Rose Blush Cologne

First off, I do agree- this is sort of like if Peony & Blushed Suede and Red Roses by Jo Malone had a baby, but I will add that this concoction, aptly named Rose Blush, is certainly worth a try even if you've smelled both of its parents. To me, Rose Blush also is a near identical dupe for Eau Rose by Diptyque (specifically, the hair mist formulation)- light rose petals, fresh barely there greens, and then sweet, punchy lychee. The lasting power is impressive for a cologne (I could smell traces on myself a day after first spraying) and the dry down is pleasant- fresh, floral, and a little soapy. Jo Malone is all about mixing and matching their scents, so I'm sure you could just mix Red Roses and Peony & Blushed suede and get a similar effect. But, there is a definite charm this bottle has (this is the best packaging I've seen from this brand) and a very pretty, warm weather twist that Rose Blush has that neither of its parents do.

'A bright fresh rose with lychee' It's a blind buy full bottle for me as I really love the theme of this limited collection! The bottle, the tin box and the Gingham paper box is really beautiful. The top note is bright fresh rose with lychee and the it begins to fade down to subtle rose with a little hint of lychee for me even lychee is not on the main note the brand claimed...and I also don't get that basil on the top note as well. I think this would be perfect for spring & summer. It would be a safe blind buy for someone who love fruity floral scent, I guess. Somehow this kind of scent can be found in other brand as well...

A very pretty, mostly rose and lychee confection. At first spray, it’s all about the fresh and sweet scent of pink roses mixed with the juicy tartness of lychee. There is a hint of green at the opening, but it doesn’t translate as basil to my nose. As the fragrance develops on my skin, the rose is joined by the scent of clean, white musk, but the scent itself doesn’t change too much from its opening. It fits perfectly in the line’s marmalade collection; there is that jammy sweetness to the rose and lychee. Although the composition may not be groundbreaking, here it’s done well and it’s great for those days when I just want to smell pretty!

I love this fragrance! At first it starts as a green, juicy rose. The basil provides a freshness in the opening that makes me feel like I'm smelling roses planted near someone's herb garden. On the dry down this becomes much sweeter - on my skin, the lychee lingers to a sweet, candy rose smell. It's absolutely lovely, but my only complaint is that I wish the freshness of the basil lingered longer. Otherwise I think this would be a nice summer fragrance when the heat really helps the rose and lychee to bloom.

I enjoy this fragrance. It’s a light fresh take on rose. Reminds me of the smell of wild roses. I can almost smell a little lemon in this. The lychee brings some sweetness to the fragrance. I don’t smell any basil, but get a little hint of a green note. Worth a try if you’re on the look out for a light, pleasant rose scent.

The best of the JM rose offerings. Fresh and bright, with the slightest sour sharpness, it's lovely and modern. The basil is subtle and I don't sense woodiness, which I especially appreciate. Still I do not at all understand its inclusion into the "marmalade" collection.

An easy to wear rose fragrance. Even though this has basil—and the perfume voted similar, Izia Sisley, does not—Rose Blush still reminds me of it.

Somehow this rose perfume performed unfavorably on my skin. This green part of the perfume smelled sourish on skin and it’s not a good kind of sourish. On clothing there was no such problem. But from the various Rose perfumes JML put out, this is so far the worst for me. My favorite is the Rose & White Musk then the Velvet Rose & Oud.

I got a different impression of this than the others seemed to. It is a sweet, powdery like rose, almost makeup like. Not fresh fresh or green. It is very tenacious. The strip I was testing perfumed the whole room for a few hours.

I was gifted this perfume by my mother, to me it smells mostly like a spicy basil and then secondarily floral. It smells like gardening, an okay springtime scent just not for me, a little too sweaty spicy.

First review! I ran to my nearest department store after learning of this launch and Rose Blush intrigued me the most. I love a good rose so I had high hopes for this and this exceeded my expectations. It is a delectable jammy Rose and lychee fragrance. It’s quite a bit sweeter than a lot of Jo Malone’s offerings which is a nice surprise. Rose and lychee are two of my favorite notes together and this does it so well in a non-generic way. It’s what I had imagined Delina to be (not that they smell alike) since Delina also advertises notes of lychee and Rose. This is smooth without any of the sour screechiness Delina has and as a result is a bit more sophisticated. I can imagine someone very put together and beautiful wearing this going to brunch or on a night out. Seriously, give this a sniff it is so beautiful.

Rose Blush is all about the soft rose petals, fresh hardly greens, and sweet, zesty lychee, in my opinion. The longevity is impressive, and the dry down is pleasant for this fresh, floral, and slightly soapy scent. a lovely, warm-weather twist It's simply delicious, fresh and bright, with just a hint of sour sharpness, and it's delightful and contemporary. The basil is faint and really lovely!

If you know what Jo Malone’s Red Roses and Peony & Blush Suede smell like then you know how the new Rose Blush Cologne smells. It’s as though they took both of those, stirred them together in a large vat and bottled it as Rose Blush. Is it pretty? Yes. Is it a redundant addition to the Jo Malone fragrance catalogue? Also yes.

This is a juicy rose scent, nice, but I feel I have smelled something similar before, in the end though, it is a bit soft,doesn’t open up much.. and too much about the rose, so I sent it back..I don’t detect the basil at all..it is nicely done, but not one I like enough to keep !

the bottle is very cute but i didn't really like this, ended up selling it. had a heavy (?) kind of rose scent, was nice just didn't suit me. lasted an ok amount of time

This is a very pretty rose scent. I do get the peony blush suede and red rose vibe. Lovely with Chance by Chanel, the green one, Fraiche!🌹🌸
