Red Hibiscus Cologne Intense

Juicy sweet floral powdery... On my skin it's like sweet citrus vanilla and cream. Similar to Volce viva without the bergamot ginger and sweeter with more powdery creamy notes

The new bottle is stronger than the original. I own the OG and have a sample of the new. It’s lovely! Very summery to me.

Red hibiscus is a lovely soft and sweet scent, breezy almost, I expected it would have more punch but this inst a heady perfume..now it isnt like Flowerbomb in my opinion, this is a tad more exotic, not linear..it has a vibe of sunshine landscape , something like a warm gentle breeze blowing in the smell of sweet tropical plants..relaxing, pretty, feminine, I can see myself wearing it a lot..I dont detect much ylang ylang, it isnt like floral per se..more smooth..I wish it had had more longevity, like it is a cologne so I suppose light, now intense it isnt..I own and love Scarlett Poppy, and although they are different, they tend to have a soft vanilla veil in common, although the Scarlett poppy is much more interesting and complex..overall, very enjoyable, kind of a laid back perfume...and one I am happy to have. I might add it is a bit overpriced for what you get, but it is done with such smoothness and in a delicate way, maybe it is worth it.

Pleasant, summery, airy and happy feminine scent. At the beginning, it does smell with hibiscus flowers, but after 15 minutes it turns into the sweet vanilla scent, which gonna stay with you till the end. I would say, that there is a honey here, but not listed. Performance is higher then just Cologne. For example, I was comparing it with the yellow Hibiscus. If yellow Hibiscus keeps on the skin just around 1 hour. This one keeps more then 3 hours, for sure. Red Hibiscus reminds me very much other perfumes like Lancome Midnight Tresor, but especially the perfume which I already own- Boucheron Place Vendome edp 100 ml for 30 $. Soo similar performance and on the skin after hibiscus evaporates, stays just the same notes. Valentino Voce Vita- yes, they sound very similar too.

This is a very elegant summer beachy white floral with touches of yellow florals and hibiscus. It reminds me a bit of Aaron lauder's hibiscus palm but it's creamier and less floral. It's more musky and has more solar touches. I also get a bit of vanilla here in the base. So this is much sweeter than Aaron lauder's hibiscus palm but they're in the same family I would also put this in the same family as Goutal paris's songes but for a younger crowd. But this one is less spicy and less heady. Very pretty easygoing beachy summer fun type of fragrance would be a nice summer date night fragrance. Edit I gave the mini to a young lady. It's nice but I have enough of this type in my collection.

I never attach myself to limited edition scents because it's setting myself up for misery later on when I can't find it, or it costs way more than I can afford. That said, this is friggin' ADDICTIVE to smell. And I am sure the JM peeps are doing it on purpose! Screw that! Very pretty--fruity, spicy, feminine, alluring. This is the sexy Latina cousin of the regular JM line. They limited her edition because she was too sexy for the brand standard!

I'm not an expert to explain in detailed but I own quite a lot of Jo Malone London to compare. This one particular cologne smells a bit synthetic to me, it's just different from any other Jo Malone London colognes. I thought it would smell like Scarlet Poppy, but it doesn't. It has a hint of vanilla that reminds me a bit of Scarlet Poppy, but Scarlet Poppy is far more well rounded and elegant. The Red Hibiscus is more playful in my opinion. Another disappointing point is that it doesn't have that "intensity" despite being called a cologne intense. Projection is weak and longevity is poor.

For me, the vibe is quite similar to "Love, Don't Be Shy" but less gourmand, more floral, but still just enough and elegant. It is a scent that can still be suitable for both day and night use, not too strong to use in the office, not too light to not be able to go on a date, also quite inviting and flirty.

A review from only a few tests. The first impressions is a warm, summery, fresh, beachy feeling. It is soft rater than intense and with very little projection. The drydown is a nice association with babyoil on warm skin. Very short lasting. All in all a nice scent but you will not be noticed.

I rarely have a perfume reaction anymore, but this and Peony Blush Suede that I also recently bought, have both given me sneezing fits and headaches. They both smell very high pitched and cheap to me. I have other Jo Malones that do not do this to me; only these two.

This is a very nice scent!!! It’s creamy vanilla with oranges! On my skin, the vanilla is extremely potent!! I could see myself making this my signature scent! I must add this to my collection and I will! ❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥💋

The initial spray is spicy as expected, but for a Cologne Intense the longevity is still <1 hour like other JM colognes. Disappointing performance and disappointing buy even though I got this on discount.
