Moonlit Camomile

If Moonlit Chamomile has 100 fans, I am one of them. If Moonlit Chamomile has 1 fan, it is me. If Moonlit Chamomile has no fans, I have passed away. I have purchased this as both a linen spray and cologne, and while I agree it is more of a skin scent with low sillage, this is one of the most beautifully soft and comforting scents I have ever smelled, and I truly have not found anything similar to this scent in those regards. The degree that it relaxes me is unmatched! For those upset about the price point of the cologne, I would definitely recommend the linen spray! I spray it on my pillow every night to relax and go to sleep, and it also makes my clothes smell elegant and luxurious. I will definitely repurchase this scent, and it will always be a staple in my perfume collection.

ok, basically this 120 eur frag is the 20 eur artisan (2009) by varvatos. and the varvatos has better performance. niche my ass.

If this lasted more than 30 minutes it would probably be my favourite fragrance!

this fragrance is overpriced. overall, if this fragrance was about 70 dollars or maybe had a bigger bottle, this fragrance wouldn't be that bad but the radiance of this perfume is simply not enough. it is not strong, not long lasting and goes of with a simple handwash. i would recommend putting this fragrance more on clothes instead of putting it on your hand. not only does it last longer, it wouldnt be washed off easily and even after hours, a note of lavender that is not in the perfume would start appearing below the musk that the perfume has. the lavender is smooth smelling and not very sharp. it can be smelled from a short distance and if youre looking for a nights fun, this fragrance is for you, dispersing this entire fragrance all over the room with the non existent lavender smell.

I've had a few days with this Cologne. My initial thought was "This smells like a nice candle". Which isn't a good or bad thing. I immediately smelled the chamomile and musk and that smell stays throughout the life of the scent. After 3 hours it's a skin scent and after 5 hours you would need to top up. Its definitely a clean scent. I'm not sure it's worth the price but it's nice, not wow.

It’s a laundry smell...just as light too. But I love clean laundry smells, so I like it. I would wear it for bedtime, it’s probably good for that, nothing else because it is so faint. Or if I worked in an office where people don’t want you wearing perfume. I would denyyyy and be lying through my teeth (but believable because you have to mash your nose into your wrist to barely smell it)

I really nice light soapy scent. The moon flower chamomile mix is really nice and clean. If you like chamomile and musky soaps (I do) you will like this scent. However, as everyone has mentioned it's light, so after 45 minutes it sits close to the skin. Excellent advertisement, it attracts, but it's still a bit fake, a mystical night somewhere far away in the universe, poof..... we fell from the clouds, sobering up, that's not that perfume. A gentle, pleasant scent, like the smell of chamomile, soothing and all so innocent. All that is great, but it seems that it is not what the perfume advertisement itself presents to us.

Ooh! Smells like my favorite hand sanitizer Starlit Sky (I'm extremely picky with them) that I occasionally stock up on at Walmart. It's a sandalwood/lavender/chamomile dream and I'm glad to find a perfume that goes with it!

It smells soapy and clean, and the chamomile accord feels very relaxing. I expected poor performance, but I was actually quite surprised. It definitely lasts a while, and the projection is pretty noticeable.

Slight-citrusy type of herbal, cooling, and relaxing. Performance is mininal but detechable. If the price range was lower ($$), I'll gladly buy another bottle.

Never thought I'd ever fall for a camomile scent. But this one literally blew me away. It's soft, dreamy, a little herbal, and musky. The Jo Malone salesman told me that this one was designed specifically for bedtime purposes, and I agree. It's very relaxing. The price is something I'll always complain about Jo Malone, but the scent is very well blended. Despite the dark bottle, it's not dark or heavy at all. It's coloured that way simply to signify the use at night regardless of seasons. A little confusing and off-putting, but for this case, don't let the bottle colour lead you astray - it's very light and perfect for bedtime. Edit: I changed my rating from 'love' to 'ok' today as the fragrance lasts about a few minutes on my skin and that's it. If this was sold at $20-$60 a bottle I wouldn't mind, but at $170, this has to be a bad joke. The concept is awesome - a fragrance for bedtime, and the lightness of it is in line with the concept; however, it doesn't mean that longevity has to be this poor. Someone below stated that this ought to have been a pillow mist instead of an eau de cologne and I agree. If you want something that smells similar but considerably cheaper and stronger, get john Varvatos Artisan Blu. Despite the difference in note compositions, the scent is very similar.

This smell AMAZING ! For the first 30 minutes is basically a mix of Moon Flower and some Citrus Floral undertone, like lime blossom, Camomile Flower, Tea and some musk, after that it fades into Camomile Infusion with Musk, and after 1.5 hours it became just a memory! It was my first Jo Malone fragrance, they are extremely expensive in Canada, and I always think twice before get one. This one I get In very good deal. The sad part is that besides this juice smell amazing, it is REALLY disappointing. I do not recommend get anything from this house after my friends confirmed that they all kind fade after 3h maximum. Specially this one. Sillage:4/10 (Intimate) Longevity: 2/10 (4/10 if you heavy spray) Uniqueness: 9/10 (Had something similar, but nothing exactly like this one) Budget: 2/10 (It is extremely expensive for what it offers, you can get something with the same vibe from Body Shop for example) The scent itself: 9/10 it is addicting and really gives a sensation of peace. Overall: If you are from the British Royal Family or some Russian Billionaire living in London get this right away specially to use before sleep ! It is classy and soft! Otherwise invest your money in something better !

This was the first full sized Jo Malone fragrance I bought. It is a beautiful, soft, comforting chamomile scent with a slight fresh laundry air about it. Dreamy and therapeutic. I bought it on impulse, however, which was a terrible mistake. I would bathe in this fragrance if I could. The problem is, you'll need to. The performance is frankly insulting: as a skin scent, it will last for several hours if you dig your nose in, but nobody else can detect me wearing this, even with oversprays, within half an hour of application just about everywhere. I rate it at the strength of about a pillow mist, which is now often when I use it (to bed) - but for its intended purpose as a fragrance, it is obscenely overpriced. As soon as I can buy a convincing dupe of this fragrance in EDP strength, I will not look back. I ended up buying Gucci Memoire for a chamomile note that lingered with some throw, and I think that this would need to be an Intense for better performance. In short, I absolutely adore the smell, but it is disappointment in a bottle.

incredibly chemical opening with an edge of bitterness that hits you over the head with chamomile—but as it dries down, the musk note seems to open up and give it a much rounder, lovelier, and frankly more bearable smell. the whole scent is incredibly soapy; it's clean and chaste, and i have to agree with the "dryer sheet" description a previous reviewer gave it.

This smell positively lovely immediately after spraying. Beautiful chamomile and something floral. Unfortunately, it lasts probably around 20 minutes, after that all you have left is a basic clean musk for another hour or so. I do not mind weak fragrances that don't last, and I don't mind reapplying, but c'mon... 20 minutes?

Use it as my gym fragrance not to bother others yet still feel fresh. Sillage very intimate - i use around 8 sprays on me and after an hour of yoga workout the smell is gone even as a skin scent. 🤷♀️ would not repurchase.

Nothing or close to nothing at all is what I get after spraying this thing all over my body both on skin and on clothing. Just a minute soft floral scent I really need to sniff hard to be able to smell. What a waste.

I find this just ok. To me it smells too synthetic. Not too bad, it's like clean laundry. Fresh, comforting, and blue. Very elusive though. I used my sample on myself and on my pillow at night, but it was soon gone.

This was an impulse purchase. I was drawn by the bottle design. First impressions were... okay but as it settles down, the performance peaks. Moonlit Chamomile opens with a lavender scent which is not listen in the composition. However, as it settles down, the chamomile becomes more prominent which eventually dries down into something that is perfectly sweet and musky. This is not very offensive which makes a great office wear fragrance. The downside however is the projection. Longevity is satisfactory, I tested this on my arm and hours later, I could still smell it and still lingers on my watch. It might be a little too over priced for what it delivers and might not be for everyone. Overall, I do like it and I will buy it again but it won't be at the top of my list. Perfect for day or night and as an all season perfume. EDIT: This does not smell like Atelier Clementine California which I also have.

This stuff is phenomenal. I have gotten several compliments. It smells almost like high end dryer sheet, in the best way possible. It has an aura of cleanliness about it, calm/pleasant, and fresh. I love it. The immediate opening is soapy. It only lasts maybe 5 minutes or so. After that you are in a drydown heaven. For those saying longevity is an issue - one thing I observed. You have to clear your nose palette, so to speak. If you are used to smelling very strong stuff, you might be a little blind, at least I was. I spray on back of neck, behind ears, and inside each elbow (5 total), and I am getting wafts of it several hours later. You can spray more as needed. I would buy this again.

To me, this smells like lavender and chamomile. I don't mean to offend anyone, but if you like Bath and Bodywork's Lavender Chamomile Aromatherapy line, you will like this. I think it is unisex and it is very calming. At first spray, it comes off pretty strong, then it dries down very softly. Unfortunately, I can't get it to last more than 2-3 hours on the skin.

Very special thing. For nights only. For dates only. Use it just before date, better to have a 10 ml decant in your pocket. Clearness fragrance. Just for person, who leans very very close to you, in a hot of summer's night. No need a full bottle (it's very expensive), only a decant for a very special moment. It works

Anyone knows if the moonflowers are strong here? I am in love with them and many more wild, spontaneous flowers but if they are not here and lavender takes their place then it would be pointless. It would be so dreamy to have moonflowers and chamomile togheter.

As it is formulated to be a night time fragrance, it doesn’t last on skin. Unfortunately, it smells wonderful enough to make me want a whole bottle. I bought one, and I don’t regret it, but it seriously does NOT last, unlike other Jo Malone scents.

Smells like a beautiful, luxurious hotel lobby. Calming and beautiful. I would love for my home to smell like this everyday.

This perfume really intrigues me. I love the scent of chamomile. However i am not sure where i can sample this.
