Orange Peel Cologne

This is great! And so unexpected. I was trying a few Jo Malone's in the shop, not expecting much. But this is soo good. A burst of orange at the opening and then it gently mellows into a woody orange but retains the slight bitterness, which I find very nice. I have several good citrus-lemon fragrances but it is not easy to find a good orange which is not sugary sweet. This fragrance has almost no projection but lasting power is not so bad for a Jo Malone. It is a something which I wear just for myself as a mood booster after a long day. For this it is perfect!

Nice zesty orange pop scent, but that’s about it. Nothing new. Likable but not really worth the price. And considering this is an orange scent in a marmalade collection, I would have thought it would be more of a gourmand scent than this.

While this is nice, it is not an edible orange--which is what one should justifiably expect from a fragrance billed as part of the "marmalade" collection. Truthfully, I don't even consider it a decent representation of orange, period.

As a part of the Marmalade collection, I hoped this would be a little more jammy, maybe even slightly sweet. But it's just another very refreshing summer cologne, which is not bad either, but not really my style. The orange peel note is quite bitter and has a fizzy, sparkling feel to it, so it's perfect for scorching hot summer days. The rhubarb (not listed here, but on the official JM site) is a nice, subtle addition. Its sour, but completely un-bitter fruitiness makes the orange more balanced and keeps it from being screechy. The overall impression reminds me of Atelier Cologne's citrus fragrances. It's not a great performer and nothing very innovative, but a nice refresher and completely unisex.

Smells like orange rind and politely backs away. Bright, clean, and straightforward, with cashmere wood smoothing it out just enough to keep it from smelling like kitchen cleaner. It’s linear, safe, and minimal to a fault—like someone who shows up on time and leaves early. Sadly, the synthetic vibe lingers more than the citrus. Good for summer if you want to smell freshly wiped down. MOVIE MATCH: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before — sweet, simple, predictable, and honestly fine.

As someone who grew up making English Marmalade, I don’t like this as much as I hoped for the price! It does smell like oranges, but not anything special, and the dry down reminds me of some other generic citrus colognes I can't put my finger on, but I don't love something in the base on my skin, I think this leans masculine (by commercial standards). If you were expecting the smell of making orange marmalade, you may be disappointed, will be returning mine.

Starts off as a bright orange with slight notes of mint, labdanum, and licorice. Comes across as a bit herbal. Then becomes a sharp neroli with bitter orange in the center. Towards the end, it becomes a lemon house cleaner. I would recommend this for younger people who want to smell put-together but still playful. I find it too herbal on my skin. A simple fragrance.

OrAnge peel with cedar in the background, I think this is the most masculine from the Marmalade collection. Maybe something similar to D’orange vert by Hermes. A bit sharp for me.

I love Jo Malone's Orange Bitters, and I suspected that this might be a summer version of one of my favourite winter fragrances. It's a simpler composition with fewer notes, but it has the same warmth; think oranges and tanned, sun warmed skin. To me this is very natural smelling. I've never been near an orange tree, but this is how I imagine oranges would smell on a hot summer day. The warmth of Orange Peel combines perfectly with the freshness of the Jo Malone classic Lime Basil & Mandarin. The extra boost of orange really amps up the citrus notes and the cashmere wood adds a touch of warmth to the freshness of the herbs.

Opening I found to be reminiscent of orange peel as the name suggests, but within a few minutes you are hit with a woodsy note. The woodsy note is light and is entangled with a slight bitterness from the bitter orange. Pretty linear after this point with woodsy notes only. I really enjoyed this as its straight to the point and not trying too hard.

Tried this today and to me it is a masculine scent. I was hoping for something smilies to Johnny Was Talia, but this is wood and Orange peel on my skin. I would recommend for men unless you like masculine scents.

Armani Code Parfum smells so much like this. If you have trouble finding this, get Armani Code Parfum. The Armani is slightly deeper and darker, but they are very similar

I am confused. Where is the orange? All I smell is lavender, spices and wood. This is a very earthy and masculine scent, similar to the fougeres of the 80s.

This smells so good! Its like pure orangey perfume that splish splash all over you. Very uplifting and refreshing scent.
