Sacred Frankincense 4 by JoAnne Bassett (New) Review (Sample) by JoAnne Bassett the notes, Olibanum, Cedar, Tulsi, Juniper Berry, Petitgrain, Geranium, Black Pepper, Red Mandarin and Balsam Fir. I get the Olibanum, Cedar, Black Pepper, Juniper Berry, Balsam Fir and Geranium, it starts off with some Olibanum and Cedar making it spicy, woody and a touch medicinal, the olibanum is strong, the cedar is mild. Then after about twenty minutes the cedar dissipates, the olibanum softens and remains, in comes the black pepper and balsam fir, making it spicy, piney and fresh. the black pepper and balsam fir are mild. Then after about two hours the black pepper dissipates, the balsam fir softens and remains, in comes the juniper berry and germanium, making it green, resinous and lemony, the juniper berry is mild, the geranium is soft. Frankincense 4 reminds me of Jo Malone's Incense and Cedrat and Ava Luxe Olibanum, Incense and Cedrat is sweeter and softer and Ava Luxe Olibanum is more spicy with an added oud note. they all have similar incense and spice notes. What I loved most about Frankincense 4 was the vintage feel it has to it, I notice myself getting more and more into vintage but modern fragrances as time goes on. This is a very soft, aromatic, dry, grassy, balmy with soft citrus and herbal undertones Oriental fragrance. this is unisex and perfect for ages twenty five and above. This can be worn all year 'round, would be perfect for the Spring and Summer, I get average projection and average longevity, I liked this fragrance, it was very nice 3.5/5 Stars.
