Definitely smells of pear and chocolate sauce, so pretty much agree with the previous review. I was hoping for the cognac note to be more prominent, or prominent at all really. I still really like this one though!

So I just got this in today along with Sticky Popcorn and Cafe Affogato and overall I like this perfume. I sprayed it once inside the cap and all I got was vanilla and chocolate. Off of that impression I judged it as just your average gourmand with just those two accords. However, upon testing it on my skin it was SO DIFFERENT. I was not able to pick up on the pear note inside the cap but on my skin did it shine. It was short lived unfortunately, about 30 to 45 minutes of being detectable, however in that 45 minutes of pear mixed with chocolate and vanilla, it was just paired perfectly together and I could not stop sniffing the back of my hand. 2 sprays by the way. The best way to describe the pear scent for me is like biting into a freshly picked pear and you can taste that slight zest with bitter sweetness and gritty-ish texture. Combine that together with the sweet facets and that is what I get. At the dry down I can detect, albeit very faint, the cognac but I have to actively dig my nose in it and actively look for it. Projection is good for the first hour to an hour and a half. As far as longevity goes I got about 7 hours on it. Mind you I sprayed on the back of my hand and not a pulse point. I think this is suitable for all seasons except for summer, MAYBE on a cool night in summer but I wouldn't push it. Belle Helene is smooth and decadent and I enjoy this for sure. I'm thinking of getting the rest of them which is banana split and crème brulee just to complete the entire set.

This a "it's not you it's me" situation. Longevity is good, at least 7-8 hours but I can only smell juicy, sweet pear and sweetened cocoa powder (which to be fair is delicious) for the entire day, the other notes are basically nonexistent on my skin. That was kinda disappointing. As expected it's very gourmand and it is good but I'm not sure I want to smell like this throughout the day, if it were a candle I think I would love it more. I think I'll give this collection another shot with Sticky Popcorn which seems more up my street.

To me this smells like boozy pears that have been covered in melted milk chocolate. Very realistic and absolutely delicious. It’s gorgeous! I just don’t know when or where I’d ever wear it, so I couldn’t justify getting a full bottle, but I still love the scent.

Strong, artificial, I mostly got tons of chocolate sauce w/ a table spoon of Cognac mixed into the chocolate sauce then poured over a sweet pear, then take a few almonds crush them up to sprinkle over this odd mix & a splash of vanilla. It does very much smell like a candle...no way a human should smell like this...I actually kind of enjoyed cafe afgano...but honestly they all have that candle-esque theme going on. 4/10 imo. If you love EXTREMELY gourmand/realistic scents, and don't mind a little artificial notes to get that, then this could be for you. Not me tho.

Chocolate and green tobacco, with a faint hint of white musk and popcorn. It’s interesting and unique, but too severe for me. I could see people loving this for the art.

Exactly what I expected, chocolate sauce + pear, and not much else. I'm not a fan of fresh fruits dipped in chocolate, so this is not my cup of tea unfortunately. Staying power is good, sillage is moderate.

wow, it's not good at all. Garbage. No offense, just really bad composition- small pile of strange aromatic scraps.

Wow this is not good, so artificial and sharp. Super strong pear in the opening that makes you nearly choke followed by chocolate. But more of a tootsie roll type of chocolate.
