Andron For Women

Originally the nerd in me wanted to add this to my collection because this was the first pheromone-based perfume released. (I love the totally 80's ads and TV commercial that sadly are not linked here!) What I did not expect from Jovan or the 80's was such a modern & expensive smelling scent. The perfume box states "Jovan combines the pheromone, Androstenol, with beautiful floral and exquisite ambery notes. Resulting in the first fragrance that transmits attractant signals to any male within sensory range". Exquisite indeed. Smells of quality ingredients. Smoothly blended, and easily unisex by today's standards. The florals I recognize are jasmine and narcissus. The slightly spicy "ambery" note of fragrance is just right, not overpowering. There is a subtle honey-truffle pheromoney note, that adds a gentle touch of sweetness. Much debated is the longevity of pheromones. I certainly feel the self effects of the androstenol from this time-traveling bottle as I write this! The scent does command compliments, be it the scent or pheromones... Much like any perfume, the stabilized notes and pheromones should easily keep well for years provided the bottle is sealed, chilled, and out of sunlight. My bottle was purchased in excellent untouched condition from Canada. This scent is perfect for fall, though I must admit it smells and feels perfectly divine right now in the heat of summer! I'll edit update if the scent and pheromone within it performs differently at various temperatures and humidity levels throughout the year.

Andron by Jovan for women was one of my favorite perfumes of all time! A 1980’s gem that I wish someone could re-create or come close to recreating! The scent of this perfume was unlike any other that I’ve come across to this day....sadly....So many good memories attached to that perfume🥰

I haven't had Andron for years, but I remember it well. The sexiest fragrance ever! Edit: I never had the nerve to wear it out of the house.

I wish that Jovan makes this perfume back...There is no other like that scent.

Another preview from me: just purchased vintage Andron. I'll post an update once it's delivered. TBH, I'm somewhat conflicted about this fragrance. It's labeled as a pheromone perfume. Which basically means it's supposed to be irresistable to the opposite sex. Oh well, we shall see. All right, the fragrance is here and it's an unusual one. Almost masculine with slightly bitter notes, Androm could easily pass for a unisex scent. A man could absolutely wear this scent. I smell slightly spicy, almost herbal notes, maybe some woods? Very unique for a women's scent. Andron has been discontinued, and that's a shame. The scent isn't dated or old fashioned at all, nor does it smell cheap.
