No. 42 The Flower Shop

I absolutely love this fragrance. It truly does smell like you just stepped into a flower shop. It has a nice mix of florals but also has the green notes that are present in a flower shop from the cut stems. This is truly one of the prettiest floral fragrances I have ever tried. I will be buying a full bottle once spring rolls around. And for those outside England, do the Jo Loves Fragrance Experience kit. You prepay for a bottle and they send you a sample of all of their fragrances with a voucher you redeem for a bottle of your favorite. If you like Jo Malone, you will like the fragrances in the Jo Loves collection. I opted for the Jo Loves Red Truffle 21 when I did the fragrance experience set in October. It was actually my second favorite behind No 42 Flower Shop but Red Truffle 21 is a fall/winter scent whereas No 42 Flower Shop is definitely Spring/Summer. I opted for the fall/winter scent since that was the season we were in with the intention of buying No 42 Flower Shop when spring rolled around. Plus, their shipping is LIGHTENING FAST. I live in the US and has my fragrance three days after ordering. I got an international shipment faster than I even normally get shipments in the US.

This is the best Lily-of-the-Valley fragrance ever. I am not exaggerating, I do mean it. The "Muguet" is a note that extremely hard to control.Among varied floral notes, the muguet plays an irreplaceable role.Unfortunately, plenty of muguet-themed fragrance has overused it.From my point of view, adding too much muguet would make the fragrance overly sharp and sometimes synthetic.But a small amount of muguet could enhance other main notes of the fragrance and add some green touch to it. No.42 The Flower Shop blended the muguet and other floral notes wonderfully.What impressed me most is that it truly has the smell of green leaves, unbelievably natural and pleasing. So green,so fresh, so adorable, so cheerful. Come una primavera soleggiata.

I went to the store thinking I was gonna leave with one of their citrus bottles as a freshie lover, but ended up buying this instead. The name had me thinking of headache-inducing florals thus I was completely ignoring it. But due to the prodding of the SA to try it, I did, and was greeted by one of the best fresh-floral scents my nose has come across with. It reminds me of a light floral luxury soap -- fresh and clean, with a touch of green. Definitely pleasant, pretty and easy to wear. Sillage and projection are good, I have gotten a lot of compliments wearing this. Longevity is also good as I have to reapply only once during work hours. Really good value for money!

Wow I came across a new Jo Loves shop in Myer Sydney City. The SA recommended me to try this. It's so uniquely green and floral. Like a freshly cut peony, you can smell the crushed leaves, the liquid bleeding out from the stem. And there are quite a few flowers in the shop to round up the scent. Some say it has the tomato leaf note. I'm a green lover and I love this one. Price point is better than Jo Malone. I'll probably get one when there is discount.

On my skin this is just green leaves, lily of the valley and in distinct white flowers, retro in a good way and what I imagine a flower shop should smell like. Really good and nicely blended. Doesn’t stay long on the skin though, turned into a skin scent after 2-3 hours on me.

This is lovely- the lily of the valley is really dominant and it smells light and invigorating. It's a green green floral, light and pretty, and I love it.

Obsessed with this. The flowery-ness is subtle, gentle, and very pleasant. My only wish is that it would last longer.

讲42号花店就必须讲一讲我的第一支人生最爱——祖玛珑 白茉莉与薄荷。 15年第一次试香时,我选择的分装中不伐有宝格丽的大吉岭、绿茶、夜茉莉等热门作品,但让人最念念不忘的是祖玛珑的白茉莉薄荷,清爽的茉莉搭配着沁凉的薄荷,惊艳至极。(在我心里就相当于初恋是刘亦菲版的小龙女一样,一直珍藏着当时的分装瓶) 在白茉莉与薄荷停产多年后,再遇到这支42号花店时我就知道,它重生回到我身边了(sorry,最近重生文看多了) Jo Malone女士以自己曾经工作过的花店为灵感,创造出了这支饱含生机的作品。上皮后,一阵极为清爽的绿意瞬间迸发出来,夹杂着苔藓那种草本植物的气息,让人不禁联想到修剪花茎时,枝茎汁液流下来的场景。新鲜且水润的绿意裹挟着铃兰与茉莉清雅的花香,尤为怡人,最后少许的麝香也让整支香更为贴肤~ 说实话这支整体味道有些线性,但花香的部分表现得非常自然,素雅、和谐得组合在一起,反而更符合花店的主题,就好像走入刚开门的花店中,穿着白色围裙的店主姐姐还在忙着给新到的花修剪枝叶。 评分:9/10 性价比8/10 虽然最开始对于它是莞莞类卿,但现在真的超爱,所以如果让我选春天的第一支香,一定是42号花店(喜欢绿意花香的姐妹一定要试一下,吃我安利,吃我安利)。 Jo Malone女士果然实力在线,Jo Loves虽然知名度差了些,但真的不乏有好作品的,喜欢清新类的姐妹可以关注下哦。最后,祝大家有香人终成眷属,早日找到梦中情香哦~

I have waited so long to smell this and sadly it was not what I wanted it to be. It's very heavily jasmine which I'm not a fan of, I didn't get the green stemmy notes which is what I most looked forward to, but that's probably because I'm sensitive to jasmine! If you love white florals I think it's a beautiful fragrance with good projection and longevity! Still on the hunt for a perfect flower shop scent...!

Bought a sample, absolutely loved it so this is now on my wish list. Very fresh and green with a white floral aura. Really very like walking into a flower shop in spring. Just perfect.
