Sakura Cherry Blossom

I'm not going to describe the scent as all the other reviews had already hit the nail on the head with this one. However, I'm going to talk about the longevity because I believe SCB deserved justice. Get the facts straight, most if not all Jo Malone products are Colognes so they were not designed to "last" for hours like you'd expect, they were design softly in order to layer with other cologne from JM so you can create/adjust your own scent without anything being overpowered. With that said, coming back to SCB, I had try it on my skin as the brand instructed, lasted for 2 hours then the scent was complete gone, disappointed. BUT, it was a completely different story when it comes to putting this lady on clothing as she lasted me from 10:30pm the previous night to still faintly there at 8:21pm the next night. Didn't give me any headache, nose blind, anything. I sprayed her once and she lasted almost a whole day! WOW!

I was so excited to get this online and had it delivered the next day! A beautiful light floral scent that can be worn everyday and any occasion. The composition of both the rose and cherry blossoms are just amazing with the dry down lightly sweet and musky without losing the floral scent. This is much lighter than my other Jo Malone floral fragrances (Peony and Blush Suede and Red Roses) and I find more versatile to wear as the other two can be quite heavy to wear. The downside is that like all my Jo Malone fragrances, they don’t last long on my skin but sillage is pretty good. One of my new favourite scents!

I bought the 2022 version and I adore it. Maybe my skin reacts with this differently, but I have pretty good longevity with this, despite it being close to the skin. It's definitely more of one that you have to have your nose to skin for, but it leaves your skin smelling fresh and beautiful and delicate. I wore this today and could smell it on myself 6 hours later. Is it pricey? Of course, but then again, Jo Malone products are all expensive. I'd argue it's still worth the money for what it is. Plus, the pastel-pink frosted glass bottle is so pretty.

This smells so pretty - a perfect Cherryblossom scent. It starts with a slight bite of bergamot that fades fast (which is good imo) and then a beautiful Spring Cherryblossom blooms and maintains, resting on a musky base. Really very lovely, but maybe not up to the task of surviving the winter months. A bonus though is that my boyfriend really likes it - whoever said men don't like florals? :)

First sniff on the bottle made me think of Body Shop White Musk L'eau which I love. I sprayed it on my skin and thought that something might be different with it. But then the dry down came. It does smell like Body Shop. Will I buy again? No. Too pricey.

my beloved ~~ she is such a beautiful scent to me. i won't lie and say that she lasts long on skin bec she DOESN'T but she lasts ages on clothing!! i love the light floral so much and the fragrance is just as pretty as the packaging.

Wow! This is so delicate and pure aquatic cherry blossom! Think this is the best interpretation of this profile. Although it does not last for long, I highly enjoy from time to time flirting with this scent.

I dont know the original 2011 edition but I really like this years blue skies collection sakura cherry blossom. It reminds me the old miss dior cherie before it' s renewed million times

Wow, this is nice! It reminds me of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, but without the sweetness. It's fresh and feminine, very floral and tender. I love it.

First impression is floral and fruity with a lovely sweetness that is not overpowering. A very safe floral and light scent. I've never smelt cherry blossoms before, so not sure how realistic this perfume is. The citrus notes are wonderfully fresh and complement the florals nicely. I smell more mandarin than bergamot (it's a more zesty scent as opposed to how some citrus notes can smell slightly bitter). The citrus notes do seem to linger longer than expected. As the scent progresses, it starts to smell similar to a dewy bouquet of flowers, softer and a little powdery. Very feminine and reminds me of my peony/rose based perfumes. The dry down fades to a more warm and creamy floral. Quite a comforting but fleeting smell that remains a faint skin scent after three hours. A safe blind buy if you enjoy soft, feminine and floral perfumes. Would make for a very office-friendly and intimate scent as sillage stays close to the skin. Those who enjoy more unique or intense fragrances may find Jo Malone's Sakura Cherry Blossom lackluster or too generic. But overall, a very pretty fragrance at a rather high price-point.

Simple, graceful and pretty springtime pick-me-up reminiscent of sweetly perfumed sakura blooms in Kyoto. I've been lucky enough to visit and catching little wafts of this reminded me of that trip. It doesn't last or shout it's presence, it's a scent for you and only your very closest. Not every fragrance needs to be a power scent though and like most JMs, it's not so much a main component of an outfit as a cherry on the top. As another reviewer said, it's perfect for those who work in healthcare or similar professions. I really like it.

I tested the 2022 limited edition rerelease of this fragrance at a beauty retailer. Jo Malone London Sakura Cherry Blossom smells like real cherry blossoms! It has the almost bitter freshness I like in my florals. The fragrance is young yet dated, distinctively perfume-y due to a powdery effect, but I enjoy powder. It is also a little soapy with balanced sweetness. This light, simple scent charmed me, but the pretty bottle is too expensive for purchase.

i saw this in sephora and fell in love with the gorgeous pink bottle <3.... and when i tried it on it smelled wonderful! it’s so fresh and floraly but not too sweet. it smelled kind of old fashioned but in the best way possible. overall really fabulous. however i won’t be purchasing this because although it smells amazing, it didn’t even last thirty minutes on me. i can’t justify spending that much money on this perfume T_T

Light but beautiful pink and white floral perfume. I love cherry blossom, think its a highly underrated note, this would be lovely layered with another white floral.

Review of the 2022 edition. While the scent is nice (floral, soapy, clean, feminine fresh), the poor performance is absolutely unacceptable for the price.

It’s a pretty scent but very close to skin it last 30 minutes and it’s gone 😢

Such a pretty pretty scent. The first 5 mins bring such joy! Sadly, within an hour there is nothing. Now, I wear perfume for ME and I am happy with intimate scents but this simply disappeared. Spritz...and its gone! I am so disappointed and have to question are there actually any heart and base notes. But those first 5 mins are lovely. Come on Jo Malone Londo ...with a little more work...this could be a fabulous fragrance. Alas, unless the formulation alters, I will not purchase again.

I was so excited about this one but, while pretty, it's a ghost. Spray like crazy & sniff hard, you just may detect something. But do it fast because, to quote reviewer below: "Poof! It's gone, just like your money!"

Blind bought... hoping it would be a more refined B&BW Japanese cherry blossom. Instead it was a J&J baby lotion pink bottle. Skin scent for sure. Not bad, but the price 😬
