Poppy & Barley

The time has come. To wax lyrical about one of the MOST UNDERRATED JO MALONE PERFUMES EVER. I love this! Reading some reviews here, I expected an extremely light, extremely weak, extremely one-dimensional, pure-powder, *basic* perfume. This is not the case, Perfumites. Sweet mittens-on-kittens, I am happy to report this is gorgeous! Those fig, blackcurrant, and violet top notes? Blissful. They're so perfectly juicy, tart, jammy, and glamourous.Those top notes are bomb and intoxicating. The blackcurrant-and-violet tart jamminess reminds me slightly of the opening of "Bal d'Afrique". The wheat, powdery notes, and poppy are gentle and warm. The zest and tang of the fruit cut through any potential for dull, gummy-eyed, cough-inducing, powder-related nonsense. The wheat is comforting. It helps me picture a calm, good-natured farmer on his tractor surveying his softly-swaying wheat stalks on their English country-side farm with soft sunbeams. The base notes of barley, musk, and bran just continue that clean, cozy warmth found whenever snuggled in the comfort of your own home. You never feel out of your depth in this perfume because it feels sheltering. This is a hug in a bottle. That 'warm hug' is reminiscent of "Sensuous" and "Body" for me! If you're finding this a little too plain and naturalistic on its own, I recommend layering it with something sweet. I recently layered this with - Hear me out - "Pink Sugar". Perfumites, I was surprised by my own genius! Just spray a little bit of PS first, let that settle for about half an hour, than spray P&B. It becomes very nuzzle-able! This could definitely be used as a unisex perfume! I'd be A-OK with smelling this warm, cosy scent on a man. I'd be happy to get a warm hug from a lovely man wearing this. 😊 Conversely, I feel *very* feminine when I wear it. As if I'm actually grown-up, mature, approachable, intelligent, and ever-elegant. So, go figure. Longevity is decent for Jo Malone - which we know isn't saying much, but I'll take it. Sillage is gentle, and - yes - does become a skin scent. Truthfully, I don't hate perfumes that becomes skin scents if I feel they are purposefully composed to settle and mingle on the skin. This is one of those scents. It's beautiful. *** Kitty rating: 9/10.

This is my first Jo Malone that I bought... expensive, $188 plus tax here in Canada, and , while I love it, I am not sure it was worth it. It starts with a fruity smell, I can smell figs but no black currants, Sadly, this only lasts a few minutes, and dissipates way too quickly The milky figs turn into sweet, candied violets, delicious, soft and powdery, mixed with something reminding me of linden blossoms , even thought this is not a note mentioned here, not unlike the one in Ciel by Annick Goutal. The scent is stunning at this point, I simply cannot help but visualize a field a wild flowers, blue sky, and shining sun. This beautiful phase also doesn't last long. The base comes quickly, and and baby powered mixed with newborn smell - gentle, clean, pleasant. I don't know what barley smells like, or poppies... The cologne looks like water in the bottle. The silage and lasting power are both poor, according to my expectations, sadly this has one of the worst performances I've seen. I think this is a perfect bedtime scent, to wear right after the shower. Elegant, feminine, gentle, soft, beautiful. Except for the poor performance and price, it's a beauty ! I don't see how a man could pull this off, unless he wasn't straight....I am getting addicted to this dainty beauty,

I absolutely adore Poppy and Barley the moment my nose smelled it! At first I was a little hesitant seeing the notes, so I bought the small size bottle Jo Malone has to test it on my skin. And to my great amazement, it was love at first smell! It smells very feminine and classy in a demure way. It does not project or has great sillage but you can smell it on yourself, giving you the comfort and satisfaction that you indeed smell amazing. They said that poppy doesn't really have a smell, so I am guessing that it is the fig and blackcurrant giving it the edge to it. The drydown is what captivated me, it is mellow and floral in a non-offensive way, its smooth, delicate and beautiful to smell I have never smelled a fragrance like this before and it is so sad to see how underrated this is. It is a great signature scent for ladies of all ages, t is not too strong nor too light which makes it good for all occasions as well. Hands down my fave so far in the Jo Malone line! PS. I sprayed this on my jacket and it was washed already and was in my closet for how many weeks, and when I took it out of the closet since I'll use it again, I got to smell a familiar scent, and omg it was the poppy and barley that I sprayed like weeks ago 😆

Received a 10 ml sample of this with purchase at Jo Malone when it first came out and was instantly blown away by how good this is. Had always been a Jo Malone lover but this was next level. Not only was it the most unexpectedly tart and sweet feminine loveliness but it also had great staying power and sillage. I rarely get complimented on my scent but I remember 2 notable compliments while wearing Poppy and Barley. I have noticed that Jo Malone florals really lose their potency quicker than most brands. I suggest always get the 30 ml so you don't have to have them waste into nothingness. I got a 30 ml off FragranceNet of Poppy and Barley, trying to economize but when I first opened it it was nothing like the original from Jo Malone, weak like water and the scent was no where NEAR as amazing. Thinking it was probably older and expiring...guess you get what you pay for, even though all my other purchases of other brands from Fragrance Net have been great! So I'm going to be purchasing Poppy and Barley straight from the source at Jo Malone not discount sites due to it's apparently delicate, quick to degrade nature.

I adore this scent. It’s the perfect blend of toasted barley and juicy, fruity fig. It reminds me of sunlit farm houses; summer dresses made of linen; the blonde hair of a child; fresh, lofty, white linens and swaying fields of golden wheat, overall evoking cleanliness, innocence and playfulness. I feel so happy when I wear it. I was re-drawn to Poppy & Barley after recently falling in love with its more mature sister, Scarlet Poppy (which is similar, but deeper and stronger). I was looking for something in the same vein that I could wear more easily for everyday occasions - and this one fit the bill perfectly. Longevity is decent given that it’s a cologne (I found a shirt in my laundry pile that I had sprayed with this two days earlier and still got fairly strong wafts of it). I should also add that I’ve received many compliments on this one - it’s a crowd pleaser. As a soon to be first time mom, I feel that this will be a perfect scent for the months to come - and love the idea of my child recognizing me with this beautiful, joyful scent.

Finally gave in and got Jo Malone Poppy & Barley (100ml)... and yeah, I get it now. After way too much research and scrolling through Reddit, I went into the Jo Malone store and sprayed it on myself — that was the turning point. At first spray, it’s soft — slightly floral, a bit powdery. Nothing loud, nothing trying too hard. But after a while, this is where it gets good. It settles into the skin and turns into something clean, creamy, a little musky... subtle & comfort, exactly how I like it. Longevity is there, just not in a loud way. It stays close. I can still smell it on my inner elbow hours later, especially that warm barley note that makes it feel a bit cozy and different from the usual fresh scents. I even came home, took a shower... and I could still smell it. Not loud, just a soft skin scent. That’s when I knew. This isn’t for people who want attention. It’s for people who like things subtle. The kind of scent you only notice when you’re close.

A sophisticated floral This is lovely clean, chic perfume. Perfect for everyday wear, it’s elegant and intriguing but not too sweet. To my nose it opens with a fresh floral of garden rose, violet and a hint of fig and blackcurrant blended so well that at first your nose struggles to differentiate the notes with a slight scratchy, dryness from the powder that pulls you in, intrigued to discover more. It settles on my skin lovely, with a soft fresh, green violet and garden rose and a light comforting white musk. The fig, now slightly creamy, dances with nutty salty bran that oddly compliments the blackcurrant. There is a little tingle of sweet and salty mustiness in the powdery dry down with the grains interacting with the musk, with a dustiness to it, that reminds me of paper pages in a really old book. I really like this perfume. It’s understated yet intriguing at the same time with a sophisticated yet practical vibe.

On a test strip: this is gorgeous. And ALL the notes and personality that I love! So airy and joyful. Beautifully fresh. I'm annoyed with myself for not looking into this one sooner. (Too "busy" obsessing over Jasmine Sambac & Marigold) On skin: wonderful! Not an immediate beauty because on my skin I do get more of the wheat and bran notes first, but it quickly becomes the same scent on the test strip. Love the juicy brightness of the fig and the powdery florals. Unfortunately, it's quieter on my skin than what's on the strip. Really lovely but not sure what I'll think with prolonged usage and testing throughout the year. Definitely worth the effort though! **update: in cooler temps this is a bit repulsive with the grain notes on my skin. It's bothersome to catch glimpses of the scent I liked, while picking up what smells like shredded wheat and malt. I am willing to keep testing. Love the fig and violet though.

The smells really really good on the tester. Sweet without being overwhelming and I get a really fresh fig. On my skin just saw like really comforting Sweet scent. Update: I tried this again and the scent is a little bit more like the barley but I really enjoy it. There is something comforting about it. It is not overly sweet and I often enjoy tea fragrances. This makes me think of those. 2024 update: this is a fragrance I love to wear on a sunny day. It smells like pollen and dried grasses, but in the best way. I first tried and liked it in the summer, but then I ordered it in the winter and found that I wasn’t reaching for it. Now, the weather is warm again and I can’t stop wearing it. It’s perfectly light, inoffensive for the office, but sweet in a gorgeously understated way. I honestly haven’t smelled another scent like this.

First of all, this is not a powdery fragrance. As a person who bought many fragrances in the past, hoping they were powdery angelic scents, and was dissapointed in most of the times, this is NOT a powdery fragrance. It’s clean, it’s fresh in a non aquatic way. Kind of like shower gel-ish, but i might give the wrong impressions with this, since i find every scent with fruity notes a bit shower gel-ish. Fig and black currant in the opening gives it the shower gel impression. After couple minutes, powdery notes begin to show up but they do not opress the fruity notes. Wheat and barley makes it dusty but most definitely not powdery. Performance is great considering other non intense, regular fragrances of jo malone. It’s “i just took a shower and left home without drying my hair” scent. Clean girls would love it 🌸

This is a lovely, warm and sunny fragrance. I can smell pretty much all of the notes, and everything feels very balanced and thought through. The powdery notes are very well combined with the fruity and floral notes. I literally get the feeling of walking through a wheat and poppy field on a hot day. A beautiful day scent that works very well as a room scent as well, I think. I originally bought this as a dupe for Coquelicot - Poppy by Durance, and the fragrances are indeed very similar. The Durance fragrance is slightly less complex and a bit greener though, if I remember correctly. I think I like Poppy & Barley a bit more, even if they are both nice fragrances. The projection and lasting power is pretty great. Better than most JM fragrances I've owned before.

I bought a nice big sample of Poppy & Barley. I did four sprays on my pyjamas at bedtime so I could enjoy the smells and the scent has lasted for four days and is still going! I am blown away by the longevity of this fragrance. Every note is moreish for me, the violet, the fig, the blackcurrant, all good things. I’m thinking first time lovers rolling in the hay barn on a warm, summer day. It’s a natural skin scent, like my younger self, naked, ripe and ready for love!! The sweet wheat with florals and health shop bran. Gorgeous, beautiful and timeless. I love powder and musk and here they linger in the background just lifting the other notes upwards. If, on a countryside walk, you like eating wheat kernels from the farmers field, I think you’ll like fragrance.

I enjoy this scent so much! I think it is underrated since I don’t hear a lot of people talk about it, but I found out about this scent because I actually smelled someone wearing it as they passed by me and stopped them to ask them! It is quite a “clean” fragrance like most Jo Malone scents, however it is a bit sweeter than most of the other ones! I liked Peony and Blush Suede but it was a bit more sharp and mature for me, this one is as others have said more relaxed and sweet. One of my favorite ways to wear this one is to layer it with “Scarlet Poppy” and it is also recommended to be layered with “Myrrh and Tonka” which I have to try sometime. I think this is quite a crowd pleaser and not offensive for most others noses. Check it out!

Seriously dreamy. The maltiness from the barley borders on lactonic for me, but in a milk hay and honey way. Agree with other reviewers that the barley is almost beer like, but then it warms and mellows into something simultaneously more sheer and more grassy/floral with the malty undertone. I don't get powder or talcum at all, but maybe that is more due to my associations of powder with iris and cooler notes. This is warm, sunny, friendly and inviting, but also so unusual and frankly refreshing in a sea of aggressive fruity florals. Love, hoping to test out for a few weeks to see how it wears on me over time and different conditions before investing in a full bottle.

I love this perfume on a summer day. It smells so amazing words cannot describe it. It actually lights up my mood when I was wearing it. I know its kinda spendy, but i think it is worth it for me. When I was walking on the street and the summer wind blows through my arms, I feel pretty. Sounds dorky, but it's my true feelings. ;) --------------editted April fools day 2022---------------- Weather is getting cooler recently. Windy and breezy giving out a fall vibe. I sprayed poppy&barley, playing Fields of gold by Sting in the backgound. I feel like im standing in a field of barley in harvesting season. Sky is blue, air is fresh, so invigorating. Mooood moment for me

starts very fresh and floral, but develops into an elegant milky-clean fabric scent. i can smell it getting more and more lactonic as it dries down. in my opinion, it's comparable to, but better than, many popular skin scent perfumes. it's clean, powdery, and musky; sweet but not too sweet. doesn't really remind me of grains as much as it does fresh cotton. depending on who wears it, it can be a very sexy scent or an inoffensive one. i can imagine it on a beautiful young woman attending someone's wedding, or on a middle-aged receptionist. truly versatile, and great for layering. i'd love to wear it myself but the opening is too feminine for me.

Another true unisex scent from one of my favourite perfume house, Jo Malone! The longevity is simply outstanding in performance. I took this with me on a recent holiday to Cancun. I sprayed a couple on my body before dipping in the pool and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments from everyone in the pool saying how good I smelled. This truly lingers on your skin for a long time. This is perfect year round. The sillage is also outstanding. This is a very versatile scent from Jo Malone that will perform very well day and night and in all seasons! I can’t smell the fig on this which is fine as I’m not a fan of fig notes. Overall score: 10/10

I love this. Poppy here is a fantasy note. It's rather a fruity softened fig accord with powdery notes. It's quite similar to Scarlet Poppy but is not as warm and cozy. Since it misses the orris base, it gives off a less woody vibe, and has a significantly less pronounced base/background overall. I do personally think Scarlet Poppy is slightly more intense and is worth investing into. However, this perfume is still gorgeous and well-balanced. I barely "hear" the barley base though. To me, it's mostly musk in the background, but it is in fact a soft, non-animalic warm musk with slightly powdery undertones. It's a "safe" musk so to speak.

Three years ago, Jo Malone released the English Fields collection and I loved it so so much. I got the Poppy and Barley from this collection at Paris in my first Europe trip. Many years later, I didn't notice that Jo Malone re-release Poppy and Barley with new formulation and packaging. That's so amazing, the new formular was changed, less herbal and more fruity notes but still remain the idea about the English Fields. Like the old version, sillage is still moderate but longevity in this formular is better. I'm so happy that they re-release new formulation of Poppy and Barley from the English Fields collection.

This is an interesting fragrance. I fell in love with it on a summer day and purchased a FB. The note that stood out for me was Barley, wheat, powder, which gave a very creamy powdery feel, fresh and the longevity was also decent on me. However today, a comparatively colder day (18 deg C), I cannot smell anything other than (slightly green) fig with blackcurrant. This feels almost 90% similar (dry down only) to Le Labo The Noir 29, which I also own. There is hardly any silage in cooler weather and settles into a skin scent though. I prefer this for warmer weathers for the creamy powdery note.

This is my all-time favourite perfume! On me, it's so sweet and succulent, and the barley and bran give it such a delicious base for the poppy and fig to cling to. It definitely has some watery notes in my opinion, which is why it reminds me of a flower field where a light spring rain has passed over. The perfume definitely benefits from moisture I've noticed, which is why it performs much better during spring and summer rather than the dry winters. The sillage and longevity are pretty poor, which is the only complaint I have about the scent. I wish there was even an EDT version of this..!

Dry and tart. The opening is very sweet but wait for the drier notes to settle in and you’ll have this beautiful captivating smell reminiscing a walk in a fields of wheat. I couldn’t quite discern the fig at first - it just smells like a nice green leafy plant. The powdery note (from the violet?) has a similar vibe to Diptyque Fleur de Peau, but brighter. I have both - I prefer JM. Contrary to popular reviews I think it performs best in cooler weather. Warmth and humidity tend to eat up the “dry” aspect of the scent leaving behind only the fruity tartness.

I wear this every day and I cannot get enough of it. The first spray is a super fresh, almost zesty (?) floral with this unusual but very lovely and grounding barley note. The dry down turns it into a powdery floral that is very sweet, but not in a sugary or synthetic way but a natural, flowers-in-the-breeze way. I also pick up on this ozonic, almost metallic note on my skin, but I haven't heard much about it so I think this might just be how it reacts to me. I get the sense this fragrance is very, very reactive and will change drastically with skin.

This fragrance has undoubtedly become one of my Jo Malone favorites. Fruity, Floral, Powdery! Open with that milky fig, with a hint of rhubarb (note undeclared), or a fresh, tangy blueberry. Then enter the sweetness of violet and a fresh, airy rose, subtly sweet. In the background we get a powdery note, almost like cereal, a sweet powder that reminds me of oatmeal. A very "cottagecore" fragrance, it evokes me a large open field, green, humid, at dawn, with fruit trees, and a country house. A breakfast on a terrace, with jams and cold tea. A delight!

This is one of my favorite Jo Malone scents. It lasts fairly well on me, though I do also like to layer it - maybe with something lightly orangey. The notes on this one are so hard for me to pick out. I don't know what poppies really smell like, nor what barley smells like. What I get is an almost sweet but restrained (because Jo Malone would never!) ladylike floral. Work appropriate, not what you're looking for if you want something that's going to stink up the elevator for hours (PLEASE DON'T!) but clean, fresh, elegant, and feminine.

I purchased a bottle of Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey and got a 9ml bottle of Poppy & Barley as a free gift with purchase. I really did not know what to expect, as I have never smelled fig in a perfume before, and thought maybe the wheat note would make this smell like... beer? I am happy to report that this does NOT smell like beer. 😊 It smells delightful. Fresh, warm, beautiful, and the drydown is almost... woody. I love this perfume, and plan to own a big bottle someday. I also plan to try more perfumes with fig in them!

This is very cute. My first impression is of cake. Not a birthday cake, but a charming tea-time sort of cake with fig and candied violets (the internet tells me no such cake exists, more's the pity). It's quite soft/whispery compared to other JM scents I've tried, but still has a unique character that is very evocative of the British countryside, very cottagecore, if you're into that. Definitely powdery, but it doesn't bother me as much as it does in other compositions. Lasts about half a day on me.

In my opinion this fragrance is highly underrated. It's so cozy and warm I feel like diving in a pool of it. Whenever I wear this, I feel happy and relaxed yet beautiful and sexy. It's a lovely smell and probably my favorite among the perfumes I own. It's been my signature scent since I first sniffed it at a Sephora store. I immediately fell in love with it. It lasts a lot on my skin. About 10 hours. It's not strong and the projection is moderate to low. But from time to time I can smell it.

I either love or hate Jo Malone, this is a love. I smell every note listed and yet it's completely well blended. Overall it gives a shampoo vibe...fresh, creamy, yummy. Inoffensive great anytime anywhere. It's female in my opinion and any age. Fig lovers will enjoy it, a noticeable creamy fig note throughout wear. After wearing I'd say this is almost strictly fig fruit on me. Very close to Dyptique Philosykos without the leave/branch notes.

First sniff of Jo Malone's creations and I like it! It's fresh and uplifting in a way only a British cologne can be. I can definitely smell the violets and figs, even something vaguely citrussy (the blackberry's sourness?) but no barley for me at this point (2 hours in). What bugs me is that poppies don't have a scent. If anyone has ever managed to smell a poppy... You're either gifted some sort of supernatural powers, or lying.

Intoxicating. There's actually not much poppy or barley I can smell in this (and poppy is a notoriously faint scent anyway), and so this is really dominated by black currant and fig and violet, which together produce an accord which is like a fruity red wine. This could very much be worn on its own (unlike some other Jo Malone scents). It is not that powdery, and it is to me highly unisex and versatile. This is really a winner.

I think that I will always want this in my collection. It's a soft, gentle floral with a nice creamy-powder to it that is just so nice. It has moments where it's clean and refreshing, and has moments of warm comfort. I get around 4-6 hours of longevity with this, which is actually way more than I would expect from a Jo Malone, and just makes me love it more. I just finished a bottle, and a replacement bottle is on its way!

I was given a sample of JM poppy and barley recently and thought it to be an unusual combination but gave it a go. I can’t remember the last time I had such an instant love of a fragrance, I just can’t put my finger on why this works for me? The scent is warm, inviting and comforting. It couldn’t buy a bigger bottle fast enough! My only worry now is it’s a limited edition, so better stock up I think.

This is so good.. I’m not kidding. I probably already wrote a review but that’s just how good and unique it is to me. It’s a very pretty/dainty fragrance but it definitely has some character. It reminds me of Gris Charnel in a way but without all of that sandalwood. I have both and I’m gooood. If I was a signature scent kind of woman then this would be me all the way... but I’m not so that’s that lol

I have to take it back that Pomegranate Noir is my fav from Jo Malone, because this one is actually TOP! It is much more wearable, softer and just so special. Something about this is unique yet familiar. I think this is a crowd pleasing scent which could be a great year-rounder. Will get first a decant and then hopefully a FB at some point. Or the body cream of this, since the scent is quite creamy.

Poppy & Barley is a very beautiful and easy-to-wear fragrance. It’s wonderfully reminiscent of the crystal and floral vibes of 1990s scents, but in its own way. Sparkling flowers, juicy fig and currant, and fresh earthy wheat and barley are the predominant notes of this fragrance. Poppy & Barley is bright, lovely, and happy. I love how it isn’t powdery at all. It’s classic and timeless.

Depending on the day, sometimes I like Poppy & Barley, sometimes I love it! Creamy floral notes that dry down to sweet powder. Usually I don't like powdery fragrances but I enjoy this one. Perfect for spring, maybe summer if it's not too hot as it probably won't last. An all-purpose fragrance, soft enough for a casual day and elegant enough for a more formal event. Very, very pretty.

Super soft poppy with a powdery barley note at the end. Simplistic and almost school-girlish, sweet and unlikely to offend. I dont smell any musk, fig or currant. Very comforting, but almost no sillage or lasting power. It was gone on me in less than an hour (although I have an old sample, so perhaps thats part of the problem). A safe blind buy, but also a little "meh."

my first expensive perfume, and my signature perfume in high-school! airy and fresh, feminine without being overwhelmingly floral - the barley note adds a nice touch of androgyny and interest. i remember i chose it because it was the first perfume i had smelled that wasn't perfume-y - there's nothing artificial about it, it smells like a morning in late august

There is something about this that reminds me of my grandmother's homemade jam. It's not an overtly fruity scent, but there's enough there to make me think blackberries. Combine the greenness/vegetal scents of a vegetable/fruit garden, and it's like I'm back there at her house as a child during summer vacations. I don't get powdery from this fragrance, at all.

This is my second favourite Jo Malone fragrance, No. 1 is Basil & Neroli. I think it’s the barley note that makes this smell boozy to me, like a light beer with floral notes. And I just realized it has fig in this and no wonder it was an instant like for me. This is airy, slightly fruity, light floral with a touch of booze and quite unique. Great for daytime.

It become all time favorite scent for Christmas remind me walking across the farm of barley and wheat ,flowers ,candy (so smooth and natural smell till date). Not too much sweet at the same time powdery with the hint of pleasant white flowers. Even if it is cologne it still stays with me for more then 3 hrs on my skin.😍

I'm a bit confused, I bought 2 bottles, both authentic, and they smell very different from each other. One is very sharp and fresh and has a burst of alcohol in the furst few seconds, the other is soft, fresh and sweet in the drydown. I hate the sharp one and love the soft and sweet version. Has it been reformulated?

Well rounded throughout entire wear as if it just melts into your skin. Cozy and sexy. Extremely seductive. Super underrated. Edit: sprayed as usual and left the house on a warm day. I’d probably recommend wearing this when you know you are gonna be in a controlled temp environment while it’s drying down.

Easily one of my favorite Jo Malone scents! I find it to be somewhat similar to Scarlet Poppy but I think this one is much better suited for the summer/warmer months and Scarlet Poppy is better for colder months. It was created by the same perfumer. The fig and black currant in the opening are gorgeous.

I’m absolutely in love with this scent - clean and fresh, a little fruity and so comforting. It makes me feel sophisticated and calm. I just wish it was stronger! If anyone has any recommendations on other products with a similar scent - oils, lotions, other perfumes - it would be much appreciated!

Such an underrated JML fragrance! I don’t think it’s powdery at all. I’d say soft floral, but it’s so unique! It’s one my husband really loves on me and it’s truly so beautiful. You will not be disappointed by this fragrance! I find it lasts quite long for being a cologne concentrate as well.

This is my signature scent, I Love from the beginning until Dry down, it’s fantastic! I love wearing it as at home as outdoor. It’s very feminine, cosy, as well as elegant. Very long lasting on me- 8+ Hours- far by comparing other JMs. I’m lucky 😊. I plan to buy the Body and Hand wash.

I haven’t seen anyone write that this reminds them of Stella - Stella McCartney or Happy Chopard Felicia Roses. Not dupes but similar. I have a 90% full bottle of my Stella but I am using Poppy and Barley and Felicia Roses because Stella is discontinued.

The perfect spring perfume. Very fresh, slightly sweet, complex but not intimidating. Easy to layer, soothing and safe. I love this so much ... the perfect amount of safe + unique. Makes me feel like a walking English garden.
