Mango Thai Lime

I don't know how Jo does it! So many fragrances out there, claiming to smell like the notes they list, but Jo nails it every time! I was like a kid in a sweet shop (or should that be Gourmand) when my box of samples arrived first thing this morning! I got Rose and Dates (lovely), Flower shop (a perfect scent), and Mango Thai Lime - which the discovery quiz told me I would love, and after getting the sample I couldn't agree more! Placed an order for both Flower shop and Mango Thai Lime this evening! But there are so many incredible (and completely different from everything else out there) fragrances for Jo Loves. As a previous Jo Malone fan... these fragrances speak to me more than anything else out there at the moment. She's a real scent pioneer! The Mango Thai Lime is both warm and sharp at the same time! Sweet, sour and perfectly sharp (and long lasting) on the lime note. It's delicious and I want to be enveloped in it all Summer! Where Rose and Lemon Leaves is my go-to Spring Fragrance - Mango Thai Lime will be my new Summer one!

I made a special trip to the Jo Loves shop in London and experienced everything. Just like the Jo Malone colognes, these don't have longevity, but that's the quick splash nature of a cologne. Unfortunately I like my fragrances to last, especially if expensive. Typically of Jo Malone, her Jo Loves range are equally fresh, simplistic and realistic. My favourite by far was the 'Thai Lime Over Mango' which I covered myself in, bought a bottle, then got on a London bus in complete bliss. Sadly, my excitement at finding a brilliant new fragrance was short lived by the time I got home as the scent faded after a few hours. I'm done trying with Jo Malone now. Even the Intense Cologne range see's disappointing dupes for high end fragrances. Ex; 'Velvet Rose & Oud' is an attempt at 'Armani Prive Rose D'Arabe.' In short; 'Thai Lime Over Mango' is mouth watering mango with zesty fresh lime with nothing more complicated, it just doesn't last. I've a full 50ml bottle. Swaps anyone?

Incredible fruity summer skin scent if you’re into mango or lime. The pepper is barely there and the flowers are more in a supporting role than anything significant. The juice is a photorealistic combo of mango and lime and it’s on the fresher side. It’s somewhat sweet but compared side by side to other mango dominant fragrances I own, it’s rather tamed on sweetness. It’s a juicy mango with a bit of lemon zest, some thyme and sime faint florals. For high heat, Mango Thai Lime would be ideal. For other seasons or temperatures, it’s too soft and subtle. Intimate sillage and around 5 hours on clothing. If you can get it for a good deal, might worth. Otherwise, would say skip it! It’s pricey for how it performs.

I find this facet quite appealing Well suited for spring and summer, and wearable for all genders

A beautiful mango scent! Been searching for a good one - this is it. The opening has such a nice blast of mango, reminds me of mango fruit juice. Dries down into a chewit /fruit salad sweetie which is not bad. Just wish that it lasted longer. About 2 to 3 hours of mango goodness, tropical, fruity, gourmand for spring/summer months or all year round even. This type of fragrance needs reapplying, but that may not be a bad thing as it has a refreshing feeling. I think this can be a unisex fragrance. update: I just bought a full bottle of this, on discount - love it!

What a hidden gem of a fragrance. I've been in the search of a good mango fragrances for the longest time. Most end up smelling like a spilled mango lassi or just goes too shampoeey, one exception is Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil. Which I emptied a 30ml on my own. But despite it being a really good fragrance overall, I just wanted something simpler and more vibrant mango.... And my search has finally ended

This is simply the best one of Jo Loves fragrances. The opening is a zesty bergamot. Along with the thyme down under,become a smell of mango skin. The middle mango note is a little sweet, mouth watering but not overwhelming. As a fragrance lover from subtropical Asia, I’ve been looking for a perfect mango scent. When I tried this in Bangkok, definitely love at the first sight.

I love this perfume! It's succulent and luscious. A wonderfully natural deep ripe mango with a perfect sweetness to tartness balance. A little sultry. a little tropical, Beautiful in it's own right, it can easily be worn by men and women. A truly great skin scent that reveals itself throughout the course of the day.

Fresh, fun and juicy! The lime and mango combo smell like a delicious sweet zesty drink and it fades down to more of a sweet mango. This is perfect for fruity lovers who don't like a floral dry down. I wish this was a bit longer lasting, but it is easy to reapply as it doesn't get too sweet and cloying.

I absolutely love this vivacious fruity zesty scent. Such a joy to wear! And it lasts for ages on my skin! I have thoroughly enjoyed smelling myself all day! The body lotion and shower gel are equally sublime. Such a winner!!!

Great fragrance, poor longevity after 1h i can barely smell it on my skin... It is quite zesty smell which usually don't last that long but I still 1-2h max, it has great opening and doesn't smell artificial/syntetic

I've had this for 1 year now. I tried it again yesterday and am impressed with the performance. It was radiating off my skin well and lasts a long time. 15 hours later and I can still smell it on my clothes.

Beautiful fresh lime leaf opening. Dewy waves of tropical leaves. Very light and airy green mango and lemony flowers. Dry down is lemon rind and watery. Wafts of fruity zest like green grapefruit.

SOOOOOOO limey in the best way possible. The mango is an afterthought, but that fresh juicy lime scent is irresistible. Smells like a tropical beach bar. So good I had to get the whole bottle

Wow, just wow!! Mango citrus goodness all the way... Heavenly!!

This is a really beautiful mango lime scent on a paper tester. It’s so juicy and smells very much the same for an extended period of time. It’s like the sunny summer feeling wrapped in a hug, with a gentle breeze in your hair while eating the most delicious mango lime ice cream ever. This does not translate on my skin. On my skin, this beautiful sparkling summer ice cream scent is gone within a few minutes and then it’s just a beautiful juicy lime. Gone too quickly. It’s not bad, don’t get me wrong, but it’s so underwhelming compared to the paper tester experience.

As is typical with citrus fragrances, the opening is incredible but the dry-down is a commonly used musk accord. I have several fragrances that dry down to the same musk notes with vegetal touches. It's fine! and while the opening is where the magic is at, it's the drydown that you'll be experiencing for the longest duration. I am a little picky, citrus is my favourite genre and Jo has some brilliant work I just WISH there was some vetiver to speak of. Something, anything other than musk.

It's a fun scent. Mango and lime at the forefront smells a little like a tropical cocktail. I'm rocking a sample in the Philippines where it's really hot and humid. I like the ideas coming out of Jo Loves. If you like fruity scents, definitely look into this line. edit: my girlfriend says this smells like oregano, haha. so not everyone will like it

This is a gorgeous scent. I was expecting a lot of citrus but it’s definitely way more a mango scent. It’s juicy, tropical and refreshing. Unfortunately it just doesn’t last and disappeared within a couple of hours even with spraying a lot.

WOW this is one of the most unique scents I have ever smelled. It’s a summer party in a bottle. I feel like I’ve turned into a fruity cocktail.

I bought the Jo Loves discovery collection specifically to try this, as on paper (or rather, on screen) it sounds amazing, especially as I love anything summery, fruity and citrussy. Unfortunately though, to me the mango is just overwhelming and I can barely smell anything else, although there is a fresh zing of lime on the initial spritz that lasts all of about 30 seconds. To me it smells just like a Solero, or a tropical fruit cocktail, and even on the dry down the mango is really prevalent although at least there are hints of something else a bit more mellow trying to peek through. I'd expect to find this scent in a shower gel or a shampoo rather than a sophisticated skin fragrance and the longevity isn't much better either. I expected so much more and was left disappointed unfortunately. Thankfully, there are better fragrances in the Jo Loves discovery set, and I've found a new favourite in Green Orange and Coriander, which I didn't expect and probably wouldn't have discovered if I hadn't wanted to try this one! It's possible this one may work as a layering scent with something more woody perhaps. I might experiment with the rest of the sample.

Does what it says on tin. The mango here is very natural-smelling and the lime is nice. Ultimately, though, I'm just not a fan of fruity scents and this just reminds me of my middle school body sprays. If you like mango or fruit scents, this is definitely worth a decant, at least. For me, I'll just save mine for a friend.

Too strong on mango that it almost makes it unwearable, unfortunately

This smells very cheap, like what you would get at The Body Shop or Bath & Body Works, it's really artificial, soapy like shampoo or drugstore body spray. Extremely overpriced, you basically pay for the brand not a good quality luxurious fragrance

I wanted to love this with the description but I seem to be the only one who just picks out a vomit smell? I had to scrub my hands as that was all I could get. The white rose and lemon helped me forget.

I unwillingly recognize it indeed has some kind of vomit smell. I guess it’s from mango and lime so there’re sweet and sour smells at the same time. And unfortunately it would be like vomit...

This reminds me of tropical fruit flavoured chewing gum from the 1990’s, cloyingly sweet and very loud. To its credit it does settle down after the top notes but not one for me.

A Shot Of Thai Lime Over Mango is a fragrance free, so simple, constructed as simple and autonomous way, but full of identity and self-assured at every step of your evolution as natural. Its opening is a fresh mango and peeled a refreshing morning with a mild sun, where this morning there is also a slightly sweet lemonade with lemon smell and pronounced at its best, with its impressive citrus scent at the outset. These two top notes, with each passing hour gain a touch of orientality a pepper in assigning a superficial burning without any aggression, as if it were a key ingredient to close that time and give the touch "final". Soon, he becomes a green floral with fresh smell of natural herbs, there is when it appears to Hortelãzinha still enfincada in wet ground a cottage garden that has other herbs that way also planted Lord ... hold me, for it here it is a paradise for living aromas! Have just taken delivery of this; it was a total blind buy. I usually wear Mandrine which I love but fancied a change as Mandrine sometimes wears a bit astringent on me. So...my thoughts. It reminds me A LOT of Nectarine & Honey Blossom from Jo Malone; they could be sisters. And also reminds me of Petite Cherie by Annick Goutal. I like it but I don't love it. The initial head notes are way better than the drydown which is really meh and it has also quickly faded to a skin scent. If it stayed as nice as the head notes it would be really good; that is where the citrus and black pepper really shines...for about five minutes. I think I will keep my bottle for sunny days and holidays but I won't repurchase; I actually think it smells a bit cheap and a bit shampoo like. Mandrine is far superior; I wish I'd just replaced my bottle now! Note to self - STOP blind buying! ***Edit - this really smells like something The Body Shop would have released in the 90's when I was a teenager. Not something I'd like to smell like as a 42 year old mother of three. Have decided to sell this bottle!***

Imagine for a minute, standing in a kichen at a beach house facing the ocean waves, preparing lunch. Windows are open so the salt air blows cool crisp air throughout the house...White linen curtains blowing all around and you are in the kitchen cutting up fresh mango slices cutting up slices of lime and squeezing fresh lime juice over the mangos to serve to your guest outside by the seawater....THAT is what ASOTLOM smells like...AMAZING LIME/MANGO and SOOOO REAL smelling...no synthetic anything in this mixture. Just pure citrus bliss..One of my favorites from this line. Unfortunately, you can only buy this online but WELL worth it. Longevity and Sillage are above average, especially for a citrus scent. I get about 6-8 hours and projection is about an arms length for the first few hours then reduces to half of that thereafter and gets close to the skin around hour 8....But man, the voyage is soooo worth the journey with this little gem. I love it and will wear it lots this Summer especially around the beach areas...Great stuff !

On first spray I loved this - opens with such a sparkly, unique scent and I’m always in the hunt for a good mix of spicy, fruity, & green notes. Unfortunately on dry down it veered sharply into Garnier Fuctis shampoo from the early 2000s territory and I see where the comments about high school body spray stem from. I grabbed a sampler of the Jo Loves offerings so I could try some of the others - so far Pomelo and Green Orange & Corriander are striking me as more sophisticated, enjoyable options than this. Still have high hopes for this range as all of the note combinations are very much in my wheelhouse - time will tell!

A Shot of Thai Lime over Mango is my favorite out of the Mango collection. It starts of with a blast of sweet and round mango but soon the bitter notes of lime take over and balance the whole thing. There is really a duality between feminine and masculine notes in the beginning. The pepper, thyme and mint add a herbal/aromatic quality, reminding me of a fizzy cocktail. Over time a subtle earthiness appears which probably comes from the vetiver. ASOTLOM is easy to wear an easy to love. A fresh, slightly tropical, crisp everyday unisex fragrance. Yet, the mango brings something different from your usual citrus cologne.

Just got mine and have sprayed on my hand. Now waiting for the changes to happen. If I'm honest at the moment opens very similar to the zesty vibe of Eau de Citrus by Molinard which I personally am not overawed with so,so far not amazing. I will update later. EDIT I have had this on 3/4 of an hour or so and can now start to notice the quality in this. I'm getting the mild mango freshness which is divine and touch of mint and s tiny floral note but nothing loud. This is the summer freshness you want for sure. Cant wait for the drydown! Loving it now!

I am so glad this is back after being discontinued. I know mango is used as a note in many fragrances, but too often it is synthetic, candied, cloying and more for a teenage audience. This mango is sophisticated, it is such a realistic ripe juicy mango, I love it so much, it is very addictive! I do not understand the below comments regarding the vomit note at all. It is beautiful and definitely unisex. It’s a very sexy fragrance

This is nice lime mango, to me it’s like mango lime refreshing artificial flavored juice in the first blast, after a while as it dries it’s simply Jo Loves’s their own take of creed virgin island water, yes VIW with some different touches, I assume if you love VIW mostly you will love this one, limey fruity fresh sweet scent. I think it’s more suited for a moderate weather heat.

Smells a lot like sherbet lemons, funnily I said the same thing about Prada Les Infusions Ginger. I own both so interchangeable I guess to wear when the sun's out. Makes a change from sharp citrus. There is definitely the lime in there. All in all, I'm pretty content to own this, the liquid is gorgeous and makes me feel happy smelling all my favourite things.

I have the perfume and body wash they smell so juicy and fresh I really enjoy them. Today is a stuffy rainy day and the perfume really uplifts my mood. I think the mango and lime makes for a zesty first impression but as time goes by the subtle floral makes this scent more endearing

One of my all time favourite summer fragrances. It’s fresh and tropical with hints of herbs in the background. It smells almost good enough to eat - very realistic and non-synthetic. This was shelved for a short time, but is soon to be available again on the Jo Loves website.

Remarkable spicy lime scent, I have never truly found a perfume that mimics the spiciness of a lime. Really realistic and nothing synthetic about it. Crowd pleaser, easy to wear, safe blind buy if you like realistic citrus scents. Moderate performance, good price !

Tried from tester in Space NK, expecting to love it.. very sour opening, sharp, acrid.. but my son loved it, although he thought it smelt like 'juicy lemons'. Then we went out to dinner. By the time I thought to sniff my wrist again, it was gone..

I was looking for a mango perfume for summer, the smell of this is stunning, it smells like mango skin and lime. I really dont want to be negative, but the performance on this is a joke, i can't smell it all 30 minutes after generouslt spraying.

I love this! The combination of lime and mango is like sweet nectar on my skin, and in the dry down, the mint becomes more evident. This is one I will buy a bottle of to savour.
