Game of Spades Emerald

Initially when I got my bottle I was exceptionally underwhelmed with the longevity. To the point I was concerned I had received a fake. However, after two weeks of sitting I gave it another shot and it's performing how I had expected. Smell is on point for sure. You can tell it's symphony and unless someone is intimately familiar with the OG the average passerby won't know the difference. I would say it's greater than 90% to the original. Longevity and projection is above average but not anything wildly spectacular either. I would rank this as my second favorite symphony clone, right behind Montagne, and definitely a good buy. Atomizer is decent, performs above average but also isn't anything too crazy. After about 4 hours it becomes a near intimate scent, only projecting if you are right in front of a fan with minimal trails. I have been able to catch whiffs of myself even 8 hours after applying. The flashy bottle definitely makes a statement on your counter as well.

Una increíble sorpresa. El aroma es rico, jugoso y 100% veraniego. Lo encuentro un poco lineal ya que no ha evolucionado tanto desde que lo sprayee, pero no necesita grandes cambios, debido a que el aroma es súper disfrutable. Frutas dulces que no empalagan y cítricos que no te hacen estornudar; un aroma bastante juvenil y juguetón. No he probado el OG, así que ni idea de la similitud.

Amazing interpretation of LV Symphony! To my nose it is about 90-95% similar. I get 7-8 strong performing hours on my skin and for the price, you can't go wrong with it.

The best symphony dupe there is i got this and khadlaj island dreams and this ultimately is just a way better fresh summer and the atomizer is one of the best ive seen

Doesn't last all that long compared to the OG, but the OG is a monster with performance. Other than that I'd say it's a tiny bit less sweet.

This is a pretty good scent. It smells very fresh and clean. Truly, beautiful but a bit boring. I honestly prefer YSYL MYSLF EDP (specifically Jo Milano's version Capricorn) over this. This and YSL MYSLF serve a very similar function and have a very similar scent. They both are basically citrus/white floral/musk. I personally get zero ginger. I'd describe the smell of Emerald as this: Imagine a bright sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. It's nice and cool, and the scent of grapefruit lemonade is in the breeze. Lastly there is a freshly washed linen sheet blowing in the wind. That's my best way to describe this. It smells like citrus, sunlight, and clean linen. A very pleasant smell in general. But i think YSL MYSLF has a bit more character personally. But this has great performance. This lasted me an entire workday. I sprayed all sides of my neck, shirt, and down both arms. I truly think people don't realize these scents have pressurized atomizers for a reason. SPRAY THEM!!! That's how you get the most performance out of these scents. But i was catching whiffs of this for at least 5-6hrs. and it was still noticeable as a skin scent until at least 9-10hrs. I think this projects an arm length maybe two, but probably not much more. This is a good buy if you want this scent profile. Maybe you ALMOST like YSL MYSLF but not quite... give this a try. I don't know what Symphony smells like, but if this is a dead ringer, which some people say, Symphony sure isn't worth the price.

This is a very good fragrance overall! It smells gorgeous on both the opening and the dry down. Unfortunately it is also held back just slightly by a synthetic chemical twang that is present for both as well. The opening shines with a bright strong but not overwhelming citrus note that drys down perfectly to allow for a musky fresh barely spicy scent with an almost perfect amount of citrus still leading the way. Further complimented by longevity and projection. The longevity is stellar, staying strong for the first 5 hours and lasting for just over 6 hours on both my skin and clothes; 6/10 here! Game of Spades Emerald projects the perfect amount for almost its entire 6 hour lifespan, only staring to loose its arm length radius in the last hour. A solid 7/10. Overall I would rate it a 7/10, it’s a gorgeous well balanced fragrance that opens nicely and dries down perfectly. I just wish it didn’t have that slightly synthetic chemical note in it; without that it would have been a 9/10 easily.

This smells nice, but performance is definitely subpar. I've macerated my bottle for months so that's definitely not the issue. Though I will say that it smells better than Khadlaj Island Dreams. The OG Symphony smells far better than both, but still has the same performance issues that come with the freshy territory. Got about 2 good hours on skin with decent projection within arms length. Scent 7/10 Sillage 5/10 Projection 6.5/10

Very close I’d say about 90 range longevity Is good but not my favorite fav but just as good as the original but more ginger for sure

I bought the gift set, and I didn't realize they're all parfums (I'm finding that I often dislike parfum flankers...), but I found this to be really screechy, synthetic, chemical, and artificial. Very overbearing chemical frutiness/sweetness up front...and that's it. Lasts long, but does not evolve or mellow out as it dries down. I don't get any of the musk, ginger, or amber notes at all; just aritificial watermelon/citrus. Maybe I need to let it sit for while, but it's very cloying and artificial to me. I found that with most of the GOS line tbh...

I got this as a sample with my order. I got excited by the notes, lost my enthusiasm with the smell. It smells like a man from the 1970's or 80's with a double knit polyester suit, double wide collar shirt (think Mr. Brady/Brady Bunch), no tie, shirt unbuttoned, gold chains and curly chest hair popping out at you adding to the layer of cheesiness. For some of you, this might be the smell or your dad or grandpa. If you are down at the thrift shop popping tags, stealing someone's grandpa's style, this perfume would complete the vibe.

Doing this review for the extrait because fragrentica doesn’t have it added yet. Honestly a little let down. I’d assume this is a super fresh batch because it has such a strong alcohol scent at first so will be coming back to this review after it macerates for a month but currently I’d say this is a 6/10 stand alone scent. Smells like the grapefruit antibacterial hand soap in your grandmas bathroom. You know the one. Not a bad scent by any means but very feminine and one dimensional. Not getting any musk or ginger. Lasts an easy 6-8 hours but more of a layering scent as is for me. Symphony is much more sophisticated, albeit, very feminine also. Was hoping it’d be more masculine leaning based on reviews. Layer it with a woodsy/green scent though and it’s mouthwatering. I’ve layered it with aventus and Chanel egoiste platinum and can’t get over either combo. Sensational.

This one does SO WELL for me! It’s definitely close to Symphony (by memory) and softer than Khadlaj’s take. I much prefer Emerald Extrait over Khadlaj Island Dreams. Longevity is great and same with the compliments. Grapefruit/ginger that dries down into a powdery citrus, perfect for the spring and summer. I’m so glad I gave this one a shot. Game of Spades has been releasing some great fragrances!

This is fabuloso lemon cleaner this smell cheap and synthetic, not even close to symphony thats crazy people compare anything this days, at least they tried and performance horrible I would get a mancera cedrat boise or french riviera on discounters for about the same price range maybe little more if you want something fresh that smells miles better than this thing.

This smells like a blonde European man in a white dress shirt and black tie drinking green tea on camera while continously affirming that he does not take mind altering substances.

Emerald es Mucho mejor q khadlaj dreams!!! Prefiero la version normal q la extrait q practicamente es lo mismo
