Carrot Blossom & Fennel

I love this perfume! It's so soft, fresh, inspiring, has hints of sweetness, vegetative, unusual and medicinal. It's obviously a very green and herbal perfume, but the carrot surprisingly adds an unusual sweet and honey-like or even floral (ylang-ylang leaning) flavor, and the patchouli in the base adds woodiness and spice notes. Overall, this perfume is very well-balanced. Unlike other Jo's, it's not as simple or direct. It opens up during the day from different angles: sometimes you feel it as purely dewy and green like the morning wet grass, sometimes you notice its spicy accords like the ones in carrot seeds or ambrette seeds, and sometimes it's sweet and floral.

Just gave this to my mom as a late birthday gift - it's wonderful! I'm not getting laundry fresh, but it's definitely clean. Only slightly sweet, the fennel doesn't steal the show here. Very soft, but has interesting an dimensional feel - wish I had grabbed one for myself so I could leave a more detailed review. By far my favorite out of the bunch!

This quickly becomes my signature! Carrot and apricot are so rich and sharp, long last on my skin about 5-6 hrs. See rose in pyramid but I can't find in it. My secret formula : 2 sprays of Carrot Blossom and Dior Higher = Heavenly!

Herbal, green, unique. Again, very unique and green-herbal piece of creation. Fennel is absolutely the winner in this scent, giving very intriguing, green and refreshing beginning of this herbal story, yet again, it stays present whole time. Fennel combines wonderfully with carrot blossom and rose. I find this fragrance to be more of a feminine one in this line. It has that secretive earthy and perplexing note of herbal concoctions. It also has that gentle earthy sweetness, but not in a way that sweet citruses or fruits usually have (I personally dislike sweet, citruses, heavy nor oriental type of fragrances). This one is not heavy, it is at the same time intriguing and refreshing, puzzling and bright. As I said before, Fennel really uplifts and gives uniquel and so different, green signature to this combination. Again, I would not re-purchase it, I blindly bought it on sale, as I found this collection to be very interesting, but I`m glad I did and enjoyed wearing it. It has it`s own story, something I find all Diptyque and Jo Malone fragrances have and that is quality I really appreciate in a fragrance.

Soapy, but in a good way. This smells like luxury soap that you would get in a high end hotel. I do get some of the greenness of carrot blossoms, or Queen Anne's Lace. I get fennel in the background, coming to the forefront every once in a while, and some softness from the musk. I didn't love it at first, but I have gotten many compliments, so it may move up to a love by proxy.
