Accident à la Vanille – Lychee Lemon Pound Cake

Wow, this is just lovely. It is the most delicious sponge cake scene I have ever tried. A bit similar mood as the other Accident A La Vanille flanker - Crème de la Berry. I was worried lemon would be fake/overpowering or lychee too noticeable (I'm not the greatest fan of lychee flavours), but no, it is a primarily cake scent. A light, fluffy, fruity, golden sponge. And the fruitiness is not some familiar generic variety, it is unique and very pretty. Perfect for spring!!! I only wish it was stronger/louder, but on another hand it fits the theme. Get it if you still can (it's limited edition)!

On the skin, the fizzy opening of lemon and lychee doesn’t last very long—I get vanilla almost immediately. It’s a pleasant, sweet vanilla that works well for spring. It’s similar to the OG, but I prefer the fruity opening here, so I chose this limited edition. Very happy with my purchase. I also ordered Strawberry 🍓 & Whipped Cream and Plump Cherry 🍒 and Sweet Tonka—I’ll be testing them soon 🙃

Since you have apparently received your purchase and have not written the outcome of it, your "review" was not helpful. To everyone else: who come here to get info about the product: I bought it without trying it first and assured myself that since I own the OG Accident a la vanille and I like it, it can not be such a fail. Well, I was proven wrong. For a few seconds it opens very similar like the OG, and then immediately the sharp and very intrusive "citrus" hits you! Not a fresh zesty lemon 🍋, but an artificial citrus - just like the yellow citrus Cif (bathroom cleaner). And unfortunately it stays that way and does not evolve. Huge disappointment for me. In case anyone in EU is interested for half price, send me a DM.

To @Christabellla: Ohh stop being such a Karen :) I actually recieved my package a few hours ago so had a chance to do a wear test now. I got 3, Accident A La Vanille Lychee Lemon Pound Cake, Pumpkin Latte & Crunchy Bite and Strawberry & Whipped Cream. Pumpkin Latte is my least favorite one, totally unwearable. Lychee Lemon is my 2nd least favorite and Strawberry & Whipped Cream is the only one I like and considering wearing. Even though it reminds me of Strawberry Jam. I will be decluttering the other two. Lychee Lemon just smells like fizzy tart lychee in the opening than dries down to smelling like Yes I Am Fabulous by Cacharel. I get no vanilla, styrax or cake. Rating 3/10.

This perfume reminds me of a more buttery, vanilla-y version of lush Supermilk, the hair primer specifically. I get much more lemon than lychee. It’s powdery, reminiscent of crumbled butter biscuits. It’s not lemony in a sharp way, more like a creamy lemon posset. It’s not overly projecting or long lasting, which makes it quite wearable for a Jousset fragrance.

En ouverture on obtient une odeur de gateau au citron plutôt réaliste. La note de lychee se perçoit peu et plutôt au séchage. Le parfum a peu de tenue et aucune projection, semblable à une brume. Une honte pour le prix! Jousset me déçoit beaucoup sur ce point et je ne pense pas faire d'autres achats de cette marque à l'avenir.
