Nashi Blossom

Boring and normal at the first sniff, nothing so special, but you will miss it for a while... I got this because it’s limited edition and I’m a Jo Malone lover. I used to collect Jo Malone. Youtubers recommended the 2016 version so many times, then luckily re-launched this year. I blind bought it, and leave it for a while. Until one day I smelled this on a lady standing next to me on the bus. I felt like it’s so fresh, clean and cute. Yes, “cute”, the lady was wearing sporty outfits and definately not young, like aged 40 or up. I still thought that’s a cute scent and I remembered that’s my Nashi blossom cologne. Fresh, clean and powdery makes it has some depth to it. As a clean scent, rarely I got powdery feeling, also Nashi blossom blended it well, very much in balance with all the notes, I think that’s why I felt normal at the first sniff, no “ wow” for me. But very much like a go-to scent, perfect pick for summer, not childish or native coz that powdery hint into it. I could say it’s a cozy scent and unique as a limited edition, I got one more a big bottle backup while on sale online, very good deal.

I reluctantly tested this today, knowing some of Jo Malone's most alluring scents evaporate as quickly as I fall in love with them :( It's delicious and fresh, but of course, is gone within an hour. I'm now left behind with a wisp of pretty, musky flowers~ I didn't get a ton of citrus, lemon seems to not be very prominent on my skin - I mostly felt the bright pear blossom and softness of the rose. No dusty roses here, felt like the dewy pink kind of rose you can smell first thing in the morning when the mist is still covering everything. It took everything in me to NOT buy this! I think it's beautiful, sheer and just graceful.. sigh.. I will say there's something SO familiar about the opening, which was not there after the first half hour. Don't think I was getting Clinique's "Happy" but someeeethiiing definitely felt familiar. Which I don't mind, but it's sparked my curiosity. So sad to watch this beauty fade

There is just something about this perfume. I can see many have described it as uninteresting, but to me it's just the most delicious smell. Gorgeous white flowers, pear and something almost salty - like the smell of a packet of salt, in the most positive way I can think of. I can't say I smell the roses. Maybe it's the musk that has this delicious, salty smell? What ever it is, it makes me crave this perfume. It's so lovely. I'm so sad that this perfume was limited edition, as I only got the smallest bottle, and I want to own this for ever and ever.

To me this is mostly musk and pear flower. It's a beautiful inoffensive fragrance that is quite one directional really but nevertheless simple, easy to wear, very feminine and youthful, quite fresh and slightly citrusy. The lemon is only there for a hint, nothing more. It does not give you the typical lemon blast, like the one in stronger and more intense fragrances (many people associate that kind of blast with cleaning products though!). Overall, a good fragrance!

My mom had that when I was around two years old. I love the smell of pear blossom! I think this would be a perfect signature scent for little girls ages 3 to 7.

My husband brought it today as a gift. I loved it. Sublte and pleasant. Confortable to wear.

I love Jo Malone in general and have many bottles. I blind bought this one (I know, I know...) and was a bit skeptical due to low rating. However, I am more than happy with the purchase. The scent is very delicate, White floral, pear Blossom. It reminds me of Floris Fleur somehow. I Think this would be a perfect signature scent for a woman in her 20ies, or would suit anyone who would like to wear a perfume but not to be overly noticed, since the scent is quite subtle. Longevity is poor, as with other JM, but hey, I don't mind to re-apply. Get it if you find a bargain. Pretty safe buy if you like light White florals.

I bought a bottle of Nashi blossom today, it's a pleasant, clean smelling summer/spring scent. It starts off with pear and green apple notes then dries down to a soft musk. Very light and fresh, not over powering with citrus which is a good thing. I do find some similarities with similar "clean" type scents such as Happy by Clinique and maybe even Calyx. I think Nashi Blossom will be good mixed with other Jo Malone colognes such as Wood sage and sea salt, Peony and blush suede and even white jasmine and mint.

I'm very excited to try this new Jo Malone cologne. I've been a bit obsessed with Jo Malone fragrances lately and this sounds nice and very wearable for spring and summer also would be good for mixing with other Jo Malone colognes...can't wait to try. I think it's limited edition? Update: I bought the 100ml bottle as it is limited edition. It is a lovely fresh scent - it is in line with Happy or Calyx by Clinique except that the dry down is a bit musky.

Smells like a cold spring morning in the city to me, but in the city where there are gardens of fruit trees along with the skyscrapers. My husband bought it for me in Tokyo.

I was really hoping for complexity on this one. Nashi Blossom is very simple and clean- kind of a generic soapy scent. Like other reviewers, I will say this fragrance smells delicate, light, sporty, and youthful. I detect soft florals, a hint of fruit, and a slight salty musk.

It is an uplifting floral scent with notes of lemon, nashi blossom, and white musk. It is the perfect springtime scent.

It smells exactly like Sunflower perfume of Elizabeth Arden 😂😂😂😂 a bit disappointed

What is happening to this company? I LOVE Jo Malone. The old scents are fantastic, and even the latest releases have been different and exciting. I was incredibly excited to try this one, and it's such a let-down. Basically, it's a watered-down Clinique Happy. I have nothing more to say..

Yawn. This is so typical and would appeal to your regular Jo Malone fans. The only Jo Malones I like tend to be ones that are less popular...(eg: Amber & Lavender, Nutmeg & Ginger, Amber & Patchouli) Which is fine by me.

I'm not sure what blossoms were used, but it smelled like an odd lemon with some floral. Didn't make me smell good.

I've finally tested this out, and I'm disappointed. I get too much citrus, and even though the notes say "lemon", it doesn't really come across as lemon to me. Even upon drydown, I can't catch enough of the pear blossom, which is what I really, really wanted. Normally, my skin doesn't cling to any citrus, but for this one, it did. I feel bad. I had put one on order. I'll test it once more since the weather has turned really warm. Maybe this will change the perfume's character. It just occurred to me, and I'll have to try them side by side, but Kiehl's came out with a Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit a while back. I was not impressed by their line of scents either, but I want to see if these are similar.

Agree with Sweetsher. This could have been an easy uplifting wear, beautiful and effortless, but some weird sour undertone ruins it. I don't think it is the citrus thou, it smells more like pear that has gone bad. Granted, it still can smell pretty if you just catch a very brief whift of it from some one, but linger a few seconds longer and you'll be like wait a sec, something's off.

I was not impressed at all. Fresh perfume, nothing special, there are many similar fragrances on the market. Definitely it is not worthy to spend money on it. Scent is very cheap, reminds me perfumes from Marshal's stores. Save your money, and invest in exclusive fragrances.
