Mango Thai Lime

I don't know how Jo does it! So many fragrances out there, claiming to smell like the notes they list, but Jo nails it every time! I was like a kid in a sweet shop (or should that be Gourmand) when my box of samples arrived first thing this morning! I got Rose and Dates (lovely), Flower shop (a perfect scent), and Mango Thai Lime - which the discovery quiz told me I would love, and after getting the sample I couldn't agree more! Placed an order for both Flower shop and Mango Thai Lime this evening! But there are so many incredible (and completely different from everything else out there) fragrances for Jo Loves. As a previous Jo Malone fan... these fragrances speak to me more than anything else out there at the moment. She's a real scent pioneer! The Mango Thai Lime is both warm and sharp at the same time! Sweet, sour and perfectly sharp (and long lasting) on the lime note. It's delicious and I want to be enveloped in it all Summer! Where Rose and Lemon Leaves is my go-to Spring Fragrance - Mango Thai Lime will be my new Summer one!

I made a special trip to the Jo Loves shop in London and experienced everything. Just like the Jo Malone colognes, these don't have longevity, but that's the quick splash nature of a cologne. Unfortunately I like my fragrances to last, especially if expensive. Typically of Jo Malone, her Jo Loves range are equally fresh, simplistic and realistic. My favourite by far was the 'Thai Lime Over Mango' which I covered myself in, bought a bottle, then got on a London bus in complete bliss. Sadly, my excitement at finding a brilliant new fragrance was short lived by the time I got home as the scent faded after a few hours. I'm done trying with Jo Malone now. Even the Intense Cologne range see's disappointing dupes for high end fragrances. Ex; 'Velvet Rose & Oud' is an attempt at 'Armani Prive Rose D'Arabe.' In short; 'Thai Lime Over Mango' is mouth watering mango with zesty fresh lime with nothing more complicated, it just doesn't last. I've a full 50ml bottle. Swaps anyone?

Incredible fruity summer skin scent if you’re into mango or lime. The pepper is barely there and the flowers are more in a supporting role than anything significant. The juice is a photorealistic combo of mango and lime and it’s on the fresher side. It’s somewhat sweet but compared side by side to other mango dominant fragrances I own, it’s rather tamed on sweetness. It’s a juicy mango with a bit of lemon zest, some thyme and sime faint florals. For high heat, Mango Thai Lime would be ideal. For other seasons or temperatures, it’s too soft and subtle. Intimate sillage and around 5 hours on clothing. If you can get it for a good deal, might worth. Otherwise, would say skip it! It’s pricey for how it performs.

This structure lasts for about two to three hours. As the lime gradually fades, the mango becomes creamier and sweeter, seemingly influenced by aromatic herbs such as thyme in the heart and later stages In the drydown, there is consistently a note reminiscent of Italian pasta, likely coming from the aromatic herbs commonly used in Italian cuisine. I find this facet quite appealing Well suited for spring and summer, and wearable for all genders

A beautiful mango scent! Been searching for a good one - this is it. The opening has such a nice blast of mango, reminds me of mango fruit juice. Dries down into a chewit /fruit salad sweetie which is not bad. Just wish that it lasted longer. About 2 to 3 hours of mango goodness, tropical, fruity, gourmand for spring/summer months or all year round even. This type of fragrance needs reapplying, but that may not be a bad thing as it has a refreshing feeling. I think this can be a unisex fragrance. update: I just bought a full bottle of this, on discount - love it!
