive, light, fresh, and fun. Great for the office because you can't over-spray and would be best worn in spring/summer. The good: If you like Bleu de Chanel, of MB Legend type frags, than you will love this! For me, BdC was not appealing because of the incense and slightly perfumey dry down. I would almost call this light bleu, or bleu fresh. For my nose, I can't pick out the melon and pineapple individually but I believe the pink pepper blends them very well, and that the patchouli tones them down so that you don't have a screaming pineapple note like in MB Legend Intense, or Black XS L'exces. What I find is great about this scent is it's performance on clothing and material. The scent of sweet n'dirty suede is highly addictive and lovely (great in the car or on a coat). Women love it and I have received 3 compliments in 5 wearings. The bad: Skin Scent almost instantly - projection is very weak and silliage is not noticeable after 2 hours. If you're sick of the BdC and Legend, Fierce type scents then this will be very tired and boring. For me, I love the scent and I don't like cloying fragrances so it's great! If you do want something that performs really well I'd stick with Bleu de Chanel if you want something heavy. I am happy I bought this, not entirely sure if I would buy again though. It reminds me of a mix between Estee Lauder's Beyond Paradise and BdC with a sweeter interpretation of the leathery dry down found in older frags like Quorum.

Initial review was off a paper sample. I bought this one and it's way fruitier and less leather than I was expecting. It doesn't hurt the fragrance much though, it just doesn't get to that exact suede note except on paper after a long time I suppose. Still settles down into that musky patchouli on clothes. Sweet, fresh, musky, a little soapy, hint of leather mainstream masculine. Good performance to me. Signature scent worthy. I can't see myself not having a bottle of this around; I opted for the 200ml. I can wear this anywhere. Definitely worthy of being Jimmy Choo's headliner "Man" fragrance. It's criminally underrated. It should be as popular as Dior Sauvage which I'm not a fan of. It's so good if you're tired of citrus heavy fragrances. Based off initial paper sample: it's a great formal leather smell. Takes me right into a men's suit store. I wonder if the scent would even be noticeable combined with formal wear considering how close the smell is to a fresh suit with leather shoes and belt. Some people mentioned "new car smell" and that's very apt. It's something I'm considering picking up considering the price. However, perhaps you'd want something that makes more of a statement for a formal affair. It's simple, masculine, mass appealing. You can smell great without smelling like you try hard.

It took me a while to realize that Anne Flipo, who created Jimmy Choo Man, is one of the perfumers who was behind Invictus. I guess that's why this smells (to me at least) like 75% Invictus coupled with 25% Sauvage. The opening is super sweet, as the melon dominates the pineapple. This might still be too sweet for some, but it helped me realize melon and pineapple are two of my favorite top notes in a fragrance. The melon helps take away from the zing of the pineapple, but the pineapple helps prevent this from leaning too feminine. It's like opening a super fresh fruit salad, and it doesn't smell all that synthetic. The mid/base notes are more in line with how Sauvage opens, the melon blends into this peppery spice, minus the ambroxan. I get every bit of 6-7 hours on my skin with the first 2-3 radiating pretty strong off my skin. This will smell familiar and might be forgettable pretty quickly, but it's a good enough blend to warrant a try for the spring/summer if you can find it for a reasonable price. 8/10

FIrst time today with a full wearing and I just wanna say this is a terrific smelling fragrance! I see where people are saying that there is a slight nod to BdC. I sort of get that in the very first few minutes of the opening....but honestly, it’s fleeting and not really all that close to my nose. What I do get in the dry down though is something that reminds me of a more mature version of A&F First Instinct believe it or not. Kind of this semi-sweet fruity/airy/spicy/suede thing going on. Very nice!!! People complain about longevity, but I used 3 sprays(on clothes, in full disclosure)applied 7hrs ago and I still smell it just fine. I would even say the first 3-4hrs it was projecting nicely. Sure, it’s nothing super unique...but at $26 for a 100ml, it’s a great smelling and good performing frag IMO. Very pleased with this blind buy! EDIT-this things gets AMAZING compliments from woman. Seriously, if your looking for a very versatile fragrance that is a compliment monster....look no further!

I love this scent because it is so mass appealing. I know a lot of people hate that. But i like it because it is a very generic and safe scent. It smells like the Hollister stores in the mall when you walk by or any of those hipster places that soak everything in their house colognes lol. I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said. Good enough for that $35 mark or if you can find it cheaper. It lasts about 4 hours tops. I wore this the other night going over to a friends house and we only stayed maybe from like 5-845. It lasted that whole time but when i got home around 9 it was basically a skin scent. Maybe if you spray your clothes it'll last longer but i didn't even bother. It's a good dumb reach scent for going out and not caring if you leave a 6 foot trail behind you. It's not meant for that. That is what the other Intense version does and the Blue. This is good for what it is. I say if you can find a 30, 50 or 100ml for anything under $35.. just snatch it up.

This fragrance is a very frustrating for the following reasons. It ticks almost every box, ALMOST. The bottle itself is beautiful, elegant. Fits perfectly in the hand. The lid has a leather type look to it, very classy. Feels like high end fragrance. The atomizer is probably the best atomizer I have ever seen. A beautiful generous spray flows out of it. The scent itself is gorgeous, masculine and luxurious. One of my favorites, it would be my signature scent if it wasn't for the last remaining box to be ticked, the performance. Performance is non existent. It vanishes within an hour, and its a skin fragrance for most of that hour. Very very frustrating, this could have been box office stuff, I can never understand why these designers put such a below par performing product out there. Have a little pride in your work. Make it stand out from the crowd.

CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED. This smells SO good, I've gotten a ton of compliments from it too. I paid close to retail for it and I still don't regret it. I will concede that you have to spray HEAVY to get it to stick & project but the final result is phenomenal. Now that this is in the $40 range I'll buy it to replace my bottle. I tried to go the Coach route but I don't like it. Ironically I got the HUGE bottle of Coach for dirt cheap but something in the DNA gives me an instant headache. I'm not a headache guy either. For $35ish you can't go wrong on this. Maybe it just works well on my bodys chemistry, there's a lot of crowd favorites I hate but I genuinely LOVE this cologne.

Rating : 10 / 10 Price : Affordable This is a hidden gem!! This is such an office friendly scent, inoffensive, subtle sweet, adequately citrusy, and aromatic. Im talkin abt formal versatility here Yes, it has weaker character. Maybe generic. But which means it has amazing balance between scents Strong characteristic repels allround versatilty and can be polarizing Weak characteristic does NOT! That's the point If someone has no interest in digging fragrance journey, but just need a formal "okay" fragrance, THIS IS IT!! The melon note right after it's drydown reminds me of B.D.C parfum.. Easier version of bleu de chanel. Period. Go for it guys

Wore this everyday until the bottle ran out and felt very clean and masculine, young and casual, not too sweet but didn’t project and didn’t last long, out of the shower vibes. Really liked the scent but I started looking into other styles, I would recommend to buy it if you get a good deal on it, just to have a nice all around smell, great for gifts, the bottle its really nice, I wish I can try the intense version at a later time. I was very satisfied with this purchase while I had it, but I wanted something that had a better performance.

I am a fan of Chanel Bleu and here in Brazil I can only buy it in Chanel store, with a price of U $ 100 for a 3.4oz bottle, my bottle finished last week, and I went to Sephora and tried this Jimmy Choo man, the first hour have 90% of simillarity with Bleu, and it last for more 5 hours with 60% of Bleu, so I decided to buy a 6.7oz Bottle for U $ 50,00 and apply it for each 4 hours, that was an exceptional choice. Fragance : 9.5/10 (fruity with pepper open and leathery dry down) Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 6/10 Price: 10/10 Overall: 8/10

Such a wonderful scent. Especially taking into consideratiin the price and the fact that it is just a designer scent. I am in love with the drydown. So beautiful. It starts off kinda fresh and citrusy but after an hour or two it become more spicy and leathery. It smells awsome on my skin. I will definitely start using my bottle which I by the way got as a gift from my cousine. Otherwise I would have never even tried it. Scent: 8.5/10 (that is very good for a designer perfume) Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Price: Excellent!!!

Jimmy Cho Man is a fragrance that is perfect if you're looking for something not too expensive and that smells pretty great. The fragrance overall has a very sweet scent that is combined with some woody and fresh scents sprinkled in with a little spice. A great starter fragrance and probably one of the most popular in the Jimmy Cho collection. However, the only downside is that it doesn't last very long and the sweet makes it something not that wearable daily. Other than that its an alright cologne.

Smells so good and masculine. Love the curved rectangular bottle. Very comfortable in hand. The metal accents are fingerprint resistant and you can see yourself HD in the reflection. The gator printed leather like cap is grippy and snaps on well. A bit tough to get off initially. It actually popped off and hit me in the eye the first time I went to open it lol. The atomizer works very well. The opening is sweet and fruity, then it gets more musky and manly as it dries down. One of my top scents.

I got this by suggestion from a friend, and it smells PHENOMENAL. For about an hour. I've learned to take the bottle with me. Seriously, ten sprays, and it's gone quickly. It's not possible to overdo this stuff. I will write this: why any of you on here will go spend department store prices on this stuff when you can buy a tester on eBay for a fraction of the cost is beyond me. I got a 3.4 oz. for $30, while Sephora and Macy's is selling for $85. Buy online, and Christmas can be all year long!

Smells really frickin good but it doesn’t really project beyond a foot, no matter how many sprays you put on. Perfect if you don’t want to smell super crazy or noticeable but still want a pleasant skin scent, and it is very versatile. I think that this fragrance can suit literally occasion, time of day, or season. The scent is unique and mature, without being either too youthful or giving any trace of an old man cologne at all. Recommend for men and teens of all ages.

Smells amazing, but just doesn't last very long. You can get around that by reapplying if you can, so it could be one you keep in your desk drawer or bag to spray again midday. It's light, quite sweet, and very much lavender. If you like "blue" fragrances this is probably in your wheelhouse - though it is something different from the aquatics, or the Versace Eros/Bleu De Chanel vibe. Great scent - pity it doesn't last longer as it would be five stars otherwise.

I must say ..the juice in this goes pretty bad fairly quickly. I've had fragrances stay good in my storage for over 5 years...When I first bought this. My wife would just fall apart...I pulled this out for the first time in over a year....and it was an herbal hell..my wife kept telling me to go to my side of the bed.....not happy about that lol..looked up the batch code...it IS almost 4 years old...but still. I've never had a frag go bad before

Pleasent cologne. Tend to sit closer to skin with low longevity, few sprays can help push the scent out. The cologne starts with a prominent tropical pineapple and slow fades into a fruity sweet masculine scent. In the air it smells like a playful mid 20s fresh attention grabber type of scent. Evening/late night type of scent that can turn heads. Would not recommend wearing this daily, but only as evening outing. recommend smaller bottle.

I bought this for 20euros which is fantastic for the scent everything about it is good. its the defenition of a designer fragrance. The problem is longevity and projection which arent good so not many people can smell you but the intense version fixes that but the scent is slighly sweeter but its still fresh and perfect for warm weather. Extremely7 underrated scent- 9/10 projection 4.5/10 longevity-4/10

Why doesn't this one get more love? The scent is beautiful and I always get compliments from the ladies with this one. Sure, it doesn't last that long and the name "Jimmy Choo" doesn't sound cool. Well, maybe that's why it doesn't get love. Still, I love it and I'll keep rocking it. Also, this is the BEST sprayer I've ever seen on a bottle.

This is a wonderful scent. I get a sweet, fruity, fresh, lavender, musky, and a little bit leathery scent. It smells really good to me. My boyfriend is gone and he wears this sometimes.. So!! I went to Ulta and INHALED this fragrence until the notes made a home inside my nostrils and I was lightheaded.. It's so good. I miss him. I think he's the man Jimmy Choo was speaking of when he named this fragrence.

Got this as a gift from my girlfriend and I've had my bottle for about 10 months now. It's a very lovely not too heavy scent. Easily my most complimented by my friends at school and a few teachers. The only problem is the longevity but the projection is moderate.

I haven't worn this as I'm a woman, but I smelled it the other day and it smelled like heaven. This is seriously one of the best colognes I've smelled. I think this would make a great signature scent as it seems appropriate for almost any occasion.

I've received 5x as many compliments about this than any other Cologne i've ever worn. It's an absolute dark horse. It may be a touch simplistic but who cares, the scent is great and for me it has good projection and is a very easy wear.

A 'gay' perfume? Well, heck, if this is a 'gay' perfume I'm all for it! I'm going to turn every guy I know on to this understated, warm, cozy smelling 'gay' perfume. Thank you for the heads up. [insert Sophia Loren side-eye here]

Man this is good, it has good projection, the smell is very nice and sweet, but its the smell is kinda simple, the bottle looks so good, very underrated perfume. 9/10 projection: 7.5/10 smell: 9/10

Very nice fresh scent, smells like a clean fresh load of laundry, very versatile but not very attention seeking. I wear it every night that i’m staying in the house, and can’t get tired of it

A safe, fresh, fruity, well balanced and modern scent. Very similar to coach which I like that too. A delightful aroma. I really like it.

Smells like savauge + dylan blue. For the price 10/10. Pineapple comes through on top with pepper over a dylan blue like fragrance.

Kind of really surprised in this. Smells really good on my skin, but as everyone has stated this stuff is super quiet and underwhelming. Not a bad thing I guess? Just means that people will only smell me when they're within half arms reach. This won't punch anybody in the face even after 7 sprays. Also only within the first hour. The thing that surprised me was the compliments; straight up it just gets compliments and works. I recieved this as a gift for christmas and decided to wear it to a christmas lunch the same day because why not (i had the bottle with me, i had to respray every 2 or so hours because it dies really quick) and I got 3 compliments on my first time wearing it. I sprayed it 15 mins before the event in the car ride there. 2 of them where from a greeting hug, the classic "omg you smell really nice!" kind of compliment. And the other was from my partner about 3 hours later in close passing, she got a whiff of it (ive never owned it before) and was like "omg you smell amazing what is that?? Is that the one you got as a gift? please wear it more often it smells beautiful!" So like yeah, its super generic, but a really great generic at that. Smells like a very well kept young man. under 30. Super safe, any occasian, any weather, dressed up or dressed down. Impossible to overspray, and becomes skin scent within 1 hour maybe less. If you plan on wearing this to the office, you're going to have to actually take it into the office and keep it in your locker and spray it on right as you start your shift. Its that kind of frag, but dont let that scare you off. I kind of really like it scent wise, im not personally super impressed with it as I have WAY nicer frags, but this stuff is absolutely pleasing to other people when close by. Kind of annoying because I own aventus and was planning to wear aventus but it never gets any comments on me so I figured why not try this, and what do ya know. Nice! also, the bottle is literally stunning. Generic young man smell but the bottle deserves to be sitting at the front. It's pretty. 8/10 may purchase again, simply for its reachablility/keep it in the work locker/ it absolutely gets compliments and gets the job done in close quarters. No risk factor. If this stuff had better performance it would be a proper hit and must have. You can definitely get way better performace for your money, but on discount im going to regularly buy this.

Well, what can I say- I loved it when it first came out! But then again I was 15 and not-that-into fragrances when it first came out. Seeing as the only fragrances I wore at that time were Cool Water and Paul Smith Extreme (i.e cheap stuff), this smelled really good to my nose by comparison. But now, I realise that I probably liked it because it's really boring. Not a bad fragrance by any means, but just really, really boring. I think the mistake is the dominant note of suede. Suede is not a note that I hear many people saying they love or enjoy, and in my opinion it's what makes this so linear. Plus it masks some of the other notes-I get next to no lavender and only a trace of pink pepper. If these notes were a bit more dominant, it might make the fragrance more complex and interesting. But sadly no. It's pleasant but there's absolutely no wow factor. Another big problem is performance-it's awful. No sillage whatsoever and gone within an hour on my skin. It's one of those fragrances where you can just FEEL how watery it is as soon as you spray it on. After trying numerous methods/areas of application, I've learned that it's a hopeless case-it's just not designed to last To add insult to injury, it's bloody expensive. My 30ml bottle cost £30 and that was on sale. In my opinion, such crappy performance is unforgivable even for a bargain-basement fragrance, so Jimmy Choo are really taking the biscuit by charging so much for this. All in all, this is not worth buying. It won't wow you, and other people won't get a chance to be wowed by it unless they bury their face in your neck, as it will be all but gone within a very short time. Despite being very light and fruity, I can't even call it a good summer fragrance because there are so many better, cheaper options out there-Cool Water, Eau Fraiche, L'eau D'Issey, heck even CK One, just to name a few. Really don't waste your money on this-it's an insult to the fragrance market. 3/10

I recently reviewed the Jimmy Choo Man line. I thought I would return the original Man, since it’s been a few years First Pass - Sweet. Leather. Citrus. Lavender? A little floral 2 Hours Later - Sweet. Fruity. Leather, bordering on powder. Some citrus notes around the edges 4 Hours Later - Sweet, sweet leather. Powder, Citrus, Floral, and Lavendar notes have vanished. Overall - I agree with my review below. Jimmy Choo Man is an exemplary leather scent. The fruit sweetness paired with the floral, spicy note from the lavender ensure it’s not a one-hit-wonder. ***previous review*** 11.10.2023 First Pass - I like this. Fruity. Maybe some amber and citrus? It's interesting Not surprised to see pineapple and melon in the pyramid. Pink pepper and lavender are also listed, which might have given a sharpness I thought was citrus. In any event, I suspect they are heavy contributors to what I find interesting 1 Hour Later - Even sweeter now. Still quite fruity. I'm getting some firm wood notes peeking through. Amber is stronger. Some earthiness, but not sure which direction it will go, maybe musk? I'm glad to see musk and flowers omitted from the build. The earthiness I got was either patchouli or the suede One Interesting note about this bottle (3.3oz). The atomizer sprays about 50% more fluid than a typical nozzle. Those that follow my reviews know that I only wear one spritz on my chest, so I expected to find the surfeit overwhelming Surprisingly it wasn't. In fact, even with the application excess, I found this scent to be slightly weaker than the average cologne. A nonissue for me Overall - In my experience, floral scents combine with cashmeran/suede/leather to make a powdery concoction, which I don't like. Here, the fruity opening fades wonderfully to the suede backbone. This is how leather scents should be done ***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

Honestly ignore all the bad reviews for this fragrance. The patchouli is such a masculine overpowering smell, and very common in men's perfumery but here it isn't too offensive and unique. The atomizer is 9/10 very good pressured atomizer and the scent alone could used as classy or if your more of a man, an everyday scent. I would strongly recommend this to people that are looking for their first "stand out cologne". The only flaw this has is the horrible longevity and projection. I could spray it twice and a lot of people around me could smell me for the first 3 minutes. After it dries down it just becomes a skin scent( honestly around 30-1hr ish) This is not bleu de chanel, Ive smelled EDT EDP and Parfum versions and none of them smell like this. In my personal opinion, id go as far to say I prefer this over the edt and edp. Final overviews= Amazing scent, weak longevity, projection and sillage. Minimalistic bottle design, very good atomizer and a cheapie. The scent is 10/10, but due to it longevity and projection issues, overall this at the highest is a 8/10, still love it tho! I forgot to mention the scent profile quite a bit, my batch code is 08M39M187. At the opening the alcohol really hits you hard with a patchouli bomb ( it will always be there) and it proceeds to dry down into a more dark lavender-ish suede patchouli combo which just slams.

Honestly, just a super easy reach. Smells good, even if it's kind of generic, I give no shits. For the price point, it is very much worth it, and obviously, when it's discounted. Do not pay retail price for this. The atomiser is fantastic, as with all of the Jimmy Choo Man bottles, and it's one of my more complimented fragrances of the 50+ that I own. Sure, it doesn't last on the skin too long. I usually get about 4-5 hours when I spray 10 shots, but since it's so cheap, it doesn't really matter. Of course, by the 5th hour, it's not projecting more than an inch off the skin. I've done 20 sprays, and it lasted maybe an extra hour and a half, so if u wanna spray even more, it does not get to the point of offending people around you since it doesn't project very hard. At least that's my experience with it, as anyone with common sense would deduce, not all frags work the same on all people. I would give it a 7/10 because it's just easy to wear and a nice everyday driver that can be worn year-round, day or night. Are there better juices in the same category as this would fill? Yeah sure. You will pay a bit more though.

This was my first cologne. I bought it for myself on a recommendation from a friends girlfriend. I've purchased a handful more fragrances since then, and this is still a really reliable option. I do think it leans into the sweater side with the pineapple, but I don't think that's any disservice. If anything, I think it just means it's more applicable to a younger audience, and I'm saying that very lightly. I think you could get away with this up to your 40s. Either way, this is a super suave modern fragrance. Could last a bit longer, wish it wasn't an EDT, what can you do. Honestly, good price too compared to how insanely expensive chart topping frags are nowadays. Any department store or fragrance retailers will probably have this on sale a few times a year in addition to holidays. Go in and sample if you can. Long short, this will probably find its way back to my collection after I finish the first bottle. Really reliable choice for the modern man.

Weird that this is considered a sweet and fruity scent... I don’t get any sweetness. Maybe a bit of fruity freshness, but it’s a very musky masculine shower gel type scent. I can verify that women love it. It doesn’t project much after the first hour or two, but it stays on your skin for up to 6-8 hours depending how much you spray, and women like that because they have to get close to smell you and it’s a pleasant surprise when they do. It’s a nice dumb reach for work or play because it’s as fresh as Bleu De Chanel and as sexy as Dior Sauvage. Works in the office or on a date. It will last the duration of a night out, but if you’re worried about performance just bring along an atomizer. In short, this won’t win any awards for uniqueness but as far as a versatile, woman-pleasing, inoffensive casual go-to, I think this is an underrated gem that you can get for cheap on discount sites.

I've had this for a while and I understand why it might be disliked by many. It really is a good smelling fragrance, its masculine and sweet. It smells sexy and makes me feel confident. Unfortunately where all the hate radiates from is the poor performance. Its not horrible like people make it seem like, but its defiantly not outstanding. Id say with like 2 or 3 sprays, you'll have it lasting 3-5 hours at most. After that you really have to like sniff around to try and find where you sprayed it. It just kind of wears off. I got mine off a retailer on eBay for $33 and I'm glad I got it for that price. If you don't mind mediocre performance I say go ahead and pick this one up because it really does smell great. Although, if you are looking for a fragrance that lasts virtually the whole day, stay away from this one.

I only bought this, because of my doctor...it smelt great on him. Bought my own bottle $47.00, 6.7 oz bottle. Willing to trade it if you live in NYC. Only sprayed it 5 times. smh But anyway back to the point, it smells great in closed off spaces like a closet, doctors office, get the drift? But it doesn't last long, with all honest...about one to two & a half hours and past the 2 hour mark the sillage is something that you have to be next to a person to smell...E.g Like i can smell your breath. That close... Weak:only 1 to maybe 3 hours at best. Great for a up close and personal date. But save your money and skip this scent. Not worth it, AT ALL! Update: Traded it away. 07/02/2017

I don't get some of the hate on this one. I like this one a ton! Let's start out with the bottle.. This curved glassed container is nice in your hand. The bottle cap has a nice leather snake skin pattern that adds character. This scent is easy to wear anywhere but it's definitely more of a day time scent. This might be fruity but it has a nice masculine classy feel to it. I guess the downfall on this one if I had to give it one is the performance is average and it's a smell that isn't unique. Safe pleasant non-offensive fragrance with no legs. Opens up pleasant enough with peppery citrus...pretty sweet actually. Dries down to a powdery lavender/suede combo. Definitely reminds me Coach for Men. Pleasant super safe fragrance. Longevity and projection are below average. I almost disliked it for this reason as I have no tolerance for fragrances that don’t last...but the actual scent is pleasant enough I didn’t want to bash it too much. Versatility is pretty good. You could wear this year round by varying your sprays. Also good for most occasions. Get a sample and check it out. Personally, like my Coach, I’ll give this one to my son.

I was given this as a tester after purchasing a Hugo Boss in a Boots pharmacy. I had never tried anything from this brand and had little expectations from it. My surprise was finding out this came very very close a discontinued perfume that I loved which is Kouros Silver. It does not have the same longevity nor the same top notes and perhaps doesn't score as high in freshness but it's more or less 85% the same. Good for office use or gym, very standard summer-spring day scent. The price is decent for the value too however given the longevity and the small projection it is not exactly a 'banger'. Needs reapplication after 4 hours tops.

Super safe and fruity fragrance that sticks close to the skin. Don't know why moderate is the leading vote for the sillage as this definitely does NOT radiate within an arm's length unless you are referring to a lego man's arm. Opening is very reminiscent of Versace Dylan Blue and I could see a lot of people immediately buying this fragrance based off the opening. However due to the slightly below average longevity and very intimate sillage, I would pass on this and look for a more powerful fresh fragrance. Nonetheless, I still do like this fragrance but in order for people to notice it, you would have to go with roughly 7-9 sprays.

Reminds me of a leathery Bleu De Chanel EDP - if only it LASTED as long!!! This is literally one of the lightest colognes I've ever experienced, just barely stronger than Eau De Cartier. Smells AMAZING, but just doesn't last long enough to justify keeping in my collection. Surprisingly, this also sold on eBay quicker than anything I've ever listed. I listed it for $27 and it sold within 3 minutes of being listed. Go figure! My advice: Buy Bleu De Chanel or Bleu De Chanel EDP. I wish Bleu had a leather note like this, but their performance is FAR better than Jimmy Choo Man.

What can I say that about this fragrance? The atomizer is one of the best I’ve seen comparable to the door sauvage one. The scent is very much similar to a softer Abercrombie fierce or a softer coach scent. The price is not bad for the size. The bottle is very nice and fits great in the hand. The performance is terrible. Will not last more than one hour on the skin and two hours on the clothes. Was my favorite scent but you have to do better than that on the performance category to remain in my top ten list.

Say what you will about this one’s performance, but I have worn it for evenings out and received compliments from women. It’s not loud, someone would need to be sitting next to you or hug/be intimate to smell you, which makes it more personal and even more sexy in my opinion. Coach for men is a good alternative, smells very similar, however coach is a touch more aromatic. You don’t need both, but if you happen to have both like I do (one was a gift), you can layer them and get a nice boost in performance.
