Silk Blossom

Do you like clean girl aesthetic? This is made for you. Floral, spicy and fresh af. I smell so clean and put together with this scent. Dewy skin, white silk blouse, gold jewelry and silky hair in a high pony tail. Confident. Sweetly charismatic.

edit: This one is starting to grow on me. I'm getting a clean, fabric softener-like vibe from it now. Maybe more like an expensive soap? I think I needed a cooling off period to get over it not smelling like silk blossom. haha Anyways, I'm glad I kept it and think it is probably a great scent for warm days. Honestly, the scent is a bit disappointing. While I did see the notes listed before buying, I still hoped for more of a true silk blossom scent - a light, fresh, clean, and sweet floral. However, the moss was very prominent on first spray and although the drydown became much cleaner and let the silk blossom come through, it's also a bit peppery. It did end up on the light and fresh side, though. Disappointment aside, it is pretty much what you would think when you see the notes listed (white pepper, silk blossom, and moss). I don't dislike it but I'd much prefer more silk blossom. I'll keep it and will still wear it.

I feel like the notes are incomplete here because there are certain things you can smell in this that are the same as the 2020 Silk Blossom release which has notes like these: top: apricot, pepper middle: silk tree blossom base: moss, heliotrope At first spray, this is fruity and smells like a cherry blossom perfume, it's very pretty and light. As it dries down, it has an almond-like smell to it that's really familiar if you've smelled heliotrope in the 2020 release and in other perfumes. This dry down is so pretty and gives it a bit more complexity than you'd expect. I like this one the most from the three limited releases that have come out, but none of them are must haves for me.

Not great, It has a strong opening, and dries down to a dirty skin type scent. I can't imagine layering it with anything, but it seems to not be complex enough to be worn on its own. I'm definitely giving Silk Blossom the benefit of the doubt, and would have to smell it again, but my first impression was not amazing. I do appreciate that it is not really sweet!

I also get a coco mademoiselle, but lighter vibe. Mossy and clean smell. I think it would have benefited from some light florals. I gravitate toward light clean scents, but this one wasn’t a winner for me, personally. Maybe it’s one that requires more wears to grow on you.

This was my least favorite from the collection. It reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle, but lighter and not as heavy.

first impressions: Clean like fabric softener. Artificial floral, more chemical than soapy, to me. The floral dimension comes out stronger as it settles, and in the same measure my appreciation decreases.

I don’t know if it’s just my nose but when i smelled this on my skin, I instantly thought of Sour Patch Kids candy. Good but not worth the price in my opinion.
