So Love

I took a gamble on this blind buy... no reviews, but during my boring winter work days, I search scents on this site by my favorite notes: toffee, sugar, praline, anything gourmand. The sweeter the better! I love foody scents, juicy fruits, vanilla, etc... So I'm excited to be the first review on this. (Found on ebay for $21 with free shipping for the 3.4 oz. My juice is yellow so the photos are misleading. My box was sealed/wrapped but the juice is not pink and the bottle is totally clear) Too bad my excitement ends here. :) I spritzed this on a napkin (I'm already wearing Jimmy Choo) and it's sooo basic. :( Just an alcoholy floral fruit shampoo. It's fresh, floral, and that is about it. I hope this changes on my skin and the weather (right now Michigan is sooo cold, my perfumes aren't lasting at all). I can barely smell this. Will update if anything exciting happens. :) How can a scent with so many notes be so generic? :( I'm glad I gave this a proper wearing, because it really developed on my clothes/body. Reminded me of Wild Rose by Avril Lavigne.... another fruity musk with a gourmand note. So Love is along the same lines... soft juicy fruits with this yummy light gingerbread/cookie base. Not a fave, but better! I will enjoy wearing from time to time.
